• Worpress throws 404 when I try to use a custom template page

  I made a custom page template (for example, for About page), added Template Name inside the file and saved that. Then I tried to add a page in wp admin console using that template. It said that the page had been created successfully but when I try to open it in browser, it shows me 404 error. What did I do wrong? Thanks.

A more general question is if event lifecycle of ASP.Net page guarantees that each event is fired only after previous has returned or events can be fired while previous is still executing? How does answer change if previous event fires some custom event such as DataBound? Can such event be executed in parallel with another event in page lifecycle?

If I then create a Page named foo I cannot view or preview the Page because the default URL, http://example.com/foo/, will resolve to the page for the PDF. How can I resolve this URL conflict?

• Turn off Jquery UI Accordion animation only during page load

  I'd like to turn off the accordian animation during page load, and then turn it back on after the page is loaded. Basically I've got multiple forms inside the accordion sections and when submitted the page gets reloaded and the relevant section is reloaded. But during the reload the animation is triggered which looks a little ugly. But I like it when the page is not being loaded. How do I achieve this effect?

  I have a web site that displays a column of flash videos. The page is w3c-valid. The problem is that the page loads very slowly and sometimes crashes my web browser. Until the page is fully loaded, the videos are slow to respond and play. Is there a way to make these videos load their preview images only? What should I do to speed the page up? The videos are 360x264.

But on the other hand, when I'm trying to access this collection on the Page_Load or OnInit events, it's way smaller and doesn't have any of the controls that have been there before.   i have given the user the option to upload his own aspx and code behind i will extract the path by the help of upload control and display the page onto the users home page, am thinking of using iframe but the problem of iframe is its size if fixed, are there any other ways of displaying page within a page without the use of iframes? and is there any efficient way of achieving the above goal? if there is no alternative please give a link explaining how privide resizing in iframes at the users end.

I have this javascript being called in the Page_Load event this.Page.ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript(this.GetType(), "Script", sb.ToString(), true); I click the continue button which does a post back but the values are not updated until I refresh the page again which makes me think the js isn't being run until after the page is returned.
