  • Introspection of win32com module / pythoncom module

    Hi, what is the best way to see what all functions that can be performed using pythoncom module? Specifically, i was working with the win32com module to operate upon excel files. I was not able to find introspection for it as we do for the rest of the modules. Can anyone please suggest how can i retrieve this information?

  • UIKeyboard turn Caps Lock on

    I need my user to input some data like DF-DJSL so I put this in the code: theTextField.autocapitalizationType = UITextAutocapitalizationTypeAllCharacters; But unfortunately what happens is the first to letter type in CAPS but then letter immediately after typing the hyphen will be in lower case and then the rest return to CAPS therefore producing output like this (unless the user manually taps the shift button after typing a hyphen): DF-dJSL How can I fix this? E:\repo\NikhilK-dynamicrest-a93707a\NikhilK-dynamicrest-a93707a\Core\DynamicObject.cs 19 43 DynamicRest The project is running .net 4 - shouldn't this be a part of the standard imports? am i missing something? What do i need to do to make this work?

  • Displaying a popup widget in QT over application border

    Let's say that I have an application frame, and I want to show a popup QCalendarWidget over on the right side of the frame. Normally, QT will clip the edges of the QCalendarWidget, cutting it in half and not displaying the rest, as it would be over the right side border. Is there a way to work around this limitation without resorting to implementing a QDialog? I want the widget to be visible outside the bounds of it's container.

Basically I would like to use SQL Data Services REST interface and let the ADO.NET Data Service Client library handle communication details and generate the entities that I can use. I looked at the samples in February release of Azure services kit but the samples in there are using HttpWebRequest and HttpWebResponse to consume SQL Data Services RESTfully. I was hoping to use ADO.NET Data Service Client library to abstract low-level details away.

  • Can one Python project use both 2.x and 3.x code?

    Hi all - I'm going to start on a long (~1-year) programming project in Python. I want to use wxPython for my GUI (supports 2.6), but I also want to use 3.1 for the rest of the project (to start using the 3.x syntax). Is there any way for me to design a project that mixes 2.x and 3.x modules? Or should I just bite the bullet and use either 2.x (preferred, since I really want to learn wxPython) or 3.x throughout?   • Is there a Grid plugin for jQuery that has similiar capabilities to the Ext-JS Grid?

    One of the most appealing features of Ext-JS is the Grid control in my opinion. I was searching for something free that does something close and have set my hopes on jQuery. I haven't found a jQuery (or other LGPL compatible) Table / Grid plugin that allows to: Reorder columns by dragging Resize columns by dragging Add or Remove columns on the fly Have a default good looking UI (subjective, but Ext-JS look I think is a concensus) In addition to the rest most grid controls have (Sort, Paging etc) Is there a free (LGPL) jQuery plugin that does the above?

Obabikon, ON 49°10'N 94°10’W 2278 km N69°W I have a regex search as follows: String LongPattern = @"(~)?([0-9\?])+°([0-9\?])*'[EWO]"; return FindPattern(source, LongPattern); It should be finding the <94°10’W But is it not. This regex is working for the rest of my data with out any problems. Any clues?

  • Why are there so many data centres in Texas?

    I've been searching for online hosting recently and have noticed a high concentration of hosting providers in Texas. Just wondering why this is? It couldn't be possibly be because of temperature (I don't think Texas is a particularly cool place to be) or maybe power is cheaper in Texas vs the rest of the States? Or maybe it's just there are laws in place which give hosting providers tax breaks? Would be very interested to find out.

    Hi,i have a small problem i have xome xml with a cdata section. This CDATA section contains fragments of HTMl. I would like to extract some of the data inside this CDATA element. Right now i have a XSLT transformation that outputs the rest of the document as HTMl, but i need only a small part of the CDATA HTML, not the entire part - e.g. a my Title tag. How to do this?
