  • Using XmlSerializer deserialize complex type elements are null

    - by Jean Bastos
    I have the following schema: <?xml version="1.0"?> <xsd:schema xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:tipos="http://www.ginfes.com.br/tipos_v03.xsd" targetNamespace="http://www.ginfes.com.br/servico_consultar_situacao_lote_rps_resposta_v03.xsd" xmlns="http://www.ginfes.com.br/servico_consultar_situacao_lote_rps_resposta_v03.xsd" attributeFormDefault="unqualified" elementFormDefault="qualified"> <xsd:import schemaLocation="tipos_v03.xsd" namespace="http://www.ginfes.com.br/tipos_v03.xsd" /> <xsd:element name="ConsultarSituacaoLoteRpsResposta"> <xsd:complexType> <xsd:choice> <xsd:sequence> <xsd:element name="NumeroLote" type="tipos:tsNumeroLote" minOccurs="1" maxOccurs="1"/> <xsd:element name="Situacao" type="tipos:tsSituacaoLoteRps" minOccurs="1" maxOccurs="1"/> </xsd:sequence> <xsd:element ref="tipos:ListaMensagemRetorno" minOccurs="1" maxOccurs="1"/> </xsd:choice> </xsd:complexType> </xsd:element> </xsd:schema> and the following class: [System.CodeDom.Compiler.GeneratedCodeAttribute("xsd", "2.0.50727.3038")] [System.SerializableAttribute()] [System.Diagnostics.DebuggerStepThroughAttribute()] [System.ComponentModel.DesignerCategoryAttribute("code")] [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlTypeAttribute(AnonymousType = true, Namespace = "http://www.ginfes.com.br/servico_consultar_situacao_lote_rps_envio_v03.xsd")] [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlRootAttribute(Namespace = "http://www.ginfes.com.br/servico_consultar_situacao_lote_rps_envio_v03.xsd", IsNullable = false)] public partial class ConsultarSituacaoLoteRpsEnvio { [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlElementAttribute(Order = 0)] public tcIdentificacaoPrestador Prestador { get; set; } [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlElementAttribute(Order = 1)] public string Protocolo { get; set; } } Use the following code to deserialize the object: XmlSerializer respSerializer = new XmlSerializer(typeof(ConsultarSituacaoLoteRpsResposta)); StringReader reader = new StringReader(resp); ConsultarSituacaoLoteRpsResposta respModel = (ConsultarSituacaoLoteRpsResposta)respSerializer.Deserialize(reader); does not occur any error but the properties of objects are null, anyone know what is happening?

  • Quering XElements for children with children attributes.

    - by Arnej65
    Here is the XML outline: <Root> <Thing att="11"> <Child lang="e"> <record></record> <record></record> <record></record> </Child > <Child lang="f"> <record></record> <record></record> <record></record> </Child > </Thing> </Root> I have the following: TextReader reader = new StreamReader(Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly() .GetManifestResourceStream(FileName)); var data = XElement.Load(reader); foreach (XElement single in Data.Elements()) { // english records var EnglishSet = (from e in single.Elements("Child") where e.Attribute("lang").Equals("e") select e.Value).FirstOrDefault(); } But I'm getting back nothing. I want to be able to for Each "Thing" select the "Child" where the attribute "lang" equals a value. I have also tried this, which has not worked. var FrenchSet = single.Elements("Child") .Where(y => y.Attribute("lang").Equals("f")) .Select(x => x.Value).FirstOrDefault();

  • How can I get at the raw bytes of the request in WCF?

    - by Gregory Higley
    For logging purposes, I want to get at the raw request sent to my RESTful web service implemented in WCF. I have already implemented IDispatchMessageInspector. In my implementation of AfterReceiveRequest, I want to spit out the raw bytes of the message even (and especially) if the content of the message is invalid. This is for debugging purposes. My service works perfectly already, but it is often helpful when working through problems with clients who are trying to call the service to know what it was they sent, i.e., the raw bytes. For example, let's say that instead of sending a well-formed XML document, they post the string "your mama" to my service endpoint. I want to see that that's what they did. Unfortunately using MessageBuffer::CreateBufferedCopy() won't work unless the contents of the message are already well-formed XML. Here's (roughly) what I already have in my implementation of AfterReceiveRequest: // The immediately following line raises an exception if the message // does not contain valid XML. This is uncool because I want // the raw bytes regardless of whether they are valid or not. using (MessageBuffer buffer = request.CreateBufferedCopy(Int32.MaxValue)) { using (MemoryStream stream = new MemoryStream()) using (StreamReader reader = new StreamReader(stream)) { buffer.WriteMessage(stream); stream.Position = 0; Trace.TraceInformation(reader.ReadToEnd()); } request = buffer.CreateMessage(); } My guess here is that I need to get at the raw request before it becomes a Message. This will most likely have to be done at a lower level in the WCF stack than an IDispatchMessageInspector. Anyone know how to do this?

  • Why does the OnDeserialization not fire for XML Deserialization?

    - by Jonathan
    I have a problem which I have been bashing my head against for the better part of three hours. I am almost certain that I've missed something blindingly obvious... I have a simple XML file: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <WeightStore xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"> <Records> <Record actual="150" date="2010-05-01T00:00:00" /> <Record actual="155" date="2010-05-02T00:00:00" /> </Records> </WeightStore> I have a simple class structure: [Serializable] public class Record { [XmlAttribute("actual")] public double weight { get; set; } [XmlAttribute("date")] public DateTime date { get; set; } [XmlIgnore] public double trend { get; set; } } [Serializable] [XmlRoot("WeightStore")] public class SimpleWeightStore { [XmlArrayAttribute("Records")] private List<Record> records = new List<Record>(); public List<Record> Records { get { return records; } } [OnDeserialized()] public void OnDeserialized_Method(StreamingContext context) { // This code never gets called Console.WriteLine("OnDeserialized"); } } I am using these in both calling code and in the class files: using System.Xml.Serialization; using System.Runtime.Serialization; I have some calling code: SimpleWeightStore weight_store_reload = new SimpleWeightStore(); TextReader reader = new StringReader(xml); XmlSerializer deserializer = new XmlSerializer(weight_store.GetType()); weight_store_reload = (SimpleWeightStore)deserializer.Deserialize(reader); The problem is that I am expecting OnDeserialized_Method to get called, and it isn't. I suspect it might have something to do with the fact that it's XML deserialization rather than Runtime deserialization, and perhaps I am using the wrong attribute name, but I can't find out what it might be. Any ideas, folks?

  • XMLStreamReader and a real stream

    - by Yuri Ushakov
    Update There is no ready XML parser in Java community which can do NIO and XML parsing. This is the closest I found, and it's incomplete: http://wiki.fasterxml.com/AaltoHome I have the following code: InputStream input = ...; XMLInputFactory xmlInputFactory = XMLInputFactory.newInstance(); XMLStreamReader streamReader = xmlInputFactory.createXMLStreamReader(input, "UTF-8"); Question is, why does the method #createXMLStreamReader() expects to have an entire XML document in the input stream? Why is it called a "stream reader", if it can't seem to process a portion of XML data? For example, if I feed: <root> <child> to it, it would tell me I'm missing the closing tags. Even before I begin iterating the stream reader itself. I suspect that I just don't know how to use a XMLStreamReader properly. I should be able to supply it with data by pieces, right? I need it because I'm processing a XML stream coming in from network socket, and don't want to load the whole source text into memory. Thank you for help, Yuri.

  • Java Reflection, java.lang.IllegalAccessException Error

    - by rubby
    Hi all, My goal is : Third class will read the name of the class as String from console.Upon reading the name of the class, it will automatically and dynamically (!) generate that class and call its writeout method. If that class is not read from input, it will not be initialized. And I am taking java.lang.IllegalAccessException: Class deneme.class3 can not access a member of class java.lang.Object with modifiers "protected" error. And i don't know how i can fix it.. Can anyone help me? import java.io.*; import java.lang.reflect.*; class class3 { public void run() { try { BufferedReader reader= new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(System.in)); String line=reader.readLine(); Class c1 = Class.forName("java.lang.String"); Object obj = new Object(); Class c2 = obj.getClass(); Method writeout = null; for( Method mth : c2.getDeclaredMethods() ) { writeout = mth; break; } Object o = c2.newInstance(); writeout.invoke( o ); } catch(Exception ee) { System.out.println("ERROR! "+ee); } } public void writeout3() { System.out.println("class3"); } } class class4 { public void writeout4() { System.out.println("class4"); } } class ornek { public static void main(String[] args) { System.out.println("Please Enter Name of Class : "); class3 example = new class3(); example.run(); } }

  • Understanding F# Asynchronous Programming

    - by Yin Zhu
    I kind of know the syntax of asynchronous programming in F#. E.g. let downloadUrl(url:string) = async { let req = HttpWebRequest.Create(url) // Run operation asynchronously let! resp = req.AsyncGetResponse() let stream = resp.GetResponseStream() // Dispose 'StreamReader' when completed use reader = new StreamReader(stream) // Run asynchronously and then return the result return! reader.AsyncReadToEnd() } In F# expert book (and many other sources), they say like let! var = expr simply means "perform the asynchronous operation expr and bind the result to var when the operation completes. Then continue by executing the rest of the computation body" I also know that a new thread is created when performing async operation. My original understanding was that there are two parallel threads after the async operation, one doing I/O and one continuing to execute the async body at the same time. But in this example, I am confused at let! resp = req.AsyncGetResponse() let stream = resp.GetResponseStream() What happens if resp has not started yet and the thread in the async body wants to GetResponseStream? Is this a possible error? So maybe my original understanding was wrong. The quoted sentences in the F# expert book actually means that "creating a new thread, hang the current thread up, when the new thread finishes, wake up the body thread and continue", but in this case I don't see we could save any time. In the original understanding, the time is saved when there are several independent IO operations in one async block so that they could be done at the same time without intervention with each other. But here, if I don't get the response, I cannot create the stream; only I have stream, I can start reading the stream. Where's the time gained?

  • Card emulation via software NFC

    - by user85030
    After reading a lot of questions, i decided to post this one. I read that stock version of android does not support API's for card emulation. Also, we cannot write custom applications to secure element embedded in nfc controllers due to keys managed by google/samsung. I need to emulate a card (mifare or desfire etc). The option i can see is doing it via software. I have a ACR122U reader and i've tested that NFC P2P mode works fine with the Nexus-S that i have. 1) I came across a site that said that nexus s's NFC controller (pn532) can emulate a mifare 4k card. If this is true, can i write/read apdu commands to this emulated card? (Probably if i use a modded rom like cyanogenmod) 2) Can i write a android application that reads apdu commands sent from the reader and generate appropriate responses (if not fully, then upto some extent only). To do so, i searched that we need to patch nexus s with cynagenmod. Has someone tried emulating card via this method? I see that this is possible since we have products from access control companies offering mobile applications via which one can open doors e.g. http://www.assaabloy.com/en/com/Products/seos-mobile-access/

  • Android: Cannot get the httpPost params but can get the httpGet from php

    - by jjLin
    Here is my android code to send request: // defaultHttpClient DefaultHttpClient httpClient = new DefaultHttpClient(); HttpPost httpPost = new HttpPost(serverUrl); List<NameValuePair> params = new ArrayList<NameValuePair>(); params.add(new BasicNameValuePair("abc", "abc2")); httpPost.setEntity(new UrlEncodedFormEntity(params)); HttpResponse httpResponse = httpClient.execute(httpPost); HttpEntity httpEntity = httpResponse.getEntity(); InputStream is = null; is = httpEntity.getContent(); BufferedReader reader = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader( is, "UTF-8"), 8); StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder(); String line = null; while ((line = reader.readLine()) != null) { sb.append(line + "\n"); } is.close(); String json = ""; json = sb.toString(); Log.d("JSON", "JSON is:" + json); and here is my php code to get the request: <?php echo $_POST['abc']; ?> When I run the application, the string json is nothing. I expect to get JSON is:abc2 Then I change the some code, in android part: HttpPost httpPost = new HttpPost(serverUrl); change to: HttpPost httpPost = new HttpPost(serverUrl + "?abc=abc3"); in php part: <?php echo $_GET['abc']; ?> This time, the string json in logcat is JSON is:abc3. It is correct!! I have tried lots of time, but seems cannot send HttpPost request with params. Any one can help me to find out what wrongs with my code??

  • Java split giving opposite order of arabic characters

    - by MuhammadA
    I am splitting the following string using \\| in java (android) using the IntelliJ 12 IDE. Everything is fine except the last part, somehow the split picks them up in the opposite order : As you can see the real positioning 34,35,36 is correct and according to the string, but when it gets picked out into split part no 5 its in the wrong order, 36,35,34 ... Any way I can get them to be in the right order? My Code: public ArrayList<Book> getBooksFromDatFile(Context context, String fileName) { ArrayList<Book> books = new ArrayList<Book>(); try { // load csv from assets InputStream is = context.getAssets().open(fileName); try { BufferedReader reader = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(is)); String line; while ((line = reader.readLine()) != null) { String[] RowData = line.split("\\|"); books.add(new Book(RowData[0], RowData[1], RowData[2], RowData[3], RowData[4], RowData[5])); } } catch (IOException ex) { Log.e(TAG, "Error parsing csv file!"); } finally { try { is.close(); } catch (IOException e) { Log.e(TAG, "Error closing input stream!"); } } } catch (IOException ex) { Log.e(TAG, "Error reading .dat file from assets!"); } return books; }

  • Newb Question: passing objects in java?

    - by Adam Outler
    Hello, I am new at java. I am doing the following: Read from file, then put data into a variable. checkToken = lineToken.nextToken(); processlinetoken() } But then when I try to process it... public static void readFile(String fromFile) throws IOException { BufferedReader reader = new BufferedReader(new FileReader(fromFile)); String line = null; while ((line=reader.readLine()) != null ) { if (line.length() >= 2) { StringTokenizer lineToken = new StringTokenizer (line); checkToken = lineToken.nextToken(); processlinetoken() ...... But here's where I come into a problem. public static void processlinetoken() checkToken=lineToken.nextToken(); } it fails out. Exception in thread "main" java.lang.Error: Unresolved compilation problem: The method nextToken() is undefined for the type String at testread.getEngineLoad(testread.java:243) at testread.readFile(testread.java:149) at testread.main(testread.java:119) so how do I get this to work? It seems to pass the variable, but nothing after the . works.

  • Convert XML to DataSet with rows

    - by lidermin
    Hi, I have an xml file like this: <result> <customer> <id>1</id> <name>A</name> </customer> <customer> <id>2</id> <name>B</name> </customer> </result> So I need that data filled on a DataSet, here is my code: var reader = new StringReader(xmldoc.InnerXml); dsDatos.ReadXml(reader); The problem is that it's filling the dataset with two Tables each one with a single row. But I need a single Table with the two rows. What am I doing wrong? PD: I'm using C# and I don't want to iterate through the XML file, I want to use the ReadXml method. Thanks for your time.

  • Atomic int writes on file

    - by Waneck
    Hello! I'm writing an application that will have to be able to handle many concurrent accesses to it, either by threads as by processes. So no mutex'es or locks should be applied to this. To make the use of locks go down to a minimum, I'm designing for the file to be "append-only", so all data is first appended to disk, and then the address pointing to the info it has updated, is changed to refer to the new one. So I will need to implement a small lock system only to change this one int so it refers to the new address. How is the best way to do it? I was thinking about maybe putting a flag before the address, that when it's set, the readers will use a spin lock until it's released. But I'm afraid that it isn't at all atomic, is it? e.g. a reader reads the flag, and it is unset on the same time, a writer writes the flag and changes the value of the int the reader may read an inconsistent value! I'm looking for locking techniques but all I find is either for thread locking techniques, or to lock an entire file, not fields. Is it not possible to do this? How do append-only databases handle this? Thanks! Cauê

  • How do I create a python module from a fortran program with f2py?

    - by Lars Hellemo
    I am trying to read some smps files with python, and found a fortran implementation, so I thought I would give f2py a shot. The problem is that I have no experience with fortran. I have successfully installed gfortran and f2py on my Linux box and ran the example on thew f2py page, but I have some trouble compiling and running the large program. There are two files, one with a file reader wrapper and one with all the logic. They seem to call each other, but when I compile and link or try f2py, I get errors that they somehow can't find each other: f95 -c FILEWR~1.F f95 -c SMPSREAD.F90 f95 -o smpsread SMPSREAD.o FILEWR~1.o FILEWR~1.o In function `file_wrapper_' FILEWR~1.F(.text+0x3d) undefined reference to `chopen_' usrlibgcci486-linux-gnu4.4.1libgfortranbegin.a(fmain.o) In function `main' (.text+0x27) undefined reference to `MAIN__' collect2 ld returned 1 exit status I also tried changing the name to FILE_WRAPPER.F but that did not help. With f2py I found out I had to include a comment to get it to accept free format, and saved this as a new file and tried: f2py -c -m smpsread smpsread.f90 I get a lot of output and warnings, but the error seems to be this one: getctype: No C-type found in "{'typespec': 'type', 'attrspec': ['allocatable'], 'typename': 'node', 'dimension': [':']}", assuming void. The fortran 90 spms reader can be found here. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Here's the html code of the forumlar: <form action="http://www.site.com/login.php" method="post" name="login" id="login"> <table border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0"> <tbody> <tr><td><b>User:</b></td><td colspan=\"2\"><b>Passwort:</b></td></tr> <tr> <td><input class="inputbg" name="user" type="text"></td> <td><input class="inputbg" name="password" type="password"></td> <td><input type="submit" name="user_control" value="Eingabe" class="buttonbg" ></td> </tr> </tbody></table></form> I actually tried it like this: HttpWebRequest request = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create("http://www.site.com/login.php"); request.Method = "POST"; using (StreamWriter writer = new StreamWriter(request.GetRequestStream(), Encoding.ASCII)) { writer.Write("user=user&password=pass&user_control=Eingabe"); } HttpWebResponse response = (HttpWebResponse)request.GetResponse(); using (StreamReader reader = new StreamReader(response.GetResponseStream())) { stream = new StreamWriter("login.html"); stream.Write(reader.ReadToEnd()); stream.Close(); } But this is not working. Any Ideas, why this is failing?

  • Getting table schema from a query

    - by Appu
    As per MSDN, SqlDataReader.GetSchemaTable returns column metadata for the query executed. I am wondering is there a similar method that will give table metadata for the given query? I mean what tables are involved and what aliases it has got. In my application, I get the query and I need to append the where clause programically. Using GetSchemaTable(), I can get the column metadata and the table it belongs to. But even though table has aliases, it still return the real table name. Is there a way to get the aliase name for that table? Following code shows getting the column metadata. const string connectionString = "your_connection_string"; string sql = "select c.id as s,c.firstname from contact as c"; using(SqlConnection connection = new SqlConnection(connectionString)) using(SqlCommand command = new SqlCommand(sql, connection)) { connection.Open(); SqlDataReader reader = command.ExecuteReader(CommandBehavior.KeyInfo); DataTable schema = reader.GetSchemaTable(); foreach (DataRow row in schema.Rows) { foreach (DataColumn column in schema.Columns) { Console.WriteLine(column.ColumnName + " = " + row[column]); } Console.WriteLine("----------------------------------------"); } Console.Read(); } This will give me details of columns correctly. But when I see BaseTableName for column Id, it is giving contact rather than the alias name c. Is there any way to get the table schema and aliases from a query like the above? Any help would be great!

  • .net real time stream processing - needed huge and fast RAM buffer

    - by mack369
    The application I'm developing communicates with an digital audio device, which is capable of sending 24 different voice streams at the same time. The device is connected via USB, using FTDI device (serial port emulator) and D2XX Drivers (basic COM driver is to slow to handle transfer of 4.5Mbit). Basically the application consist of 3 threads: Main thread - GUI, control, ect. Bus reader - in this thread data is continuously read from the device and saved to a file buffer (there is no logic in this thread) Data interpreter - this thread reads the data from file buffer, converts to samples, does simple sample processing and saves the samples to separate wav files. The reason why I used file buffer is that I wanted to be sure that I won't loose any samples. The application doesn't use recording all the time, so I've chosen this solution because it was safe. The application works fine, except that buffered wave file generator is pretty slow. For 24 parallel records of 1 minute, it takes about 4 minutes to complete the recording. I'm pretty sure that eliminating the use of hard drive in this process will increase the speed much. The second problem is that the file buffer is really heavy for long records and I can't clean this up until the end of data processing (it would slow down the process even more). For RAM buffer I need at lest 1GB to make it work properly. What is the best way to allocate such a big amount of memory in .NET? I'm going to use this memory in 2 threads so a fast synchronization mechanism needed. I'm thinking about a cycle buffer: one big array, the Bus Reader saves the data, the Data Interpreter reads it. What do you think about it? [edit] Now for buffering I'm using classes BinaryReader and BinaryWriter based on a file.

  • Is it possible to prevent out-of-order execution by using single volatile

    - by Yan Cheng CHEOK
    By referring article, it is using a pair of volatile to prevent out-of-order execution. I was wondering, is it possible to prevent it using single volatile? void fun_by_thread_1() { this.isNuclearFactory = true; this.factory = new NuclearFactory(); } void fun_by_thread_2() { Factory _factory = this.factory; if (this.isNuclearFactory) { // Do not operate nuclear factory!!! return; } // If out-of-order execution happens, _factory might // be NuclearFactory instance. _factory.operate(); } Factory factory = new FoodFactory(); volatile boolean isNuclearFactory = false; The reason I ask, is because I have a single guard flag (similar to isNuclearFactory flag), to guard against multiple variables (similar to many Factory). I do not wish to mark all the Factory as volatile. Or, shall I fall into the following solution? void fun_by_thread_1() { try { writer.lock(); this.isNuclearFactory = true; this.factory = new NuclearFactory(); } finally { writer.unlock(); } } void fun_by_thread_2() { try { reader.lock(); Factory _factory = this.factory; if (this.isNuclearFactory) { // Do not operate nuclear factory!!! return; } } finally { reader.unlock(); } _factory.operate(); } Factory factory = new FoodFactory(); boolean isNuclearFactory = false; P/S: I know instanceof. Factory is just an example to demonstrate of out-of-order problem.

    package reflection; import java.io.*; import java.lang.reflect.*; class class0 { public void writeout0() { System.out.println("class0"); } } class class1 { public void writeout1() { System.out.println("class1"); } } class class2 { public void writeout2() { System.out.println("class2"); } } class class3 { public void run() { try { BufferedReader reader= new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader (System.in)); String line=reader.readLine(); Class cls=Class.forName(line); //define method here } catch(Exception ee) { System.out.println("here "+ee); } } public void writeout3() { System.out.println("class3"); } } class class4 { public void writeout4() { System.out.println("class4"); } } class class5 { public void writeout5() { System.out.println("class5"); } } class class6 { public void writeout6() { System.out.println("class6"); } } class class7 { public void writeout7() { System.out.println("class7"); } } class class8 { public void writeout8() { System.out.println("class8"); } } class class9 { public void writeout9() { System.out.println("class9"); } } class testclass { public static void main(String[] args) { System.out.println("Write class name : "); class3 example=new class3(); example.run(); } } Question is ; third class will read the name of the class as String from console. Upon reading the name of the class, it will automatically and dynamically generate that class and call its writeout method.If that class is not read from input, it will not be initialized. but I can't continue any more ; i need to more something for 3.class, what can i do? Thanks;

  • Parsing XML in C# from stream

    - by Phillip
    I've tried several methods, from Linq to loading the data to an XML document, but i can't seem to be able to return the result that i need. here's the example XML: <serv:message xmlns:serv="http://www.webex.com/schemas/2002/06/service" xmlns:com="http://www.webex.com/schemas/2002/06/common" xmlns:event="http://www.webex.com/schemas/2002/06/service/event"><serv:header><serv:response><serv:result>SUCCESS</serv:result><serv:gsbStatus>PRIMARY</serv:gsbStatus></serv:response></serv:header><serv:body><serv:bodyContent xsi:type="event:createEventResponse" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"><event:sessionKey>11111111</event:sessionKey><event:guestToken>111111111111111111111</event:guestToken></serv:bodyContent></serv:body></serv:message> And, here's what i've tried to do: StreamReader reader = new StreamReader(dataStream); XmlDocument doc = new XmlDocument(); doc.LoadXml(reader.ReadToEnd()); XmlNamespaceManager ns = new XmlNamespaceManager(doc.NameTable); XmlNamespaceManager ns2 = new XmlNamespaceManager(doc.NameTable); XmlNamespaceManager ns3 = new XmlNamespaceManager(doc.NameTable); ns.AddNamespace("serv", "http://www.webex.com/schemas/2002/06/service"); ns2.AddNamespace("com", "http://www.webex.com/schemas/2002/06/common"); ns3.AddNamespace("event", "http://www.webex.com/schemas/2002/06/service/event"); XmlNode node = doc.SelectSingleNode("result",ns); Yet, for some reason i cannot ever seem to return the actual result, which should be either 'SUCCESS' or 'FAILURE' based on the actual xml above. How can i do this?

  • Convert InputStream to String with encoding given in stream data

    - by Quentin
    Hi, My input is a InputStream which contains an XML document. Encoding used in XML is unknown and it is defined in the first line of XML document. From this InputStream, I want to have all document in a String. To do this, I use a BufferedInputStream to mark the beginning of the file and start reading first line. I read this first line to get encoding and then I use an InputStreamReader to generate a String with the correct encoding. It seems that it is not the best way to achieve this goal because it produces an OutOfMemory error. Any idea, how to do it ? public static String streamToString(final InputStream is) { String result = null; if (is != null) { BufferedInputStream bis = new BufferedInputStream(is); bis.mark(Integer.MAX_VALUE); final StringBuilder stringBuilder = new StringBuilder(); try { // stream reader that handle encoding final InputStreamReader readerForEncoding = new InputStreamReader(bis, "UTF-8"); final BufferedReader bufferedReaderForEncoding = new BufferedReader(readerForEncoding); String encoding = extractEncodingFromStream(bufferedReaderForEncoding); if (encoding == null) { encoding = DEFAULT_ENCODING; } // stream reader that handle encoding bis.reset(); final InputStreamReader readerForContent = new InputStreamReader(bis, encoding); final BufferedReader bufferedReaderForContent = new BufferedReader(readerForContent); String line = bufferedReaderForContent.readLine(); while (line != null) { stringBuilder.append(line); line = bufferedReaderForContent.readLine(); } bufferedReaderForContent.close(); bufferedReaderForEncoding.close(); } catch (IOException e) { // reset string builder stringBuilder.delete(0, stringBuilder.length()); } result = stringBuilder.toString(); }else { result = null; } return result; } Regards, Quentin

  • Read specific line from text file, according to Checked Listbox selection number.

    - by Manolis
    Heya, i want to create an application which will read a specific line from a text file and show it in a textbox. The line will be chosen according to the number of the listbox selection i will make. Here's the code: Public Class Form1 Private Sub Form1_Load(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load End Sub Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click Dim i As Integer For i = 0 To Me.CheckedListBox1.CheckedIndices.Count - 1 Me.CheckedListBox1.SetItemChecked(Me.CheckedListBox1.CheckedIndices(0),False) Next i End Sub Private Sub Button2_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button2.Click If CheckedListBox1.CheckedItems.Count <> 0 Then Dim reader As New System.IO.StreamReader(CurDir() & "\" & "READ.txt") Dim x As Integer Dim s As String = "" For x = 0 To CheckedListBox1.CheckedItems.Count - 1 s = s & "Answer " & (x + 1).ToString & ") " & CheckedListBox1.CheckedItems(x).ToString & ControlChars.CrLf & reader.ReadLine() & ControlChars.CrLf & ControlChars.CrLf Next x Answer.Text = (s) Else MessageBox.Show("Please select questions.", "Error", _ MessageBoxButtons.OK, _ MessageBoxIcon.Information) Return End If End Sub End Class So lets say i 'check' the first, second, and fifth items from the checked listbox, i want it to read from the text file the first, second, and fifth lines of text and show them in the textbox. The current code just reads line 1, 2, 3 (...) in order, no matter what item i have 'checked'. Thanks in advance!

  • Dynamically class creating by using Java Reflection, java.lang.ClassNotFoundException

    - by rubby
    Hi all; i want to use reflection in java, i want to do that third class will read the name of the class as String from console. Upon reading the name of the class, it will automatically and dynamically (!) generate that class and call its writeout method. If that class is not read from input, it will not be initialized. I wrote that codes but i am always taking to "java.lang.Class.Not.Found.Exception", and i don't know how i can fix it. Can anyone help me? class class3 { public Object dynamicsinif(String className, String fieldName, String value) throws Exception { Class cls = Class.forName(className,true,null); Object obj = cls.newInstance(); Field fld = cls.getField(fieldName); fld.set(obj, value); return obj; } public void writeout3() { System.out.println("class3"); } } public class Main { public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception { System.out.println("enter the class name : "); BufferedReader reader= new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(System.in)); String line=reader.readLine(); String x="Text1"; try{ class3 trycls=new class3(); Object gelen=trycls.dynamicsinif(line, x, "rubby"); Class yeni=(Class)gelen; System.out.println(yeni); }catch(ClassNotFoundException ex){ System.out.print(ex.toString()); } } }

  • Fails proceeding after POSTing to web server

    - by OverTheRainbow
    Hello According to this question, it seems like the error "Too many automatic redirections were attempted" is caused when forgetting to use a cookiecontainer to connect to a web server that uses cookies to keep track of the user. However, even though I used "request.CookieContainer = MyCookieContainer", I'm still getting into an endless loop that is terminated by VB Express with this error message. Imports System.IO Imports System.Net 'Remember to add reference to System.Web DLL Imports System.Web Imports System.Text Public Class Form1 Const ConnectURL = "http://www.acme.com/logon.php" Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click Dim request As HttpWebRequest = WebRequest.Create(ConnectURL) 'Build POST data request.Method = "POST" request.ContentType = "application/x-www-form-urlencoded" Dim Data As New StringBuilder Data.Append("Account=" + HttpUtility.UrlEncode("jdoe")) Data.Append("&Password=" + HttpUtility.UrlEncode("test")) Dim byteData() As Byte byteData = UTF8Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(Data.ToString()) request.ContentLength = byteData.Length Dim postStream As Stream = Nothing Try postStream = request.GetRequestStream() postStream.Write(byteData, 0, byteData.Length) Finally If Not postStream Is Nothing Then postStream.Close() End Try 'Dim MyCookieContainer As New CookieContainer Dim MyCookieContainer As CookieContainer = New CookieContainer() request.CookieContainer = MyCookieContainer 'Makes no difference 'request.KeepAlive = True 'request.AllowAutoRedirect = True Dim response As HttpWebResponse 'HERE '"Too many automatic redirections were attempted" response = request.GetResponse() Dim reader As StreamReader = New StreamReader(response.GetResponseStream()) RichTextBox1.Text = reader.ReadToEnd End Sub End Class This is probably a newbie issue, but I don't know what else to try. Any idea? Thank you for any hint.
