  • Multiple email accounts in a single personal folder in Outlook 2007

    I have an account with on Yahoo! Mail, another on Gmail. In Outlook 2007, I've set them up so that I can access them without having to go to their websites. I've password protected my personal folder, but can't find a way to merge my accounts into one personal folder. When I want to switch between my accounts, I must type my password again. Besides that, I can't check for new mail messages in both accounts at the same time. How do I merge multiple email accounts into one single personal folder on Outlook 2007?

  • Wifi not working after a few minutes

    I'm using a few MacBooks and iPads connected to a router via WiFi. The problem is that a few minutes after they connect via WiFi the connection stops working. This happens on all devices. I went into the router settings by connecting via cable and everything seems in order. Connecting a laptop via cable to the router I can use internet as normal, the problem is only with WiFi. What can be the problem here?     I installed Snow Leopard on my Macbook Pro. I then installed Windows 7 in a Boot Camp partition. Then using Windows 7's disk management console, I resized my Windows 7partition and created a 3rd NTFS partition for data, intending for both Windows 7 and Snow Leopard to read/write this partition. I installed MacFuse and NTFS-3G in Snow Leopard, but Snow Leopard still shows I have a single Windows 7 partition. How can I get Snow Leopard to recognize my third partition?

  • When tab groups are loaded, Firefox becomes unresponsible for minutes (Unresponsive script)

    I have several tab groups (~ 20) in Firefox. I can start the browser without any problems. However, as soon as I … click at the "Group tabs" icon in the toolbar, or right-click on a tab and hover over "Move to tab group", … Firefox becomes unresponsible/freezes for a rather long time (more than 2 minutes). It seems to load all tab groups (it doesn't load all the pages! I deactivated this in the settings). Is there maybe a about:config setting I could try? I started Firefox in Safe Mode (= without any add-ons): the problem still exists.

But when I was installing Windows 7 x64 for two times I got a BSOD, and a error message like this: Your PC has rebooted unexpectly, installation will continue after reboot. I have checked everything and tried to install once more time. It was almost successful, Windows had installed, but I cannot format my disk, open cmd or control panel, boot from DVD etc. It's the first time I have assembled a PC, and I don't know where the problem is, in my hardware or in Windows. My components: MSI z77a-g43 Intel i5 3570k Seagate Barracuda (plug into sata3 slot 6 Gb, there I have also sata 3 Gb slot) Corsair XMS3 (4x4Gb) HIS IceQ Also in the BIOS, I have changed RAM frequency to DDR3 1600 and voltage to 1.65v

  • How to connect to a SOCKS Proxy from an iPhone/iPod Touch?

    I like to surf securely and privately via a SOCKS proxy which I created via SSH tunneling, on the Mac. I used the SSH client on my Mac to achieve this. Then I thought, since the iPhone OS is essentially Mac OS, the same trick might work also on the iPhone. I managed to create a SSh tunnel on my iPhone via the Terminal (iPhone's Terminal). (Yes, it's jail-broken) ssh -D [port] [email protected] At this stage my iPhone is SOCKS proxy. However, there doesn't seem to be a way in the iPhone networking preference panel to specify a SOCKS proxy. Someone suggest creating a Proxy Auto-Contig (PAC) file to workaround this, but that sounds complicated. Any ideas how to make iPhone use it's own SOCKS proxy?

    When you are watching a screen sharing session commanded by the other user, in other words, you are watching the other user doing stuff in his computer, how do I switch back to my computer without disrupting the other user by stealing the mouse to click on the "My Computer" window? Put simply: To go back to my computer I have to click in the "My computer" little window at the bottom, but that requires me to use the mouse which is being used by the other user. There must be a way to use a keyboard shortcut to perform that action without bothering the other user who is using the mouse to do something important. Anyone? Thanks, -Sergio

    Hi, I was wondering if there's a way to get a word count that excludes text with a specific Style in a Microsoft Word 2007 document? I've seen this related question, but I've got blocks of source code scattered throughout which would mean I'd have to go through each of my documents a section at a time..   • IOGEAR GCS632U KVM casues Windows 7 Screensaver to not work

    When my Windows 7 laptop is in its dock and connected to the IOGEAR GCS632U KVM switch the screensaver will not start. If connected directly to the mouse and keyboard while in the dock the screensaver starts normally. The screensaver also works when out of the dock. I need the screensaver to work when connected to the KVM. What's causing the screensaver not to start? Suggestions on how to remedy the problem?

  • BIOS flash XP, 1 long beep, 2 short beeps, over&over

    BIOS issue on HP dv9233cl laptop, wiped drive of Vista, loaded XP, not all the drives loaded. Went to the HP website, downloaded all drivers for this laptop. Started loading them. Loaded WIN Flash HP Network System BIOS Window SP42187. After a minute a low resolution screen appeared stating "It is now safe to turn off the computer" I waited a minute and half. Turned it off. Let it set 10 seconds try to start and No screen images at all and a nasty loud long beep 2 short beeps, 2 seconds of silence and it happens over & over again. I have unplugged/removed battery, still same problem, Any sugg.... Thx.. Paul

  • Outlook close to tray

    Ok, I'm stuck using outlook in the office (but they let me use 2010 betas which are awsome, btw) and one thing I'll allways rant about outlook in any version is that when I press the X button it goes away. I mean, I know the X button is supposed to close the app, it's the standard and all that, but email is (sadly) very critical, as well as meeting requests and reminders, outlook should not be closed so freaking easily. I mean, Live Messenger is not so critical but it has this feature built in and on by default. Is there a way to close outlook to the tray, addons, vba, settings, reghack, anything? I know there is minimize to tray and I've been searching the web but could not find anything usefull.

  • SATA vs SATA-II

    Hi all, I'm looking to replace my hard disk, which is a Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST3500320AS 500GB. My friend told me to get a SATA HDD, not a SATA-II. What is the difference between the two? And is my old HDD a SATA or SATA-II? The new HDD I'm looking at is a Seagate 7200.12 ST3500418AS, which the store assistant told me is a SATA-II. However, the Seagate website labels both as SATA only. I'm afraid that I'll buy a HDD which is incompatible with my system, especially since I'm going to install Windows 7 on it and I previously had the problem of Windows (Vista) setup not recognizing my hard drive.   • bad pool header 0x00000019 in windows 7 home premium when connecting to net followed by BSOD.

    Hi, I am have random blue screen errors with an error code of bad pool header 0x00000019 whenever I try going online. I use a usb datacard/modem but when I try logging in using a regular dsl/broadband connection, I have the same issue. I had searched the query in windows knowledge base which said it is an issue with windows 7 and have provided a hot fix which they do not gaurentee. My vendor says something is wrong with my ram and has ordered for a new set of ram, but in my opinion if it was a ram related issue, the crashes should have occured even while playing games which are supposed to be ram intensive...If you need the mini dumps I can provide you the same..Kindly revert back..

  • How to install Windows 7 onto software RAID-0

    I recently got a new laptop (Asus G73JH-A2) which has two identical hard drives in it. Unfortunately the motherboard does not have a RAID controller. What I would like to do is run the drives in a RAID-0 configuration to improve performance (plus get the extra capacity on one partition). I would like Windows installed onto the striped volume (RAID 0). I have spent some time using diskpart to create a striped volume across the two drives, however when I go to install windows and select the volume it will not let me select 'Next' giving the error "Windows cannot be installed to this hard disk space. The partition contains one or more dynamic volumes that are not supported for installation." I'm hoping theres a step that I am missing that will allow me to install windows on a striped volume. Any ideas?

  • Fixing windows MBR without Vista Recovery CD

    I had Windows Vista + Ubuntu running on my system. I deleted the ubuntu partitions from Windows. However, when I start the system, GRUB throws up an Error 22 (missing partition) and does not let me boot into Windows. The CD ROM on my laptop is fried and therefore I tried installing Ubuntu again using a USB install. However, the version Ubuntu 9.10 justs hangs in the load screen and does nothing. I do not have windows Vista Recovery CD (as it was a recovery partition in my laptop). What are the options I have? How do I fix this?
