  Hi all iMac 24" Late 2006 Mac OS X (10.6.3) I'm trying to install Bootcamp. I've partitioned my HD but when I reboot with the Windows installation disk I get a black (blank) screen. The advice from the Apple Support website is to install the MXM Update but when I run that as per the instructions I get this error: An unexpected error occurred (11.1). Your firmware cannot be updated. Any ideas on how to proceed? Thanks.

IE9 Setup requires and offers to close these programs due to overlapping files used. Firefox Chrome Java(TM) Platform SE binary Java(TM) update scheduler Skype, Trillian, Winamp, etc. How safe is this? I fear getting yet another MS Firefox add-on or toolbar.

  My Skype client has been updated to the latest version (on Windows 7). In the new version it's grouped all my Facebook contacts in along with my normal Skype contacts. I've tried to get used to it but it's being an absolute pain when you start a conversation with a contact, only to find your speaking to them through their Facebook account and not their Skype. Is there any way I can revert my Skype client to split the Skype contacts from the Facebook contacts like it was before this update?

  This has been bugging me for a while. We have our Servers set to download only windows updates to stage them to be installed during one of our bi-monthly patch windows. I have looked high and low for a way to trigger the installation remotely on the servers during this time so that I don't have to log into a hundred or more servers and click on the "Install Updates Now" balloon. The computers don't have an internet connection (only a small intranet) and have never been updated since first install. Do I need to install SP1a first, then SP2, then SP3, or can I install SP3 immediately? And where do I find the right files, that don't require an internet connection during installation? I am not sure what are steps involved in applying a new ssl certificate. I know at the least I will install the new certificate(s) in the local store. As by setting its loaded to false unloads it. Visibility to true reloads it and with the Math random shouldn't allow it to cache? So has anyone done this before or know how I can get this to work?

It's completely broken! Now my question is: how can I develop an update using the latest xcode with support for ios 4? The latest iOS 4 xcode (3.2.3) doesn't provide any way to develop for iPhoneOS 3.x ("base sdk missing"). By the other side, xcode 3.2.2 would not allow me to debug it on a iOS 4 device, so I can't test it.

  Hi, when I update Adobe Flash/Flex code that is not related to ASP.Net with TortoiseSVN (latest) on a Windows Server 2008, the complete website locks and stop responding. Is it ASP.Net recompiling my code, is it IIS 7 or is it Tortoise locking the file system? How can I prevent or minimize this if I need to do an update when 1000 users are using the ASP.Net website? UPDATE: Thanks to Aito and Bryan, I learned more about AppDomain. I found these two links where I discover that folder creation/deletion recycle the AppDomain in ASP.Net 2. --If TortoiseSVN creates folders in it's hidden .svn folders hierarchy, I guess it will lock the app! • Update/Increment a single column on multiple rows at once

  I'm trying to add rows to a column, keeping the order of the newest column set to one, and all other rows counting up from there. In this case, I add a new row with order=0, then use this query to update all the rows by one. "UPDATE favorits SET order = order+1" However, what happens is that all the rows are updated to the same value. I get a stack of favorites, all with order 6 for example, when it should be one with 1, the next with 2 and so on. How do I update these rows in a way that orders them the way they should be?
