    Hello Everyone, I have anchor tag <a id="click" href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="disable();" style="">Clickme</a>. When html loads it showing clickme,when i click anchor link,it calls disable() function,In disable function i am trying to hide it using below code within the jquery success function: document.getElementById("click").style.display='none'; But page never hides that anchor link,Please let me know if i am doing anything wrong. As there are multiple text styles within the each line of text, and I don't need any interactivity except scrolling, it seems it would be easier to build with HTML and display it in a UIWebView. Is there a css library which matches this need?

  • PHP Curl Not formatting quotes properly; producing weird character set for single/double quotes

    I wrote a html scraper to scrape my various social identites, so I can make a real time 'biography' website. However after using php curl_exec, I find that texts that I have quoted, end up being formatted in a weird character set. ex: "I love dogs" gets formatted to ’I love dogs ’ "I hate cheese" gets formatted to “I hate cheese� How do I either scrub these characters, or set curl not to format quotes like this. Also, I have turned off magic_quotes.

    Hi, I am looking for a jquery modal window script for displaying images, text, html, videos, etc. There are a lot of great ones out there, but I am looking for one that allows for a long description (that isn't pulled from the title) - like highslide that lets you have a caption and will display the photo text to the right or left of your image in the same modal window. Due to licensing, I can't use highslide. So I'm looking for something else. Thoughts?

    I'm trying to use Selenium IDE to click on a swf in a html page. The DIV id and Embed id change depend on the timestamp e.g. id="FLASH_0_23458974594", I've tried using id=/^FLASH_([0-9]+_)0-9/ or id="FLASH_glob:*" but the IDE is not picking up the swf. Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks.
