What should i do? Should i create a column that gets date/time of the system when insertion/update happens to the table and then compare the created date/time with the time employee's specified - If so in this case i will have to create date/time column for timeIn, outToLunch, returnFromLunch and timeOut. I don't know, what do you suggest? Note: i'm concerned about tracking these 4 columns timeIn, outToLunch, returnFromLunch and timeOut

    I have a requirment to do some imports from an Excel spread sheet and have been looking at various examples on the web, they all seem to use the "Jet" driver which is not compatible with 64Bit. Now I am fully aware of the workarounds available (in changing how IIS runs etc) however I would like to know if there is repalcment for the "Jet" driver so I can read and generate excel sheets from Asp.Net running on a 64Bit server with no IIS modifications.

    I have an audiobook that I have ripped and I need some help constructing chapters. I have already made some cue sheets TITLE "Bookname" PERFORMER "the Author" FILE "File1.FLAC" wave ; 23971906.667 milliseconds TRACK 01 AUDIO TITLE "_Intro" INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 02 AUDIO TITLE "CH 01" INDEX 01 24:15:50 TRACK 03 AUDIO TITLE "CH 02" INDEX 01 66:21:00 TRACK 04 AUDIO TITLE "CH 03" INDEX 01 87:05:00 The audio book is in two files. The chapter at the end of the first file is continued in the second file. However, the second file restates: The publisher Book Title List item Blah blah blah I would like to merge the two 'halves' of the chapter in one seamless track. The only way I can think to do this would be be: Bulk cut down the tracks. Drop the junk info into junk track Continue the track listings as normal Take the two "halves" of the target chapter and build a separate cue sheet for it. I know there has to be an easier way. I am ok with making the 'junk' info a 'gap' or something. These are are FLAC files that will be converted to MP3 for my phone and other potable devices. I have read the primers on cue sheets, but I am just not getting it.

    Hello Stackers Does anyone have an idea on how to include or input the page numbers in the excel sheet generated using C# code. I use the libraries available in Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel to generate the file. However by default in the output i cannot see the page numbers. I know to enable this via excel options (View -- Header and Footer ...) but i want to automate this via C#. Is this possible, if yes kindly share the snippet for the same. Thanks Constant Learner

For example, Workbook1 has a single worksheet, Sheet1. I get 2 rows in the DataView, with the TABLE_NAME field being "Sheet1$" and "Sheet1$_". OK, I could use a RowFilter, but wondered whether there was a better way or why this extra row is returned? thanks Richard

    So I've got a page that shows an image with some absolutely positioned text on top of it. I want to write a print style sheet for it so that: the image is resized to fit the width of the page the text is repositioned and resized to maintain relative position and size with the image behind it So I know I can do (1) with just max-width: 100%, but I'm not sure how to accomplish (2). I'm okay with using some javascript if necessary, but I wanted to know if there's a way to do this in pure CSS. If I do need to use javascript, what can I hook to check for the pixel width of the image in the printed page? Just use the calculated width as normal? And yes, this question might be more appropriate for DocType, but I've yet to get any help over there.

  • Firefox Sprite Sheet Image Not Showing Up

    I'm trying to create a chat room with emoticons. When a user types an emoticon such as :) in the chatroom, the CSS takes the proper image off the sprite sheet. But my code only seems to work in Opera and IE (odd combination). It doesn't show in Firefox or Chrome (if you manage to hone in exactly where the image should be, you can find the image blank.gif which is used as the stand-in to place the background-url over). Does anyone know what might cause this in Firefox/Chrome?     Hi Guys, recently I started a project which can export some precalculated Grafix/Audio to files, for after processing. All I was doing is to put a new Window (with progressindicator and an Abort Button) in my main xib and opened it using the following code: [NSApp beginSheet: REC_Sheet modalForWindow: MOTHER_WINDOW modalDelegate: self didEndSelector: nil contextInfo: nil]; NSModalSession session=[NSApp beginModalSessionForWindow:REC_Sheet]; RECISNOTDONE=YES; while (RECISNOTDONE) { if ([NSApp runModalSession:session]!=NSRunContinuesResponse) break; usleep(100); } [NSApp endModalSession:session]; A Background Thread (pthread) was started earlier, to actually perform the work and save all the targas/wave file. Which worked great, but after an amount of time, it turned out that the main thread was not responding anymore and my memory footprint raised unstoppable. I tried to debug it with Instruments, and saw a lot of CFHash etc stuff growing to infinity. By accident i clicked below the sheet, and temporary it helped, the main thread (AppKit ?) was releasing it's stuff, but just for a little time. I can't explain it to me, first of all I thought it was the access from my thread to the Progressbar to update the Progress (intervalled at 0,5sec), so I cut it out. But even if I'm not updating anything and did nothing with the Progressbar, my Application eat up all the Memory, because of not releasing it's "Main-Event" or whatsoever Stuff. Is there any possibility to "drain" this Main thread Memory stuff (Runloop / NSApp call?). And why the heck doesn't the Main thread respond anymore (after this simple task) ??? I don't have a clou anymore, please help ! Thanks in advance ! P.S. How do you guys implement "threaded long task" Stuff and updating your gui ???

  • Why does Excel now give me already existing name range error on Copy Sheet?

    I've been working on a Microsoft Excel 2007 spreadsheet for several days. I'm working from a master template like sheet and copying it to a new sheet repeatedly. Up until today, this was happening with no issues. However, in the middle of today this suddenly changed and I do not know why. Now, whenever I try to copy a worksheet I get about ten dialogs, each one with a different name range object (shown below as 'XXXX') and I click yes for each one: A formula or sheet you want to move or copy contains the name 'XXXX', which already exists on the destination worksheet. Do you want to use this version of the name? To use the name as defined in destination sheet, click Yes. To rename the range referred to in the formula or worksheet, click No, and enter a new name in the Name Conflict dialog box. The name range objects refer to cells in the sheet. For example, E6 is called name range PRE on multiple sheets (and has been all along) and some of the formulas refer to PRE instead of $E$6. One of the 'XXXX' above is this PRE. These name ranges should only be resolved within the sheet within which they appear. This was not an issue before despite the same name range existing on multiple sheets before. I want to keep my name ranges. What could have changed in my spreadsheet to cause this change in behavior? I've gone back to prior sheets created this way and now they give the message too when copied. I tried a different computer and a different user and the same behavior is seen everywhere. I can only conclude something in the spreadsheet has changed. What could this be and how can I get back the old behavior whereby I can copy sheets with name ranges and not get any errors? Looking in the Name Manager I see that the name ranges being complained about show twice, once as scope Template and again as scope Workbook. If I delete the scope Template ones the error goes away on copy however, I get a bunch of #REF errors. If I delete the scope Workbook ones, all seems okay and the errors on copy go away too, so perhaps this is the answer, but I'm nervous about what effect this deletion will have and wonder how the Workbook ones came into existence in the first place. Will it be safe to just delete the Workbook name manager scoped entries and how might these have come into existence without my knowing it to begin with?

I have about 2000 tables in one sheet, and some "table of contents" listing all the tables. I'd like to create a link from the table of contents to the appropriate table (it's all within the same sheet). Is something like that possible ?

  • Eclipse IDE's Hello World Cheatsheet seems to have a mistake

    Hey guys, Just a warning: I'm completely new to Java and am trying to teach myself Android programming. I installed the Eclipse IDE today and tried to walk through the first Java Hello World "cheat sheet," and it didn't work! I was really quite surprised. When it asked me to select the checkbox to create the main() method, there wasn't anything on-screen that looked like a checkbox with "main()" or "method" next to it, so I guessed that maybe what they meant was the "Modifiers" radio button. So I left that checked for "public." It didn't compile and I got red X's next to every folder in my Package Explorer. Has anybody else had this problem? Thanks!

    Does anyone know of a good overview of the different C# collection types? I am looking for something showing which basic operations such as Add, Remove, RemoveLast etc. are supported, and giving the relative performance. It would be particularly interesting for the various generic classes - and even better if it showed eg. if there is a difference in performance between a List<T> where T is a class and one where T is a struct. A start would be a nice cheat-sheet for the abstract data structures, comparing Linked Lists, Hash Tables etc. etc. Thanks!
