• DotNetOpenAuth OpenID Provider "Sequence contains more than one element"

  Hello, all, I'm having trouble implementing my OpenID provider with DNOA 3.4.3. Everything was going absolutely peachy until I needed AX support as well. I set AXFetchAsSregTransform in the web config, as recommended by Andrew at http://groups.google.com/group/dotnetopenid/browse_thread/thread/5629a24c0a7e8d99. Doing this caused me to get the exception "Sequence Contains More Than One Element" on my decide.aspx page, however, and I haven't been able to get past it. The following line is throwing the exception: Edit: Strangely enough, this is not the line throwing the error anymore. The SendResponse() is now triggering the exception ClaimsRequest requestedFields = ProviderEndpoint.PendingRequest.GetExtension(); ProviderEndpoint.SendResponse() Any thoughts on why this may be? Any help would be greatly appreciated!   Hi Guys, I am trying to implement an edit page in order administrator to modify data in database.Unfortunately I am encountering an error. To make a parameter optional its type should be either a reference type or a Nullable type. • jQuery Javascript array 'contains' functionality?

  I'm trying to use the jQuery $.inArray function to iterate through an array and if there's an element whose text contains a particular keyword, remove that element. $.inArray is only returning the array index though if the element's text is equal to the keyword. For example given the following array named 'tokens': - tokens {...} Object [0] "Starbucks^25^http://somelink" String [1] "McDonalds^34^" String [2] "BurgerKing^31^https://www.somewhere.com" String And a call to removeElement(tokens, 'McDonalds'); would return the following array: - tokens {...} Object [0] "Starbucks^25^http://somelink" String [1] "BurgerKing^31^https://www.somewhere.com" String I'm guessing this may be possible using the jQuery $.grep or $.each function, or maybe regex. However, I'm not familiar enough with jQuery to accomplish this. Any help would be appreciated!

  I need an sql query to select some items from a table based on some condition which is based on a category field. As an example consider a list of people and I fetch the people from a particular age group from the database. I want to check if the result contains at least one result from each of a number of categories. If not I want to modify the age group by extending it and check the results again. This is repeated until I get an age group for which one result is present for each category. Right now i am doing this by analyzing the results and modifying the sql query. So a number of sql select queries are sent. What is the most efficient way of doing this? I am invoking the select queries from a java program using jdbc. I am using mysql database.

  I am having trouble posting a php variable to another page. The variable is retrieved from a dropdown selected by the user and if it contains an apostrophe, I only get the part prior to the apostrophe posted. I.E. If I want to post "Cooper's Hawk" I am only receiving "Cooper". How do I escape this properly so that I can post the entire string? • OS X contains heapsort in stdlib.h which conflicts with heapsort in sort library

  I'm using Ariel Faigon's sort library, found here: http://www.yendor.com/programming/sort/ I was able to get all my code working on Linux, but unfortunately, when trying to compile with GCC on Mac, its default stdlib.h contains another heapsort, which unfortunately results in a conflicting types error. Here's the man page for Apple heapsort: http://developer.apple.com/library/mac/#documentation/Darwin/Reference/ManPages/man3/heapsort.3.html Commenting out the heapsort in the sort library header causes a whole heap of problems. (pardon the pun) I also briefly thought of commenting out my use of stdlib.h, but I use malloc and realloc, so that won't work at all. Any ideas?

• Converting rich text that contains backslashes to plain text or html

  I am trying to convert a rich text string to plain text or html. I am currently using the RichTextBox.Text feature which works correctly for almost all cases except when the text contains backslashes then some of the text is stripped out as the converter believes that it is part of the rtf formatting. Does anyone have any ideas of how to get the backslashes to stay in that instance. Here is an example of a string I would have {\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\deff0\deflang1033{\fonttbl{\f0\fnil\fcharset0 Arial;}}\viewkind4\uc1\pard\fs17 Testing Export \with comments\par} The text I would need would be "Testing Export \with comments" and the text I am getting back from the rtf converter is "Testing Export comments". • XCode project complains about missing files if a linked framework contains private headers

  My Problem is this: My framework contains public and private headers - the public headers import private headers in the framework My app that links against this framework imports public headers Now when I compile it, XCode complains about missing files (the private headers that are indirectly imported via the frameworks public headers). I read somewhere on stackoverflow that I should do this: "In the public header file use @class to include other interfaces and use #import in the implementation file (.m)." I find this solution pretty unsatisfying - you have to use it for circular dependencies, too. Is there any better way to keep my headers private?

  I have a GUI tool that manages state sequences. One component is a class that contains a set of states, your typical DFA state machine. For now, I'll call this a StateSet. However, I have another class that has a collection (possibly partially unordered) of those state sets, and lists them in a particular order. and I'm trying to come up with a good name for it - not just for internal code, but for customers to refer to it. I've got: Sequence (maybe) StateSetSet (reasonable for code, but not for customers) Any other suggestions or ideas?

  I'm learning C++ and I am writing a function that determines whether a string contains only alphanumeric characters and spaces. I suppose I am effectively testing whether it matches the regular expression ^[[:alnum:] ]+$ but without using regular expressions.   In PHP, I need to be able to figure out if a string contains a URL. If there is a URL, I need to isolate it as another separate string. For example: "SESAC showin the Love! http://twitpic.com/1uk7fi" I need to be able to isolate the URL in that string into a new string. At the same time the URL needs to be kept intact in the original string. Follow? I know this is probably really simple but it's killing me.

  edit: the order might change as you can see in the below example, both string have same name but different order.... • EF - Entity Sql contains clausule with string

  Hi all, I have one question about EF. If I understand correctly EF does not support Contains. I try to achieve this: I have column(nvarchar) with this: for ex.row1. 1;3;4;5,row2. 3;4;6 row3. 7;8;16 etc. I have list(of string) with 1,6. My goal is to get row1 and row2 in result set. I try with linq to entity and with linq to sql but i can't get this right. I stuck with this and any help would be appreciated... Tnx

• after dup2, stream still contains old contents?

  so if I do: dup2(0, backup); // backup stdin dup2(somefile, 0); // somefile has four lines of content fgets(...stdin); // consume one line fgets(....stdin); // consume two lines dup2(backup, 0); // switch stdin back to keyboard I am finding at this point.. stdin still contains the two lines I haven't consumed. Why is that? Because there is just one buffer no matter how many times you redirect? How do I get rid of the two lines left but still remember where I was in the somefile stream when I want to go back to it?
