  • C++ linkage error . What am I doing wrong ? [migrated]

    So, this is the first time I actually separated a single program into a header and two .cpp files . But I think I am getting an linkage error . Heres how the directory looks . (heres a link to my image I dont have enough rep to post image in the question) http://i.stack.imgur.com/sbT4V.png The main.cpp is my main source file where all the calling functions and other important stuff goes . In functions.cpp I have all my functions , in the coordin.h file I have the function prototypes and structures and Constants . Everything is ok no typo nothing I have checked everything . But I am getting an undefined reference to function error. I have included the coordin.h file too . Do you think the functions.cpp file needs to go somewhere else I mean is the compiler not looking inside that file ? Thanks !

  • Compiz cube issues since upgrading to 12.10. The caps and 3d windows are all over the place.

    I think it's due to residual settings from the old reflection and deformation plug in. I've attempted a complete reset of the settings and still no go though. The cube caps stay black and glitch out when I spin it etc and I see multiple copies of each window. It's like it's trying to display the "inside the cube" setting and the regular just floating 3d window at the same time. Here's one example (rep isn't high enough yet for fancy img imbed, sorry) http://i.stack.imgur.com/rrbBd.jpg Any ideas? I'm trying this on my desktop which is using an NVIDIA 8800 GTS card. I also tried it on an older laptop that uses an intel card and same deal. I think maybe I can use the dconftool and try to see if there are still settings from the deformation and reflection plug in causing this. Unless someone knows how to get that back (either a beta or an old version) somehow?

  • 100% APC Fragmentation - Cacherouter & Pressflow install

    My APC cache has a 100% fragmentation. I'm not quite sure I understand what is going on here. For testing I jacked the available memory up to 512. After a day the total available free memory shows 73% but I still have 100% fragmentation. Would you gurus please look at my settings and offer your advice? Oh, I have read people suggest that I disable apc.stat when possible but when I do the site crashes. I am using the Pressflow build of Drupal 6 with the cacherouter module installed.   • Ubuntu move fullscreen window to other monitor?

    I have been using Cinnamon with Ubuntu for quite some time now and here with full screen applications (games and the like) I could press META to bring up the "start menu/tray" then right-click that application and "move to monitor - monitor 1" - I see no such button when right-clicking applications from tray on Ubuntu with Unity. I'd prefer being able to do it that way since I am more used to it, is there some way to enable it for Unity? For reference this is how it is on Cinnamon: http://i.stack.imgur.com/PC1rA.png Edit: I have been looking around with Ubuntu Tweak Tool, dconf-editor and CCSM - though I can't seem to find anything there.

  • Need help migrating from Wubi

    I know this question has been asked, but I am looking for specific help with my partition selection. I want to migrate my install from wubi to be a dual boot. When I installed it I choose a small, partition, around 30GB. I am following these instructions: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MigrateWubi I see sda4 matches that size, but has mount point as '/host', am I okay to use this one? EDIT: Here is a screenshot of my partitions. http://i.imgur.com/ozPe0.png My windows partition is actually not there, that is down as sdb1, so safely out of the way? I can confirm sda4 is the location of the 'virtual partition' and is an otherwise, unused 26GB partition. It's also where I would like to migrate to a full install to.

I also need it to stay on top. I also need it to be transparent. I also need it to be ghost like(mouse clicks go through it) so the application below can be interacted with still.   • How can I find the closest vector to another in a specific direction?

    Perhaps I am not phrasing it incorrectly in my searches, but I can not find anything on this. I have a vector3 with a specific direction that it is facing, I want to get the closest object to that position in that specific direction. Basically I want to get the object that is being aimed at. I have thought about finding all objects within a box and then finding the closest object to my vector from them results, but I am sure that there is a more efficient way.   • Merge shapes and draw border around final shape

I originally thought it would be simple to just merge the shapes and then find a way to draw a border around the end result but I can't seem to find any way of doing this.   • CKEditor Custom Plugins Button

    I've written a custom plugin for CKEditor--successful on all fronts, save one currently: I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to customize the image on the button in the toolbar of the editor. As I'm a new user, you'll have to click through to see attached image; the highlighted square in the top left should have a pretty picture (like most of the other toolbar items).     How do I get shortcodes to process properly in custom fields? I've tried using the code below, but I cannot figure out where to place it ("button" is the name of the field): <?php if ( get_post_meta($post->ID, 'button', true) ) echo do_shortcode(get_post_meta($post->ID, 'button', $single = true)); ?> As of now, the shortcode is working in the sense that the button is displaying, but the shortcode text is displaying where the "buy now" button is supposed to be.
