  • How can I interpolate literal \t and \n in Perl strings?

    Say I have an environment variable myvar: myvar=\tapple\n When the following command will print out this variable perl -e 'print "$ENV{myvar}"' I will literally have \tapple\n, however, I want those control chars to be evaluated and not escaped. How would I achieve it? In the real world $ENV residing in substitution, but I hope the answer will cover that.

    Hi All, i am trying to figure out how to write a linq query that will return a child collections "name" property as a string. I have a BO that has a "options" property where the options are the "name" property of each option in an "order" object. I would like the result to look something like order.id = 12312 order.date = 12/03/10 order.options = "Option 1 Name, Option 2 Name, Option 3 Name" I hope this makes sense. thanks for any and all help!

    how can I change the background of an ImageView from java? I have an ImageView and at a certain point I need to change the image that it displays (set in the styles). I tried to do it like this: placeHolder.setImageDrawable(myDrawb); but it looks like the old image remains there and it is partially covered but the new one (which in my case has different shape). hope you guys can help! cheers

Is there anything I have to do specifically to get the video out to work (for displaying my app on the tv)? or will the phone just display a running app on the tv without extra work?   • Joomla Mailto Component unable to send mails occassionally

    Greetings, I will certainly hope someone will be able to provide some enlightenment to my problem. Currently, I have 2 joomla sites, layout and menus are a replicate of the other. I noticed that on both Joomla, I will occasionally encounter "Unable to send mail" after a form submission. Is this the fault of my server, or the fault of Joomla's PHP Mailer ? I will certainly love to approach my hosting company for a solution but I do not want to place a false accusation on them.

    I need to get informed when the user changes the font size in it's browser. I need it to reposition some elements which have to be relative in one dimension to an anchor inside a text. So far i haven't found anything and i'm a bit worried that it's not possible. In this case it should be possible to emulate it with a hidden div and some text inside and a script polling for changes of it's width. But i hope someone has a more elegant solution.

Example: Code inline: example public static void main(String args[]){ //content } I hope to be able to make Line 1 and 3 uneditable BUT able to edit lines in between them adding characters/spaces increasing the number of lines inside the method as we speak AND still unable to edit the starting and closing bracket lines.

Example: There is an input box, after submitted the stuff that was written in the input box will be saved to a text file. Later on the results need to be brought back as a variable.     I need to hide a column as well as other elements when my page is printed , and in order to do that I have a print style sheet, everything works fine, except for the column I want to make disappear, the strange thing is that my stylesheet works in IE , but it didn't in Mozilla and chrome, why's that? Html code <col width="10%" class="art-editcolumn"/> and here's the CSS class: .art-editcolumn { display: none; } Hope you can help me out with this.

Each 'digit' of the code has a value of 0 to 9 and A to Z. some examples: the first code in the sequence is 000 009 - next code is - 00A 00D - next code is - 00E AAZ - next code is - AB0 the last code is ZZZ.
