    How would I output the title of an entry in ExpressionEngine and display it in the browser's title bar?   • XNA Multi-Thread Jitters

    Hi guys, brand new question. Just implemented multi-threading into my XNA game as it was unable to keep up with using 1 processor. MT is all implemented fine and everything, however the player seems to jitter all over the spot every now and then. I originally thought it was a loss of data between the update and render, but even when i did the player update in the render it did the same thing. It's not a memory/processor issue as i'm no where near maxing out my RAM or processors. It's strange aswell because none of the other entities in the game seem to have any of these issues. Any ideas at all??

    I'm sorry to ask this again, but I tried several solutions from stack overflow and some tutorials and I couldn't create a custom template tag yet. All I get is ImportError: No module named test_tag when I try to start the server via python manage.py runserver.   • CSS 100 percent height body and element

    I am having an issue making one of my elements 100% within an overall layout that is 100%. I have tried different positioning solutions and I either end up with hidden content the floats behind the footer at the bottom, or the content ends up going behind the footer, and carrys on after the footer. The code works fine but when I access the server via browser, the image is not displayed. The html of the page is as intended though. The permissions on the files are 755. Also I tried to create an index.html file in the do_GET method. That didn't work either. I mean the index.html was generated fine, but the response in the browser this time did not show anything (not even the hello world in the title). Am I missing anything very simple here? I was thinking should I overload the handle_request of the underlying SocketServer.BaseServer as the documentation says you should never override BaseHTTPServer's handle() method and should rather override the corresponding do_* method?

  • VirtualBox: How to connect to Internet via wi-fi on Mac?

    I installed VirtualBox with a Win XP VM on my Mac running OS 10.7.5. My Mac only has a wi-fi connection to the internet. On the settings for the virtual host, I set: Attached to: Bridged Adapter Name: en1: Wi-Fi (AirPort) Adapter Type: Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop (82540EM) Promiscuous Mode: Deny Mac Address: Cable Connected: true Those are the settings I see around the internet as being correct, but I still can't ping anything. On my Mac I have internet sharing via Ethernet enabled (not sure if that matters). When I start up my WinXP VM, it asks me to install a bunch of hardware which I don't have any drivers to. Do I need to install any ethernet card drivers in order for the internet to work? Thank you!!

  • Run Jmol applet using apache server

    I am a newbie in using apache and jmol. I am trying to run a jmol applet in python using apache server. Because of strict folder arrangement restrictions in jmol (html and model files should be present inside jmol folder), I had to move the default htdocs and cgi-bin folder inside jmol folder by editing the "httd.conf" file. Now the new location of htdocs folder is "Apache2.2/jmol/htdocs" and of cgi-bin folder is "Apache2.2/jmol/cgi-bin". Now I've put my "start.html" file in the htdocs folder which has the jmol applet tag. It takes "CA150.XYZ" file which is also placed in the same folder. On running this "start.html" file through apache server, nothing happens. It even doesn't give any error, it just shows a blank page. But if I try to run "start.html" without apache server, jmol applet do get executed and runs successfully. What am I doing wrong? Any idea?
