  Hi, We are working on an application and would like users to annotate an image. By annotation I mean, the ability to highlight parts of an image. Once the image is highlighted, and submit is clicked, the highlighted attributes (color, area highlighted) are submitted to the server to be stored in database. Is this possible using javascript?

I create a recordset of all users when the program is started and then select USERNAME and GRANTED_ROLE from the record set where USERNAME and PASSWORD are found. I use a "Set role 'GRANTED_ROLE' identified by 'password'" statment and Cn.Execute statement to set up the user's access rights. This is all done in a Module. On a form, I want to call a Stored Procedure that will SELECT, INSERT and UPDATE information into another schema's tables. The application have a good internet connection and there is no problem reaching the app server-side api. I see in analytics that lots of startups and click-events the past few days are lost, even I know the traffic is normal since i can see statistics from the the server api. In the analytics reports I see a day by day under-reporting. So the problems seems to be spreading/growing to all the devices using this application. Im wondering why google does not answer this in their mail-groups - several people have complained about this...well, well... I found this thread relevant: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/682560/java-net-socketexception-broken-pipe But, I'm still not sure if there is anything I can do to fix it or not. If there is nothing I can do to fix it, I guess its not my fault that it got broken. But i got a feeling it is, since the problem got dramatically worse on the last deploy to Android market.   I'm using a Silverlight 4 WCF RIA Services demo application that uses LinqToSql, that works well. I add a new database table, move the new table to the LinqToSql designer and build the project I add a new DomainService class I get a dialog with the only option to create an empty DomainService and no DataContext classes are available.   I was wondering, I am aware you can use assert to add facts or rules or whatever if you have declared the predicate to be -:dynamic, but this only allows the changes that are made to be kept in that session only, e.g. if you close the prolog window then the database changes are lost.   I am running on a new dev setup for SharePoint 2010 and trying to setup some External Content types. I think that I have setup BCS correctly (since I see it running in the central administration). When I go into SharePoint designer 2010 and try to setup a new External Content Type, I get the following error: "There is no Business Connectivity Service associated with the current web context." Am I missing something with the configuration or why am I not able to setup a new External Content Type to point to my existing SQL database

• Mercurial client error 255 and HTTP error 404 when attempting to push large files to server

  Problem: When attempting to push a changeset that contains 6 large files (.exe, .dmg, etc) to my remote server my client (MacHG) is reporting the error: "Error During Push. Mercurial reported error number 255: abort: HTTP Error 404: Not Found" What does the error even mean?! The only thing unique (that I can tell) about this commit is the size, type, and filenames of the files. How can I determine which exact file within the changeset is failing? How can I delete the corrupt changeset from the repository? Someone reported using "mq" extensions, but it looks overly complicated for what I'm trying to achieve. Background: I can push and pull the following: source files, directories, .class files and a .jar file to and from the server, using both MacHG and toirtoise HG. I successfully committed to my local repository the addition for the first time the 6 large .exe, .dmg etc installer files (about 130Mb total). In the following commit to my local repository, I removed ("untracked" / forget) the 6 files causing the problem, however the previous (failing) changeset is still queued to be pushed to the server (i.e. my local host is trying to push the "add" and then the "remove" to the remote server - and keep aligned with the "keep everything in history" philosophy of the source control system). I can commit .txt .java files etc using TortoiseHG from Windows PCs. I haven't actually testing committing or pushing the same large files using TortoiseHG. Please help! Setup: Client applications = MacHG v0.9.7 (SCM 1.5.4), and TortoiseHG v1.0.4 (SCM 1.5.4) Server = HTTPS, IIS7.5, Mercurial 1.5.4, Python 2.6.5, setup using these instructions: http://www.jeremyskinner.co.uk/mercurial-on-iis7/ In IIS7.5 the CGI handler is configured to handle ALL verbs (not just GET, POST and HEAD). • Transactions in codeigniter with multiple tables.

  Hey SO, I'm new to transactions in general, but especially with CodeIgniter. I'm using InnoDB and everything, but my transactions aren't rolling back when I want them to. It should roll back at that final trans_rollback right before the commit. My models are all on the "dog" database, so I think that the transaction would carry into the models' functions. • varchar(255) to varchar(MAX)

  Is it possible to change a column type in a MS SQL 2008 database from varchar(255) to varchar(MAX) without having to drop the table and recreate? SQL Server Management Studio throws me an error every time I try to do it using that - but to save myself a headache would be nice to know if I can change the type without having to DROP and CREATE. • TeamCity forgotten admin password - where to look?

  I need to recover/reset the admin password for JetBrain's TeamCity. I have full RDP access to the server so no problems there. It's just been 2 months since we used it so now I have forgotten my login - my usual ones don't work. It is setup without a database at the moment, so was hoping the usernames would just be in a file somewhere, but no luck finding it so far.

• microsoft visual studio 2008 builds keep failing

  My builds keep failing with the following error Project : error PRJ0002 : Error result 31 returned from 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A\bin\mt.exe'. I find that i have to kill some process called mspdbsrv.exe description:"microsoft program database" Then rebuild the entire project. This is annoying. Is there a permanent solution to this problem or is it stuck with me for good? PS OS: windows 7 ultimate msv studio 2008 + sp1 professional
