• Localization problems in iPhone

  Hi I have been trying to localize my iPhone app in two languages - english and german I have created two folders en.lproj and de.lproj each containing Localizable.strings file for respective language. I have included these files in my resources folder, changed the encoding of these files to UTF-16. I have tried cleaning the project and building it again, deleting folder at path: Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/User But the problem is still there. Anybody having an idea please help.

There is a project on http://code.google.com/p/winchain/wiki/HowToUse that seemed to work with iPhone 1.0, but had limited success with iPhone 2.0, plus it requires all the cygwin insanity. However this is still in Preview 2 and hasn't been updated since March 2009. Is this project dead in the water? If so, what alternatives do we have for creating .NET-based REST services?   Hi recently I finished my WM6 Pro.6.1 application and happily learned that to put it into marketplace, it has to pass some tests. -Application Verifier -Microsoft Hopper Test Tool for Windows Mobile 6.0, 6.1, and 6.5 I use VS 2008 and windows mobile 6.1 and I couldnt run none of these tests, Hopeer tool has a FocusApp c++ application which I must build and run before testing, but its a VS 2005 project and I couldnt run it on VS 200..and without it I can't test anything. any ideas how can I build that for VS2008?

• Zend Framework in a subfolder, but images taken from site root

  I have a dev project setup in a subfolder on my testing machine and it must stay there. However all the Zend frameworks views are linked to server root. CSS are linked like: <link type="text/css" href="<?php echo $this->baseUrl('/css/frontend.css') ?>" rel="Stylesheet" /> Which must be stayed this way, but it should link to localhost/a/b/c/prj1/css/frontend.css How can I setup a global subdirectory for this?

  I'm reading about how to put a makefile together, but no-one seems to mention what to do if your files require different sets of libraries, they all seem to use the same set of libraries for each file. Since it seems unlikely that every single file has the same libraries, I take it the list they use must amalgamate all of the libraries required across the project. I just wanted to know if there's any downside to including too many libraries, or if the compiler works out which ones are needed and ignores the rest? Thanks
