  • Tortoisesvn using svn:mergeinfo, is there a way to turn it off?

    When I'm doing a tortoise svn merge, it includes a bunch of directories, and some files into the modified files, even know there are no actual changes. It changes the property svn:mergeinfo Is there any reason why these properties set on the directory/files are needed? Is there any way to get around not doing these changes to svn:mergeinfo? I usually just revert the items then commit, but this wastes extra time

    Is a server essentially a background process running an infinite loop listening on a port? For example: while(1){ command = read(127.0.0.1:xxxx); if(command){ execute(command); } } When I say server, I obviously am not referring to a physical server (computer). I am referring to a MySQL server, or Apache, etc. Full disclosure - I haven't had time to poke through any source code. Actual code examples would be great!

  • Performing deployment of application and restarting of domain in the same server

    I am using hudson which will run scheduled builds from time to time. Problem is that i configured a shell script which will be excuted to perform the deployment and also restarting of domain. As hudson is on the same application server as the actual application. My hudson will stop and also stop the shell script after the asadmin stop-domain command so it doesn't proceed to start back the domain. What can i do to resolve this issue?

  • YouTube .Net API - Not getting correct View Counts

    I've managed to plug away through the YouTube documentation, and have managed to successfully implement the majority of what I want to work. My question is, I get the video View count and it comes back lower than the actual video on YouTube. It was fine this morning and both showed correctly, but now my version is out by 4 views. Does anyone have any experience with this? Or can tell me if they update the values every 5/10/15/24 hours?

  • One iPhone, two developer machines

    Hi all, I switch between my iMac and MacBook when working on my apps. I've always used my iMac to test the apps on the actual device, but I would like to be able to do this from both computers. I cannot seem to use the profile on my MacBook as it does not have the correct Certificate Signing Request in the KeyChain. Is there a way to copy these between machines and KeyChains? :)

    So I am working on a gridview that uses the order number to order the table. However, my users are able to ad a row. What i want is something similar to pages that have the arrows next to each row and the user can click up if they want that row to go up.     I have a CSV file in which every column contains unnecessary spaces(or tabs) after the actual value. I want to create a new CSV file removing all the spaces using bash. For example One line in input CSV file value1 ;value2 ;value3 ;value4 same line in output csv file should be value1;value2;value3;value4 I tried using awk to trim each column but it didnt work.     I'm using the following code to get the path where Word stores its templates: WordTemplatePath:=WordApp.Options.DefaultFilePath[$00000002]; The problem is that this returns the path for the actual, logged-in user. Is there a way to get the path for another user of the same Windows instance? I need it so my installer program can install the templates used by my program for other users as well.

    I have bunch of Symbol MC 70 devices. They run Windows Mobile 5. Most of these work just fine, but I have one that is sending the sounds (alarms and such) to the phone rather than the speaker on the device. (The sounds play in the speaker used for listening to a phone call) Does anyone know how to route this back to the actual phone speaker?

    Hey, I want to know if there's a few folks out there with experience in using admob for iphone apps. I've just started using it and have a problem. When I close an in app ad the actual ad itself has moved up 40 pixels and is mostly hidden behind the navigation bar. In addition all of my own content is shifted up 40 pixels. The addmob documentation is very limited so not much help there sadly.
