    I am using openssl in a project. It works fine on one machine. However, on an xp pro machine I get: The ordinal 968 could not be located in hte dynamic link library LIBEAY32.dll Does anyone know how to fix this issue, is it a dependency issue on some other dll?

  • What's an appropriate HTTP status code to return by a REST API service for a validation failure?

    I'm currently returning 401 Unauthorized whenever I encounter a validation failure in my Django/Piston based REST API application. Having had a look at the HTTP Status Code Registry I'm not convinced that this is an appropriate code for a validation failure, what do y'all recommend? 400 Bad Request 401 Unauthorized 403 Forbidden 405 Method Not Allowed 406 Not Acceptable 412 Precondition Failed 417 Expectation Failed 422 Unprocessable Entity 424 Failed Dependency Update: "Validation failure" above means an application level data validation failure ie. incorrectly specified datetime, bogus email address etc.

    Hi, I'm looking for Linux embedded web browser, or preferably just a rendering object (it will not be used for actual browsing, just for displaying web based gui). The requirements are: Written in C (small footprint) Support Dynamic HTML Support Java script Minimum dependencies on the libraries (although i understand that it can not be completely standalone) No Dependency on X11 (i.e working with direct frame qui libraries) So far i only found Embedded Konqueror. Any suggestions are welcomed, commercial solutions are OK, but open source is preferable.

    Given a maven project with a parent POM - including mostly plugin and dependency versions - how can I generate a POM which takes the information from the parent, places it into the child and removes the reference to the parent? Ideally this would be done with the maven-assembly-plugin. Update: I need this done automatically, since manually it's boring and tedious. Update 2: I'm preparing the source code for an external and want to deliver only one project, not the whole family.

    I have deployed one web project into Azure emulator. And I get this error saying that Could not load file or assembly Base. The thing is that this web project, got dependencies to another project in the same solution. I have added that dependency into the reference list of my web project. And if I run this web application without using the azure emulator it will run fine. But I will get error when I try to run it on the azure emulator. At first glance I thought that I maybe need to add the other project as role also. But it couldn't be that. Anyone know what the problem might be? I hope I got enough data for you to look into. I want to make the code robust to use with multiple monitors who's number and relative location can change (I want to avoid opening my application off-screen when the monitor configuration has changed inbetween invocations). I know of the Screen class in System.Windows.Forms, but I don't want to take a dependency on that assembly just for this feature.

  • F# compiler order of source files

    As I understand it, when using F#, you have to manually list the source files in dependency order for the compiler's benefit (if there is any way around that, please let me know!) Listing them on the command line from left to right obviously isn't going to scale. Is there a way to at least make it accept the list of files in a text file, one per line, preferably with the ability to put in blank lines and comments? I've checked the compiler options, and I don't see anything that looks promising.
