  I need a way to use the jquery .live() function to act on elements that are loaded via ajax. For instance a div is loaded via ajax .load() <div id="mydiv"></div> Normally I do .live() with a click event, but I need to know how to tell the dom that this new div has loaded without any explicit actions/events from the user. This code doesn't work, but I want to do something like this: mydiv = $("#mydiv"); mydiv.live("mydiv.length > 0", function() { // do something }); The "mydiv.length" being a substitue for the typical "click" or other event.

  I'm using MikTeX 2.8 edition, and installed the hungarian language support and hyphenation files. Using the standard LaTeX command they work fine, but when I try to use pdfLaTeX, they don't get loaded and I get the (C:\stuff\miktex\tex\generic\babel\magyar.ldf (C:\stuff\miktex\tex\generic\babel\babel.def) Package babel /b/c12/cWarning:/b/c0/c No hyphenation patterns were loaded for (babel) the language `Magyar' (babel) I will use the patterns loaded for \language=0 instead. message. Using latex it works fine: (C:\stuff\miktex\tex\latex\00miktex\bblopts.cfg) (C:\stuff\miktex\tex\generic\babel\magyar.ldf (C:\stuff\miktex\tex\generic\babel\babel.def))) I tried updating the FNDB and the Formats, but to no avail. It then searches the static libraries the project uses - by project reference, explicit import and automatic default library imports; but it does so in an order that, again, seems arbitrary to me. Does this project really not use anything from msvcrt.lib, kernel32.lib? Seems unlikely. So basically I'm looking to decipher the underlying order in the linker's operation.

• Security behaviour in Adobe Air

  Hi everyone! I am trying to load external SWFs in my Adobe AIR App. The loaded SWF is trying to access an URL to retrieve some informations via XML. When starting the SWF by itself it works fine. When loading the SWF from the File.applicationStorageDirectory i will get an Security-Error because the loaded App is executed in a local-with-filesystem Sandbox appareantly. First Question: Is there a way to change this? That the loaded SWF is running in a network Sandbox? Since that first attempt didn't worked i've moved the SWF to the app:// directory. Now i'll get a Security-Error because there is no policy file on the Server available where the XML data should be retrieved. Second Question: Why is the policy file not necessary when running the SWF by itself, but is necessary when trying to load the data from the application Sandbox? What am i doing wrong? • dlopen() with dependencies between libraries

  My program uses plugins, that are loaded dynamically with dlopen(). The locations of these plugins can be arbitrary, so they aren't necessarily in the library path. In some cases, one plugin needs to depend on another plugin. So if A and B are dynamic libraries, I'll first load A, then load B which uses symbols defined in A. My reading of the dlopen() documentation implies that if I specify RTLD_GLOBAL this should all work. But it doesn't. When I call dlopen() on the second library, it fails with an error saying it couldn't find the first one (which had already been loaded with dlopen()): Error loading library /usr/local/openmm/lib/plugins/libOpenMMRPMDOpenCL.dylib: dlopen(/usr/local/openmm/lib/plugins/libOpenMMRPMDOpenCL.dylib, 9): Library not loaded: libOpenMMOpenCL.dylib Referenced from: /usr/local/openmm/lib/plugins/libOpenMMRPMDOpenCL.dylib Reason: image not found How can I make this work?

  I'd like to write a python function that has a dynamically created docstring. In essence for a function func() I want func.__doc__ to be a descriptor that calls a custom __get__ function create the docstring on request. Then help(func) should return the dynamically generated docstring. The context here is to write a python package wrapping a large number of command line tools in an existing analysis package. Each tool becomes a similarly named module function (created via function factory and inserted into the module namespace), with the function documentation and interface arguments dynamically generated via the analysis package.

  I am looking how to approach following problem: We have application that displays text with audio recorded material. We use Browser Control (Internet Explorer) in Delphi App to do this. We respond to events in Delphi code setting innerHTML for elements if we have to update the style ... Now, request is to add option to dynamically move the cursor or dynamically highlight the words spoken from the paragraph. It doesn't need to match absolutely the exact word spoken so we will have to dynamically update the content of position of highlighted word based on some timer or something (because it is not text to speach). What should be the most practical and easy approach to this kind of problem, all answers are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  Hi, this may be a weird problem but I’m not sure the best way to go about it.. I am using JQuery ajax tabs. The tab section is dynamic so multiple tabs can be added, as the content is loaded via Ajax the same content can be loaded into different tabs. The other important detail is that i am using the Cache option so the tabs maintain state. Now problems arise when more than one tab has been loaded. It looks like HTML items such as forms and divs now have duplicated id's within the DOM, so Ajax queries can no longer distinguish between the elements.. The result is that any JavaScript/Ajax breaks. Does anyone have any suggestions for way to tackle such a problem? Thanks in advance..

• CURL on PHP 5.2 works in CLI but not in IIS

  I have a Windows 2003 Server running IIS with php 5.2.8, I'm trying to use CURL, and it works in CLI mode (if i execute php.exe) but it does not seem to be registered when running under IIS. The output of PHP info in both CLI and IIS show the same 'Loaded Configuration File', but under IIS it does not give the CURL info box. c:\program files\php\php.exe -i shows ... Loaded Configuration File => C:\Program Files\PHP\php.ini ... curl cURL support => enabled cURL Information => libcurl/7.16.0 OpenSSL/0.9.8i zlib/1.2.3 phpinfo() ... Loaded Configuration File => C:\Program Files\PHP\php.ini ... NOTE: This server also runs php 5.3 in c:\program files\php-5.3.0 and CURL does properly work with that installation.

• Dynamic web user control problem when browser's back button is clicked.

  Hi all, I have an .aspx page in which I dynamically add web controls to a panel. The problem is when I hit the browser's back buton, it's displayed a version of the page that no longer exists on the server-side, because the controls are dynamically added. Let's say my aspx dynamically adds Control1. From there, I click a button that loads Control2. At this moment, if I press the browser's back button, it will display the page with Control1, but Control1 no longer exists on the server-side, so if I interact with it, some erractic behaviour will occur. Any ideas on this? Thank you very much.

• Google App Engine - low-level datastore API flag?

  In my GAE-Java app, I'm using the low-level datastore API. Hence I don't need the GAE app instance to load any of the higher level data access libraries such as JPA, JDO, Data Nucleus, etc. Is there a flag that I can set to indicate that I don't want these libraries to be loaded? My motivation to do this is to reduce app instance startup time everywhere I can. Now I don't know if these libraries are loaded only on-demand or always. The dev environment logs messages related to data nucleus which seems to indicate that some of these libraries may be pre-loaded? I hope I'm wrong here. Thanks, Keyur

• Loading Youtube Iframe API with RequireJS

  I'm trying to use the Youtube Iframe API inside a module definded with Require JS. As this API is loaded async and calls a function once is loaded, I used a requireJS plugin called "async", that worked before with google maps api. However, this time something isn't working. My module starts this way: define(['text!fmwk/widgets/video/video.html','fmwk/utils/browser','async!http://www.youtube.com/iframe_api'], function (videoTpl,root) { ... }); and chrome console fires this error: Uncaught Error: Load timeout for modules: async!http://www.youtube.com/iframe_api_unnormalized3,async!http://www.youtube.com/iframe_api http://requirejs.org/docs/errors.html#timeout If I don't use async plugin the object YT or its functions are undefinded, and the same happens if I download the API code. The API is loaded sometimes if I put an script tag in the head tag of the html file. All this is expected, but I don't understand because async plugin fails. Thank you for your attention and help :)

  I've got a UITabBarController with 7 tabs. Each of the 7 tabs has its own UINavigationController and customizes its toolbar. When a view is loaded via the UITabBarController's "More" menu its custom toolbar isn't appearing. If i switch the order of the views around so that the same view is now accessible from the UITabBar without going through the "More" menu then the custom toolbar shows up like it's supposed to. Is there a way to customize a NavigationController's toolbar when that NavigationController is loaded via the "More" menu of a TabBarController? I'm actually also interested in replacing the "More" menu navigation controller with my own custom one on views loaded via the "More" menu... not sure whether that's even possible. Any feedback will be appreciated.

  i'm trying to create a newsletter in a single html file, which will be loaded into outlook express and sent out as a mail. i have like a few images embedded onto the html file but 2 of them cant be loaded for preview in design mode. there is no problem for the rest of the images. those images that cant be loaded has the grey color icon. the directory for the images are the same. i have copied and pasted the absolute directory for the images that cant load and it doesnt work. the images loads fine when executed from the html file that was uploaded to the webserver. i need to get the newsletter out tomorrow, any assistance here? thanks in advance.

  I'm creating a custom preloader for a Flex app and have noticed the following behavior: when loading, the progress bar goes to 100%, then down then back up, and so on until the app is finished loading. When I put a trace in the dowloadprogress listener, I see that while the app is loading, both bytesLoaded and bytesTotal increase, but not necessarily at the same time. But when i loaded the application into iphone the uiview has not the property of resize its frame automatically.Is it possible to change a uiview automatically in iphone (when application loaded)? Until I save that function in a separate .js file and load in the main index file as well as all other files from where I need to trigger that function even though these internal files are going to loaded into the the first main file . Is there any way for a function in the index file to run from the html document that is loaded inside a element.
