    I have used every step mentioned in the below given link: http://www.moviecodec.com/solutions/iv31-iv32-iv41-iv50-indeo-3-4-and-5-8211/ installed older version on quick-time, window media player classic. I mean everything. But still no luck running the file. I was also trying to find a converter to convert the file into an acceptable format. But unable to do that either. Can anyone help me with this.     I installed Ruby on WinXP. Used rubyinstaller-1.8.6-p383-rc1.exe. Ran gem install rake Get error: Error installing rake: invalid gem format for C:/Ruby/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/cache/rake-0.8.7.gem I've tried deleting the cache folder but i keep getting the same error. Tried with Ruby 1.9.1 too. Same error. What am i doing wrong?

    When implementing public methods with parameters it’s important to write boiler-plate code to do argument validation and throw exceptions when needed, ArgumentException and ArgumentNullException being the most recurrent. Another thing that is important is to correctly specify the parameter causing the exception through the proper exception constructor. In order to take advantage of IntelliSense completion in these scenarios I use a Visual Studio macro binded to a keyboard shortcut that converts the identifier at the cursor position to a string literal.     I have a bash script that builds a command-line in a string based on some parameters before executing it in one go. The parts that are concatenated to the command string are supposed to be separated by pipes to facilitate a "streaming" of data through each component. A very simplified example: #!/bin/bash part1=gzip -c part2=some_other_command cmd="cat infile" if [ ! "$part1" = "" ] then cmd+=" | $part1" fi if [ ! "$part2" = "" ] then cmd+=" | $part2" fi cmd+="> outfile" #show command. It looks ok echo $cmd #run the command. fails with pipes $cmd For some reason the pipes don't seem to work. When I run this script i get different error messages relating usually to the first part of the command (before the first pipe). So my question is whether or not it is possible to build a command in this way, and what is the best way to do it?

    UTF8? UTF16? Does the string in PhP also keep tracks the encoding used for that string? A good answer would give me a sample of Let's look at this script for example. Say I do $original = "??????????????"; What actually happen? Obviously I think $original will not contain just 7 characters. Those glyps must each be represented by several bytes there. Then I do $converted= mb_convert_encoding ($original , "UTF-8") What will happen to $converted? How will $converted be different than $original? Will it be just the exact same byte sequence with $original but with different encoding? Or what?

    I got an issue with Unity I can't seem to comprehend, and it is possibly very simple: I am trying to write a simple piece of code in JavaScript where a button toggles the activation of a shield, by dragging a prefab with Resources.load("ActivateShieldPreFab") and destroying it again (Haven't implemented that yet). I wish to assign this button through the inspector, so I have created a string variable which appears as intended in the inspector. Though it doesn't seem to register the inspector input, even though I changed the value through the inspector. It only provides the error: "Input Key named: is unknown" When the button name is assigned within the code, there is no issues. Code as follows: var ShieldOn = false; var stringbutton : String; function Start(){ } function Update () { if(Input.GetKey(stringbutton) && ShieldOn != true) { Instantiate(Resources.load("ActivateShieldPreFab"), Vector3 (0, 0, 0), Quaternion.identity); ShieldOn = true; } } Hope somebody can help, in advance...     Possible Duplicate: How bad is it to use display: none in CSS? I have heard that using display:none or visibility:hidden css properties are not a very good idea for seo purposes. I have about 4 different pop up windows to display and each one has about 20 words inside it. I can create hidden divs. Another option is to store div html elements as javascript string. In this way pop up html elements will be generated from javascript string. This will be still faster than using ajax since the data is static. Is this method absolutely safe for SEO? P.S.: I was just asking about similar question on http://stackoverflow.com/questions/12389075/storing-data-in-javascript-array-for-further-use, but this one is different, it is about static data and about SEO.

  • Excel 2007: "Format as Table" Increments Column Names

    I love using the formatting styles for tables in Excel 2007, but in my data I'm using the same column name for multiple columns. When I format my table using the pre-defined styles, it automatically adds an incremental number to each subsequent column name which I don't want. Is there any way to stop this from happening? If I attempt to manually rename the column back to the original name, it automatically appends the incremented number.

  • How to export User cert with private key in PKCS12 format

    I'm running Win2008R2, and have installed an Enterprise CA. I can create user certs, but no matter what I do, I cannot export the private key. I'm using the un-touched User certificate template, and the "allow export of private key" option is selected. Still, whenever I go to the "export" dialogue of the certificate (both as user and as administrator), I don't get asked if I want to export the private key, and the option to select PKCS12 format is grayed out. Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • Importer or converter for ClarisWorks cwk format?

    I have several ClarisWorks documents (*.CWK) that I'd like to import into a more modern format like Microsoft Word or Open Office. It seems Star Office can apparently open cwk files, but the product is discontinued and cannot be downloaded any more. There has been a feature request to add a cwk importer to OpenOffice since 2002, so I doubt that OpenOffice will support cwk files any time soon. Are there any utilities that can open a cwk file besides ClarisWorks itself?

  • Format Change Event for Excel VBA

    I'm trying to prevent people from modifying (most) of my spreadsheet while still alowing them to use the sort function of the AutoFilter. What I've done so far is used the Worksheet_Change event and Application.Undo to automatically undo any values entered into cells that I don't want to be modified. This works great, except that it can't detect changes in formatting. Does anyone know of a means to trigger an event when the format (text/background color) of a cell is changed? Thanks!

    I have an swf (just a sequence of slides with audio, timing controlled by actionscript) that I want to convert to a compatible YouTube format (flv, mp4, etc.). I've tried using the Moyea SWF4Tube software but when it was converted all of the timing was gone. I'm fine with uploading as a swf, but the problem was (when I tried) that the codecs weren't appropriate. Any help regarding this is much appreciated, thanks.
