  • Where to find great proxy servers for testing GeoIP services?

    We would like to test a GeoIP-Service. Therefore we need to go to the site with an IP from another country. There are a lot of free proxy lists like http://nntime.com/proxy-country/ The problem with them is, that only the CoDeen-Proxies are working. But with CoDeen you can't select your country of origin (the same as with TOR). You get redirected to a random proxy in the network. Where to find good proxy server for testing the GeoIP Services? Free proxy servers would be great, but if they cost something small that doesn't matter.

My router has these functionalities: SNMP v1, v2c, built-in MIB-I, MIB-II agent.     My goal is to calculate the broadcast address when given the IP and subnet mask of a host node. I know, sounds like homework. Once I reasoned through my task and boiled it down to this, I was amused with myself. Anyway, the solution will look something like the one in this question I suppose, but I'm not a math major and my C sucks.     We have a domain abc.com from which a particular page will display the contents from the domain def.com which does not belong to us. Now rather than display def.com in the address bar in the browser, we would like to continue using abc.com. We would like to achieve it without using iframes or screen scraping. Is there a way to achieve what we are after using DNS forwarding or aliasing? If so how? We have a choice of using Microsoft's DNS server or BIND.

    hi, I need to get a domain name if I have an IP address (e.g. I type 209.85.129.103 and the program should find out that is the Google address) As far as I've figured out is get the hostname: IPHostEntry IpToDomainName = Dns.GetHostEntry("209.85.129.103"); string HostName = IpToDomainName.HostName; //it returns "fk-in-f103.1e100.net" but it's not that I want. I don't know how to achieve that. Any ideas will be helpful

We have tought of using a table with ip and old session id or a query string with the old session id in order to reassing it in the uploaded event... What is supposed to happen here? Does it have to do with the fact that I'm behind a wireless router on a dynamic IP address (although I can access localhost no problem so...)? As you can see I'm on windows (Vista)

    Hi there I made the mistake of using == for comparing IP addresses instead of using the equals() method of the IPAddress class in C#, which will result in the comparison of references instead of values. Since the solution I am currently working on is very large for a one-man project ( 100.000 lines of source code), I am very sure that I still have some of these wrong statements in my code. Is there any possibility to tell Visual Studio to find all occurrences of == operations on a specific class for me, so that I can find and clean up the bugged comparisons? with best regards, emi
