    I always find my self in trouble with alot of (namespace or refference errors?), when trying to rename a project in VS. This is how I do: I click on the project and press F2 and rename it. That procedure do you guys follow? I use to work in Eclipse, and there I don't have the problems, maybes it's easy in VS too and it's just me. Thx, radbyx

    In Windows XP, one can press Alt-PrintScreen to copy an image of the active window, or Ctrl-PrintScreen to copy an image of the full desktop. This can then be pasted into applications that accept images: Photoshop, Microsoft Word, etc. I'm wondering: Is there a way to save the screenshot directly to a file? Do I really have to open Photoshop simply to paste an image, then save it?

    I am relatively new to this still, and I have been developing a small app that would benefit greatly from a user being able to press 2 buttons at one time. What is the best method for achieving this? I dont think that an OnClickListener works like that, and I have seen examples for doing this with an OnTouch event. However, I do not know how to set up button presses with and OnTouch event.

    All right all, So I've got a UITableView that is inited in applicationDidFinishLaunching like so: [self showForumList]; Said method does this: -(void)showForumList { ForumList *fl = [ForumList alloc]; [fl initWithNibName:@"ForumList" bundle:[NSBundle mainBundle]]; self.ForumList = fl; [window addSubview:[self.ForumList view]]; [fl release]; }where self.ForumList is previously defined in the interface as ForumList *ForumList;, etc. Now, in ForumList (itself an extension of UITableViewController obviously), I've got didSelectRowAtIndexPath: -- within it I have the following code: Forum *f = [Forum alloc]; NSArray *forums = [f getForumList]; NSDictionary *selectedForum = [forums objectAtIndex:[indexPath row]]; NSString *Url = [selectedForum objectForKey:@"url"]; NSString *Username = [selectedForum objectForKey:@"username"]; NSString *Password = [selectedForum objectForKey:@"password"]; NSLog(@"Identified press on forum %@ (%@/%@)", Url, Username, Password); [self.globalDelegate showForumListFromForumUsingUrl:Url username:Username password:Password]; [self.globalDelegate closeForumList]; NSLog(@"ForumListFromForum init"); Both of the NSLog calls in this function are executed and perform as they should. Now, here is where the issue starts. self.globalDelegate is defined as AppDelegate *globalDelegate; in the Interface specification in my header file. However, [self.globalDelegate showForumListFromForumUsingUrl:username:password] and and [self.globalDelegate closeForumList] are never actually called. They look like so: -(void)closeForumList { NSLog(@"Hiding forum list"); [[self.ForumList view] removeFromSuperview]; } -(void)showForumListFromForumUsingUrl:(NSString *)Url username:(NSString *)Username password:(NSString *)Password { NSLog(@"Showing forum list from forum"); ForumListFromForum *fl = [ForumListFromForum alloc]; [fl initWithNibName:@"ForumListFromForum" bundle:[NSBundle mainBundle]]; [fl initFromForumWithUrl:Url username:Username password:Password]; self.ForumListFromForum = fl; [window addSubview:[self.ForumListFromForum view]]; [fl release]; } The app does not respond to my press and neither of these NSLog calls are made. Any idea where I've gone wrong?

    I have an HD 250 Gb It is portioned to C,D,E C has 50 GB D has 50 GB and the rest is given to E, On C I have Windows 7, I decided to install Opensuse On E. I have installed Opensuse Successfully. Now Opensuse loader shows Windows7 option when I it loads but, when I chose to load windows 7 I get " A Disk read error occured, press ctrl+alt+e to restart". Does any one has an Idea How to fix windows 7 and keep Opensuse ? My Opensuse is 12.2. Thanks

  • Unfortunately App stopped when destroying SupportMapFragment

    I have the following problem. I have three fragments which are hosted in a TabHost. When I'm working with the app everything works fine. Now I like to end the app when the user hits the back button. Instead of terminating without errors I get the message Unfortunately App stopped. Then I said to myself something is wrong with the onDestroy() method of the FragmentActivity or with the onDestroyView method() of the Fragment. The problem is I cannot debug the point where the app crash. I get only the error:Fatal signal 11 (SIGSEGV). I then removed one by one each Fragment to identify which fragment causes the error. I could identify the fragment that I named BasicMapFragment. Something is wrong there. The code: public class BasicMapFragment extends SupportMapFragment implements LocationListener { @Override public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container, Bundle savedInstanceState) { View view = super.onCreateView(inflater, container, savedInstanceState); //removeAllMarkers(); //setupGps(); //setupMap(); //setupMarkersFromModel(); //registerListeners(); return view; } } I commented out all my self written code to isolate the place where the error occurs. @Override public void onDestroy() { Log.d("ch.xxx.fragment.BasiceMapFragment", "On destroy called"); super.onDestroy(); } public void onDestroyView() { Log.d("ch.xxx.fragment.BasiceMapFragment", "On destroy view called"); super.onDestroyView(); } When I press the back button now the onDestroy() method of my FragmentActivity is first called like expected. Then the onDestroyView method is called on my BasicMapFragment class. At the end the onDestroy method is called - and then the application crash. Here is my layout file: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <FrameLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools" android:layout_width="match_parent" android:layout_height="match_parent"> <fragment android:id="@+id/map" android:layout_width="match_parent" android:layout_height="match_parent" class="com.google.android.gms.maps.SupportMapFragment"/> </FrameLayout> Resume: - Map is showed - I can work with the app. - When I leave out the BasicMapFragment the app finish without error. - When I add the BasicMapFragment the app returns an error when I press the back button Is there something that I have forgot to implement? Copy should have the same functionality as if I press Ctrl+C. Any help would be appreciated. Im using C# and WinForms.     I have a php page that has a form that asks for an e-mail. When you press the send button, it gets to another php page, which gets the form data and does its stuff. I need to then be able to go back to the old page (the one that contained the form) and give it some data so that it will be able to change itself and say "You've sent your e-mail successfully, and will not display the form. How do I do it?

    i have a form that submits data to a database, i have a function that looks like this: //connect foreach ($_POST as $key => $value) { $_POST[$key] = mysql_real_escape_string($value); } now when i post, SOMETIMES i get an error that says this: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted i figured out that when i do a linebreak, or press enter in the message field, then that is when it causes the error, otherwise it works normal. any ideas?

  • relaunch app when it ends or when it prints out certain text (stdout)

    I have an app which acts almost like a daemon. Sometimes it quits on error and many times it prints an error msg then ask users to press any key to close. How can i relaunch the app when either case happens? I am more interested in the 2nd case. I can do this in c++, C# or python. The script is an old python that i dont want to change (a newer c# version is in the works but not stable)
