  • disable Opera function key in javascript

    I'm writing javascript code for a web emulator containing function keys. The user is able to press keyboard function keys to process something in the emulator, I used stopPropagation and preventDefault javascript function to stop/cancel browsers invoking their function key shortcut (e.g. F1 will invoke Firefox to open its help page) and the code works fine under Firefox and Chrome. But Opera didn't work. I'm using latest Opera 10.5 here. Can anyone help ?

  • Android & Google Maps - close info window with back button

    I have an activity that holds a fragment with Google Map view in it. App adds several dozens of markers to the MapView, using MarkerManager and ClusterRenderer to form clusters. The problem is that when I have marker's InfoWindow opened and I press hardware Back button, it closes the app. Instead of that, I would like to have the InfoWindow closed. Is there any straightforward way to achieve this?

So Notepad can get the text without any color or font...etc, and you still can keep the original format when you paste in another Wordpad window.     I have a page which contains following components: 1 Button 1 drop down list using jQuery 1 button whose on click event changes a text box value using jQuery 2 another buttons shown on hover If I change the dropdown value, or press a button, then the page is re-rendered by ajax. After that, jQuery does not work anymore. If I refresh the page, then jQuery works fine. How is this caused and how can I solve it?

    I use two monitors. The second one has a browser open. I use Visual studio in the first monitor and making edits to the web page. Would love to press a key and instantly see the change in the browser. Basically doing a refresh in the browser behind the scene and still keep window focus in the editor. Instead of keep switching to the browser, refresh, switch back to VS. Any better ideas than using a keyboard recorder like AutoPilot?

But even if a class-file is included and the methods are public and there's phpDoc used, NetBeans everytime shows "No Suggestions" in the window. E.g.     so I have my PHP file (it all works fine the php side of it I know this for a fact) located in xampp's htdocs 'contact.php' so In my webpage I have it linked up to there "http://localhost/contact.php" however when I press the button and it runs the php i get "Not Found HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found." am I linking it wrong? have I put it in the wrong folder (should I put it in the php www folder / how do I link that up?) cheers

For instance, when I press the A key it will instead send the Q key. I used http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/CSLLKeyboardHook.aspx this for my hooks and tried to use the SendKeys function, but I get an exception about the garbage collector destroying some object inside the hook class.

    I have implemented ajax on paging but my problem is when i navigate on paging and go to page 1 then on page 2 after that if i press backspace it went to the last page from where it comes instead of going to page 1. I want to know how should i implement paging like stackoverflow have. Further i have noticed that my url doesnt change on paging it remains like Home/Index when im on 1st page or 2nd page or any other page?
