So if this is the requested URL: http://www.domain.com/path/to/ page ? cid=8001&srt=po This URL should be executed: http:// www.xmldomain.com/bla/page ? cid=8001&srt=po &rtype=xslt&xsl=http://www.domain.com/path/to/ page .xsl* $1 should be http://www.domain.com/path/to/ (How can I do this?) $2 should be page $3 should be cid=8001&srt=po Thanks!

I'm doing some trickery with a bunch of Rake tasks for a complex project, gradually refactoring away some of the complexity in chunks at a time. This has exposed the bizarre web of dependencies left behind by the previous project maintainer. What I'd like to be able to do is to add a specific path in the project to require's list of paths to be searched, aka $:. However, I only want that path to be searched in the context of one particular method. Right now I'm doing something like this: def foo() # Look up old paths, add new special path. paths = $: $: << special_path # Do work ... bar() baz() quux() # Reset. $:.clear $: << paths end def bar() require '...' # If called from within foo(), will also search special_path. ... end This is clearly a monstrous hack. Is there a better way?

I have a situation that demands, passing the registry path as a parameter for application launch, say I have IE as default launcher for http types HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\http\shell\open\command\ Default = iexplore %1 Any shell launch of a URL would invoke iexplore <<"URL String". My requirement is additionally pass the registry path as parameter, so when a launch happens (note no change in the launch) iexplore <<"URL String" should translate into something like iexplore <<"URL String" "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\http\shell\open\command\" How should my registry key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\http\shell\open\command\ modified so as to get the extra registry path appended for all shell launches ? I have a VS 2008 web application that I need to capture the full file path (directories and file name) from the selected file. So user selects a file and then clicks on one of the buttons which transfers control to my code for processing. So how do I get the file path? I can get the file name, but not the path. Thanks!

Hello, I created java enterprise application and it consists of ejb module and web application. I have plain old xml file in source packages folder in package "common" in my ejb module. I want to pass this file path in File() constructor for one class in ejb module. How do i do it? If i pass any of the below it doesn't work :- new File("abc.xml"); //this take file from glassfish/domains/domain1 :( new File("./abc.xml"); I don't want to pass hardcode path like /home/administrator/appname/module/etc.. I want the path relative from my ejb module. Please help me. I've tried all things. Actually when i created a class in same folder and then try classname.getResource("abc.xml").getPath() it works fine. But what if i don't have any class in that folder. Waiting for your replies

How to make a plugin for [Path] Finder to browse zip-archives as folders?

What really surprises me is lack of some essential functionality in Finder, when one migrates from Windows to OS X. One of the things is a possibility to open an archive as a folder, i.e. staying in the directory tree and being able to drag and drop files from the archive to folders in the tree, sidebar etc. What would you do to enable such functionality? Update Path Finder is an awesome shareware app, which I am going to use instead of the standard Finder (as quite many Mac users do), so I am more interested in a plug-in for Path Finder to browse archives. There is a possibility to browse packages (check the View Options), so I believe it is possible to extend it to archives. There is also a SDK for making plugins for Path Finder. The only question - how to make the plugin, so all struggling people get finally happy?

Hi, I have been monitoring the parameters a website receives when a file is uploaded (via an input type="file"). Surprisingly, the parameter and its value were looking like this : parameter: upfile value: filename="this is the name of the uploaded file.png" Content-type: image/x-png Now in this POST request to the server page, the file name and its type is passed into a parameter, but what about the path to that filename? Where is that path stored so that the server page can upload the file at the good location? Also, I would like to know if it would be possible by any way to specify a path, NOT to the input type="file" since its impossible, but to the server (though this question probably depends a lot on how the server-side page is scripted). I need to find the last path or circle in a paper, in order to perform further calculations to draw more elements, and calling 'paper.bottom' only gets the last element. Is there any way to get shapes of specific types, e.g. bottom.path, bottom.circle or traverse for the n'th child? I want to avoid using jQuery selectors, as i can't retrieve any properties from those. Jython: Is there any difference between adding to sys.path vs passing -D?

I have a python application that is trying to load some Java libraries (specifically Axis2 web services). When I add the necessary jars in Eclipse via PyDev Project Source Folders, everything seems to work fine. However, I want to be able to do this at run time by adding to sys.path, but then my application doesn't seem to work. In both cases I can load the jars just fine, but something must be different for there to be different results. My question is, is there a difference between adding jars via the sys.path at run time with sys.path.append() versus passing -D to the jython interpreter?

SQL Server 2005: When clicking "Add" database I keep getting 'verify that the path or file exists'

When I right click on "databases" in Sql Server 2005 Management Studio and then Attach... Add I get the following error: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\SQL Server Management Studio\ Projects\Path\To\MDF\And\LDF\Files\ cannot access the specified path or file on the server. Verify that you have the necessary security privileges and that the path or file exists. The answer is easy - the MDF and LDF files where removed when Nant (by way of my dev machine) issued a drop command. But, after replacing the MDF and LDF files, I want to reattach the database but the above error keeps coming up when I select "Add". Also, I have already "unattached" the database in question and it no longer appears on the left under "databases". I have tried to replace a copy of the MDF and LDF files in the folder being referenced and that didn't work. Any ideas as to how to gracefully get rid of this error?

How to have file/folder icons use a relative path?

On my portable hard drive I set icons for almost every organized folder. All these icons are located in an Icons folder located on the root directory of the same hard drive. When I change the drive letter of the hard drive (well I don't, windows does automatically sometimes) these icons are lost. So far this hard drive is assigned to F: While it's not a problem now, it may becomes a problem if I upgrade my computer or get a new one and the F: Drive is already taken up for something else. It's also annoying on networks where F: is mapped to a network drive.

Upgraded users to Win7. Now getting "path not found" when saving files or opening attachments

We have a Server 2008 AD environment with about 5k users. We just rolled out Windows 7 SP1 (were XP) with great success. However, about once a day we get a few calls that a user opens a file from their Documents (the folder is on the server and redirected), edits it and attempts to save but Win7 reports that the path is not found either because it doesn't exist or no permissions. The only way to fix it is to delete the profile. In addition we get about the same number but different users saying that they cannot open attachments from Outlook 2010 due to no permission. We have to edit the temp Outlook storage path in the registry to fix it (or delete the profile). I think the two issues may be related. What scares us is that we rolled out 1 month ago and had no calls of this nature until about 2 weeks ago. It started off as one or two but seems to be growing. Any ideas? We're going to open a Microsoft ticket but I wanted to seenif anyone else has run into this. Thanks!

Why are some of my view not aligned correctly at the bottom of my relative layout?

I have problems getting some of my views aligned in a relative layout that I use inside a row of my listview. Here is a screenshot from the layout builder in Eclipse, this is what I think it should look like: The next image is from the emulator. Now the TestTestTest View is at the top and covers the name and distance Textviews. How can I get the rank of rows relative to total number of rows based on a field?

I have a scores table that has two fields: user_id score I'm fetching specific rows that match a list of user_id's. How can I determine a rank for each row relative to the total number of rows, based on score? The rows in the result set are not necessarily sequential (the scores will vary widely from one row to the next). I'm not sure if this matters, but user_id is a unique field. Edit @Greelmo I'm already ordering the rows. If I fetch 15 rows, I don't want the rank to be 1-15. I need it to be the position of that row compared against the entire table by the score property. So if I have 200 rows, one row's rank may be 3 and another may be 179 (these are arbitrary #'s for example only). Edit 2 I'm having some luck with this query, but I actually want to avoid ties SELECT s.score , s.created_at , u.name , u.location , u.icon_id , u.photo , (SELECT COUNT(*) + 1 FROM scores WHERE score > s.score) AS rank FROM scores s LEFT JOIN users u ON u.uID = s.user_id ORDER BY s.score DESC , s.created_at DESC LIMIT 15 If two or more rows have the same score, I want the latest one (or earliest - I don't care) to be ranked higher. I tried modifying the subquery with AND id > s.id but that ended up giving me an unexpected result set and different ties.

RectangleGeometry with relative dimensions... how?

I'm trying to replicate the nowadays so fashionable "reflex" effect on a controltemplate for buttons I'm creating. The basic idea is to create a rectangle with a gradient fill from white to transparent and then clip some of that semi-transparent rectangle with a rectanglegeometry. The problem is that I don't know how to define a relative rectangle geometry. I kind of worked around width by defining a large value (1000), but height is a problem. For example, it works good for buttons that have a 200 height, but doesn't do anything for smaller buttons. In Windows Forms applications you were able to get to your user's roaming profile directory very easily using the Application.UserAppDataPath property. This folder allows you to store information for your program in a custom folder specifically for your program. The format of this directory looks like this: C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Roaming\COMPANY NAME\APPLICATION NAME\APPLICATION VERSION For example, on my Windows 7 64-bit system, this folder would look like this for a Windows Forms Application: C:\Users\PSheriff\AppData\Roaming\PDSA, Inc.\WindowsFormsApplication1\1.0.0.0 For some reason Microsoft did not expose this property from the Application object of WPF applications. I guess they think that we don't need this property in WPF? Well, sometimes we still do need to get at this folder. You have two choices on how to retrieve this property. Add a reference to the System.Windows.Forms.dll to your WPF application and use this property directly. Or, you can write your own method to build the same path. If you add a reference to the System.Windows.Forms.dll you will need to use System.Windows.Forms.Application.UserAppDataPath to access this property. Create a GetUserAppDataPath Method in WPF If you want to build this path you can do so with just a few method calls in WPF using Reflection. The code below shows this fairly simple method to retrieve the same folder as shown above.
