    Is there a way to get the session info from a remote windows server (Assuming you have admin credentials). For example, if you open Task Manager and go to the Users tab, that is the info I want... User (Session) ID (Session) Status Client Name Session (Name) Programmatic in C# would be best but I could also wrap a cmd line tool.

  • Git repository with only remote branches for production

    On the remote production branch, I don't do any changes, so I don't need any branches. I always want it mirrored to the origin production git checkout origin production works. But, I can't seem to pull after that. Is creating a local branch that tracks the origin production by git checkout -b production --track origin production the only option, or, I'm wondering, if there is any other way.

    When I debug my application I get frequently Launch error: Failed to connect to remote VM even If I try again it doesn't help, I need to restart Eclipse. Edit Not sure yet fully if the symptoms have to do with the fact that I get this error only when I launch Debug without a code modification. Whenever I do a modification to the source code and hit Debug it goes through, but if I don't it doesn't.

However, since my webhosting company offers git hosting (details if you're curious), I'd like to push my entire repo to their servers to have a backup in the cloud in case something bad happens to my local repo.     Hi all, We are using Carrot in our Python project. I wrote a Python script acting as the consumer of the message queue. I invoked this Python script using command line shell in Windows 7 as python consumer.py However, after a while, the running session was aborted and the error is: [errno 10054] An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host The producer session is still running fine on the Linux server. Just wondering how can I fix this and have a long running consumer session on Windows Thanks in advance.

  • Accessing ASP.NET Development Server from another pc on the network

    I would like to test my web app in other browsers. I have installed Virtual PC to do just that. the ASP.NET development server does not allow remote connections so the virtual pc (another computer on the network) cannot access the website. I found this post that was started but there was no solution. I understand that using localhost will not work. I heard about using the machines ip, but how do I get that correct ip? Look at my lynksys router admin? If I were to get as far as getting my IP, im sure that the asp.net dev server does not allow remote connections. How do I enable it to do so?

    Hi I am having a problem, accessing a remote index server catalog. The name of the server has - in it, so i put the index catalog name as: i.e num.num.num.num\name of catalog or an-example-server I get the following error when using an ole data connection to pull results from the index: "Format of the initialization string does not conform to specification starting at index 39" I tried putting single quotes and &qoute; with no luck - anyone have idea? PS. This Microsoft Index Server Question!

    I was making multiple remote calls and they are done sequentially and when I am getting a result event back it's triggering calls to all the methods with ResultEvent as an argument . I am supposed to receive the result event only in the method given inthe event listener but it's triggering calls to all the methods with ResultEvent as an argument .     I have a web service hosted on a web server, I invoke the web service using jquery ajax. The service returns results successfully when invoked locally from the server, but it fails when invoked from a remote client machine (not in the same domain). I see the request fail in the firebug returning error (401 UnAuthorized) and the response has the following error (Request format is unrecognized for URL unexpectedly ending in '/List').
