  Hi, I have an array gathered by componentsSeparatedByString: that looks like the following when I use po in the GDB after the array has gone through componentsSeparatedByString: "\n\t\t <b>Suburb, </b> BAIRNSDALE", "\n\t\t <b>Address, </b> 15K NW BAIRNSDALE", "\n\t\t <b>Reference, </b> MELWOOD/SCHOOL ROAD", "\n\t\t <b>Last Changed, </b> 09/04/10 05, 29, 00 PM", "\n\t\t <b>Type, </b> HOME", "\n\t\t <b>Status, </b> BUILT", "\n\t\t <b>Property Size, </b> 2.00 HA.", "\n\t\t <b>Residents, </b> 2", "\n\t\t <b>First Added Date/Time, </b> 09/04/10 03, 15, 00 PM", "\n\t\t\t" Only problem is, I now can't figure out where to go from here. I need to be able to access each of these items (i.e. type, status, property size) separately rather than just calling the entire array (i.e. currentProperty.status). How do I do this? Also what's with all the n\t\t\t things - how do I get rid of them? Thanks.

  I am using the below code for my WordPress site which is emailing all the form details as an HTML text but I need the details to be written into a PDF first and then have to email the PDF as an attachment. How can I achieve this? This is not a PHP code to use PHP's writePDF modules.   I have a situation where I need to repeatedly execute a stored procedure Now this procedure (spMAIN) has a cursor inside which looks for a value from a table as T1,which has the following structure ID Status ---- -------- 1 New 2 New 3 success 4 Error now the cursor looks for all rows with a status of 'New' Now while processing , if that instance of the cursor encounters an error, another SP say spError needs to be called, the 'Status' column in T1 needs to be updated to 'Error' and spMAIN needs to be called again which again repeats the process, looking for rows with 'new' how do I do it? • Re-tweets and replies with JTwitter

  I have not used Twitter enough to become familiar with its terminology or the way it works, so please help me in understanding the problem I have at hand. I am getting last 20 status updates posted by some Twitter user via RSS feed, the feed XML is parsed and the statuses are displayed in a ListView. Which means that I have the original tweet in a String variable(row of ListView). When I click a ListView item, I get the option of "Re-tweeting" and "post reply". As, I understand it, when re-tweeting I will have to just update my *status* as: RT @orig-poster <original tweet> and when posting a reply I will have to just update my status as: @orig-poster <my tweet> I skimmed through the JavaDocs of the Jwitter library(Twitter class) and found a setStatus(String) method. I dont think I will have to make use of retweet() or reply() functions of the Twitter class in JTwitter library. Is my understanding correct? Please correct me if I am wrong here or missing anything. • Link checker ; how to avoid false positives

  I'm working a on a link checker/broken link finder and I am getting many false positives, after double checking I noticed that many error codes were returning webexceptions but they were actually downloadable, but in some other cases the statuscode is 404 and i can access the page from the browse. So here is the code, its pretty ugly, and id like to have something more, id say practical. All the status codes are in that big if are used to filter the ones i dont want to add to brokenlink because they are valid links ( i tested them all ). What i need to fix is the structure (if possible) and how to not get false 404. • [iphone,twitter] Accessing the Twitter API through a proxy using NSURLConnectionsm, OAuth problem

  I'm having no problems with sending an update directly via hxxps://api.twitter.com/, but the app (for the Iphone, I'm using NSURLConnections) I'm working is supposed to allow the user to select a preferred proxy (e.g. hxxps://twitter-proxy.appspot.com/api/ or hxxps://nest.onedd.net/api/), and I keep getting a 401 error (Failed to validate oauth signature and token) whenever I try to get an access token via these proxies. Even though I send my POST request to the proxy, I am still using the direct url for the api (https:// api.twitter.com/[rest api path]) in the base string. Despite the 401 error message above, the status code I'm actually getting from connection:didReceiveResponse: is 200, probably because it was able to successfully contact the proxy... Is there anything else that I need to consider when using a proxy to access the API? Should anything in the authorization header change, for example? Or the base string? I can manage to connect via Basic Auth without issue, but support for that will be dropped in a month. On a somewhat unrelated note... What are the possible causes of Twitter's error 403, and how do you distinguish between them? Is the only way to differentiate an error due to exceeding the status update limit for an hour (150 per hour) vs for a day (1000 per day) by checking the string reply returned in the response? Is there any way for me to simulate a status update limit error without going through the motions of actually sending 150/1000 tweets?

My problem is that delta indexing works only for the Discussion model and not for the User model. For ex: When I update the 'title' of a discussion, I can see the thinking sphinx is rotating the indices etc. (as is evident from the logs). But when I update the 'first_name' or the 'last_name' of a user, nothing happens. The User model also has a has_many :through association through a model called GroupsUser. I have setup a after_save on the GroupsUser as follows: def set_user_delta_flag user.delta = true user.save end Even this doesn't seem to trigger delta indexing on the User model. A similar setup for the Discussion model works perfectly! Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

  Hi, I am currently building a dynamic url tab system that user can say what urls they want to be displayed on a tabpage control. In the database i have the following columns. userID, int URLName var Enabled bit I am pulling the data back ok but what i am trying do is populate a checkbox list with the urlname and its status on a user options page so they can say what tabs they want displayed. I have wrote the following methods to get the urls and create the checkboxes however i keep getting the following error. ex = {"InvalidArgument=Value of '1' is not valid for 'index'.\r\nParameter name: index"} It reads the first row ok but when it hits the 2nd row that is being returned i get that error. Has anyone got any ideas? • Handling file uploads with JavaScript and Google Gears, is there a better solution?

  So - I've been using this method of file uploading for a bit, but it seems that Google Gears has poor support for the newer browsers that implement the HTML5 specs. I've heard the word deprecated floating around a few channels, so I'm looking for a replacement that can accomplish the following tasks, and support the new browsers. I can always fall back to gears / standard file POST's but these following items make my process much simpler: Users MUST to be able to select multiple files for uploading in the dialog. I MUST be able to receive status updates on the transmission of a file. (progress bars) I would like to be able to use PUT requests instead of POST I would like to be able to easily attach these events to existing HTML elements using JavaScript. I.E. the File Selection should be triggered on a <button> click. I would like to be able to control response/request parameters easily using JavaScript. I'm not sure if the new HTML5 browsers have support for the desktop/request objects gears uses, or if there is a flash uploader that has these features that I am missing in my google searches. • Geolocation and jQuery - Can't post results using ajax

  I'm currently working on a project to make a location-aware site. In essence, the user comes to the page, and their location is found using the HTML5 method and then using jQuery, the location is posted to a page which saves the location/address to a codeigniter session, but if they want to update their location, or change to a different location(IE they want to use their work address as the location instead of their present address), theres a jQuery colorbox that displays and lets them type in a custom address. Everything works flawlessly to get the initial location, but when I try and get the updated location saved, I receive the error "Uncaught TypeError: Object [object DOMWindow] has no method 'lat'" which then Google Chrome references as being an error not in jQuery, but in the file for Google Maps API. • Improving Performance on this Image Creation function

  Hello all, I am making use of GD2 and the image functions to take in a string and then convert that into an image using different fonts at different sizes. The function I use is below. Currently, its pretty quick but not quick enough. The function gets called about 20 times per user and the images generated are always new ones (different) so caching isn't going to help! I was hoping to get some ideas on how to make this function faster. Maybe supply more RAM to the script running? Anything else that is specific to this PHP function? • Output array of XML to plain XML

  I have a script which collects 4 URL's (XML) using CURL and returns an array with 4 items each ocntaining the results of the URL's. Here is the array: array(3) { [0]=> string(41772) "<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <statuses type="array"> <status> <created_at>Tue Mar 30 20:58:53 +0000 2010</created_at> <id>11328253513</id> <text>...</text> <source...</source> <truncated>false</truncated> <in_reply_to_status_id></in_reply_to_status_id> <in_reply_to_user_id></in_reply_to_user_id> <favorited>true</favorited> <in_reply_to_screen_name></in_reply_to_screen_name> <user> <id>1...</id> <name>....</name> </status> </statuses> " [1]=> string(20630) "<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <statuses type="array"> <status> <created_at>Sun Feb 28 14:12:30 +0000 2010</created_at> <id>...</id> <text>...</text> <source>&lt;a etc... How can I easily output the XML from the array? I also need to combine the 3 XML structures into one where begins and ends in between each array.
