Are there any steps to follow this from Apple sites? Is there any possibility to do it without wiping the existing software and files? Thank you. I appreciate your helps.

  • Is it possible to upgrade from a clean install in Windows 8?

    Does Windows 8 support upgrading from a clean install. For example, buying the upgrade key and entering it on a clear install? Or is it functionally necissary to have the version you are upgrading from installed on the computer. The former was the case with Windows 7, but I recal Windows 2000 needed the an installed copy before an update would proceed. I currently have a linux setup and I have the liceanse for Windows 7, but I don't want to have to downoad two 4 GB isos.

Can I install the Windows 7 Pro on the new computer? Would this equate to transferring the original OS (Vista) license to the new machine?

    Oracle's Sun Fire X4800 M2 using the Intel Xeon E7-8870 processor and Sun Fire X4470 M2 using the Intel Xeon E7-4870 processor, produced a world record single application server SPECjEnterprise2010 benchmark result of 27,150.05 SPECjEnterprise2010 EjOPS. The Sun Fire X4800 M2 server ran the application tier and the Sun Fire X4470 M2 server was used for the database tier.        Introduction :          I found two posts in ASP.NET MVC forums complaining that they are getting exception, The type XXX is defined in an assembly that is not referenced, after upgrading thier application into Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4.0 at here and here .   Description :           The reason why they are getting the above exception is the use of new clean web.config without referencing the assemblies which were presents in ASP.NET 3.5 web.config. You can check this yourself by checking Show Detailed Compiler Output: below in the yellow screen of death, you will find something,/out:"C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\root\e907aee4\5fa0acc8\App_Web_y5rd6bdg.dll"             This shows that aspx pages are compiled in separate assembly in Temporary ASP.NET Files.Summary :             After getting the above exception make sure to add the assemblies in web.config or add the Assembly directive at Page level. Hopefully this will helps to solve your problem.

  • How do I fix a corrupted harddrive after failed upgrade?

    The problem originated when I was trying to fix this problem. Things went horribly, horribly wrong and I ended up with a new problem altogether. The last thing I did was run sudo apt-get install and that caused my system to freeze. I restarted my computer and it would not boot from the harddrive. I ran a copy of Ubuntu 12.10 from a flashdrive that I had and ran gparted to see if my partitions were all there. It returned this message: Invalid partition table on /dev/sda -- wrong signature 5208. The drive appeared as a 2TiB unallocated drive with an error. The drive had 4 partitions before (plus random unallocated space). There was a fat32 partition, an ext4 partition which contained ubuntu 13.04/13.10 (I don't even know which one at this point), an extended partition which contained a swap partition for my ubuntu partition (I was meaning to move that ubuntu partition into the extended partition, never got around to it), and another partition (I don't remember how I formatted it). I should also mention this is a 1TB harddrive. So in short, I have a corrupted partition table on my primary harddrive from which I boot from, how can I fix this? While the ORA-600 error is "captured" as a handled exception in the Oracle source code, the ORA-7445 is an unhandled exception error due to an OS exception which should result in the creation of a core file.  An ORA-7445 is a generic error, and can occur from anywhere in the Oracle code. The precise location of the error is identified by the core file and/or trace file it produces.  Looking for the best way to diagnose?   • Lubuntu upgrade to 13.04 killed sound with ALSA. How to troubleshoot?

    After upgrading to 13.04 from 12.10 Lubuntu lost audio playback after unplugging usb soundcard (Polycom) and plugging it back in. Volume control was gray and leading to pulseaudio mixer (not installed) so I uninstalled the pulseaudio package. I also removed and reinstalled the alsa-base package.   • Why can't I connect to a Cisco wireless access point?

    I'm running a Lucid Netbook Remix on my Dell Inspiron 600m and I was not able to connect to the wireless network at the Hacker Dojo in Mountain View yesterday. There were plenty of other people on the network - MS, Mac, and Linux boxes - but my laptop would never get an ip address. I can connect to my home network, which is open, and I've never had a problem connecting at the coffee shop, which uses WPA. The Hacker Dojo is running WPA and we checked the password a number of times but got no love. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
