As a cron command I'm using: php -q http://www.example.com/cron.php?action=getA I also tried this one: php -q /home/myuser/www.example.com/cron.php?action=getA It is not getting executed and not sending any mail. I set the mail ID to my gMail ID. What am I doing wrong?

Suppose the name of the cookie is testcookie. We created this cookie from xyz.com and we set the domain of the cookie as ".xyz.com". Now we are deleting or expiring this cookie from subdomain.xyz.com. We are deleting the cookie with the code we have mentioned above.

    I am using nothing but raw Socket IO. There isn't one HttpURLConnection nor any http client libs in my project.     I think there are a few similar questions that seem to suggest using app_data in the signed request (http://developers.facebook.com/docs/authentication/signed_request/) but I'm not sure if it will be possible to do what I am trying to achieve with it as I've never used it before. If I have my Facebook 'Tab' Url as follows: http://www.facebook.com/pages/PAGE_TITLE/PAGE_ID?sk=app_APP_ID What I want to do is add an extra parameter on the end as follows: &WT.mc_id=email-uk-8014 The reason for this is for tracking purposes and links will be sent out of the form http://www.facebook.com/pages/PAGE_TITLE/PAGE_ID?sk=app_APP_ID&WT.mc_id=email-uk-8014 and the extra parameter will allow us to track the campaign id. As you can see I have no way of knowing the value of the parameter beforehand as it depends on the link clicked by the user so is it possible to somehow get the value of the WT.mc_id parameter inside my iframe app?

    Say I have a htaccess file shared by "dev.server" and "server.site.com". The first domain should allow all users to access it unchallenged (it only exists on my local development server). The second domain I want to authenticate users with Apache (NOT by database). The code to authenticate users is: AuthType Basic AuthName "Server Admin" AuthUserFile "/path/to/passwd" require valid-user What I can't do is make those 4 lines only matter if the domain is "server.site.com". How can I do this? I searched for something like <IfEnv HTTP_HOST "site.server.com"> but had no luck.

    The first error is a warning for complier 'com.apple.compilers.gcc.4_0' I don't know if this is okay and I can just not worry about it. The second tells me that my entitlements file is no longer at that location. I know this and I thought I had correctly updated it in Xcode's info window. This project builds fine in Xcode.     My server has recieved sudden increase in the (read) web traffic, requesting many map image tiles, and apache cannot handle it. Apache cannot even handle the redirections! The average load I get in my CentOS machine is more then 200.. Is there some software out there that can redirect SOME of the traffic, such as only the traffic from specific directory (such as http://example.com/maptiles/abc.png) to a different address (sucha as http://s3.amazonaws.com/mytiles/abc.png) ? can this be done by HAProxy?

    In my AWS Route 53 control panel I simply have 2 A records currently set up for the 'www' and the 'non www' names. Both point to the Elastic IP address associated with my EC2 Instance. This works well and my website is available at both variations but I really want all 'www' to route to the 'non www'. What is the reccomened method, using AWS Route 53, for routing all traffic that comes to... www.example.com to example.com

Now for eg a link is "http://xyz.com/start/tyu/a.html" and another is "http://ert.com/tyu/b.html" while a third link is "http://asdf.com/ghjk/c.html" From the above 3 links (which I have with me using a for clause in a FLWOR expression)...I want only the links which contain within them a string "tyu" to be selected-- I thought of using substring for this, but substring requires start and end positions to be specified- whereas in my scenario, I dont know at which position the desired string will be. How do I do substring matching in such a scenario, i.e. where exact position for occurrence of substring, is not known? I can use XQuery 1.0 for this purpose. Finally, I want to extract the link URL, as well as link text...

    I'm using OpenID much the same as here on StackOverflow to authenticate my users. What I really need to be able to do though is have that OpenID work across all sub-domains of my site. The site behaves much the same as Kijiji in that each region has it's own subdomain calgary.example.com toronto.example.com vancouver.example.com etc When a user logs into "calgary" and later logs into "toronto", they will be forced to "give permission" at the provider, thus resulting in a new OpenID and resulting also in a new login. My app "can" have multiple OpenID's under one account, but that would become cumbersome to manage. Is there a way to have the provider link up to the top level domain and subsequently work across all sub-domains? I'm using DotNetOpenAuth.

  • Favicon to PNG in PHP

    I need a PHP script to convert favicons to PNGs while keeping their original dimensions. I know Google has it's secret icon converter - http://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=http://facebook.com/ but this converts favicons to 16x16 even if they they were originally larger. So basically I need this, minus the shrinking effect. I've also seen this - http://www.controlstyle.com/articles/programming/text/php-favicon/ but I couldn't get it to work after hours of messing around with it. Basically I am trying to automatically grab the icon for a link that will be as large as possible - automatically 48x48 png based on a URL would be the perfect scenario, but I don't know of any humanly possible way to do this given that no websites happen to keep a 48x48 icon in a publicly accessible spot. Does anybody know of a script/service or have a suggestion? Thanks!

  • Issue with Java join() method.

The thing is that I want the main thread to wait for the animation thread to finish and then to continue. I searched around, read a little bit and decided to use the join() method. It perfectly waits for the thread to finish but I doesn't animate correctly. The repaint() method gets called 2 times instead of nine. I think maybe the problem is because I used singletons.
