    I'm using a message listener to process some messages from MQ based on Spring's DefaultMessageListenerContainer. After I receive a message, I have to make a Web Service (WS) call. However, I don't want to do this in the onMessage method because it would block the onMessage method until the invocation of WS is successful and this introduces latency in dequeuing of messages from the queue. How can I decouple the invocation of the Web Service by calling it outside of the onMesage method or without impacting the dequeuing of messages? Thanks,

  • Getting a screenshot of a page using .NET - Need help with code

    I'm writing a specialized crawler and parser for internal use and I require the ability to take a screenshot of a web page in order to check what colours are being used throughout. The program will take in around ten web addresses and will save them as a bitmap image, from there I plan to use LockBits in order to create a list of the five most used colours within the image. To my knowledge it's the easiest way to get the colours used within a web page but if there is an easier way to do it please chime in with your suggestions. Anyway, I was going to use this program until I saw the price tag. I'm also fairly new to C#, having only used it for a few months. Can anyone provide me with a solution to my problem of taking a screenshot of a web page in order to extract the colour scheme? EDIT: Sorry for not getting back to this sooner, but I've been busy with some other things. Anyway, the code seems to work well, but the problem I am having right now is that I am running it within a form, and naturally with Application.Run() being called I cannot run two instances of the same form at once. It recommended Form.showDialog() but that broke everything.     We have a checkbox that is initially disabled and checked. It is then enabled on the client side through javascript. If the user then unchecks the box and presses the button to invoke a postback, the state of the checkbox remains as checked on the server side. This is obviously undesirable behaviour. I'm testing the same codes under 2 different protocols(http & https) in 2 different web servers. http site works just fine, but I get "SoapFault exception: [VersionMismatch]..." error in https. The two web servers almost have the same specs. Is there anyone who can help me with this?

    Hello, I am implementing jQuery tabs on mysite, one of the tabs holds a form and this is my problem, the form is loaded in via ajax as it is used multiple time throughout the site. My issue is that when the form is submitted the page leaves the tabbed area, whereas I need to stay within the tabbed system.     I'm writing a DLL that has function for getting Alfresco login ticket without using user password, using only a user principal name (UPN). I’m calling alfresco REST API service /wcservice. I use NTLM in Alfresco. I’m impersonating users using WindowsIdentity constructor as explained here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms998351.aspx#paght000023_impersonatingbyusingwindowsidentity. I checked and user is properly impersonated (I checked WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent().Name property). After impersonating a user, I try to make HttpWebRequest and set its credentials with CredentialsCache.DefaultNetworkCredentials. I get the error: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() When I use new NetworkCredential("username", "P@ssw0rd") to set request credentials, I get Alfresco login ticket (HttpStatusCode.OK, 200). Is there any way that I can get Alfresco login ticket without user password? I tried implementing my pages' custom error messages using his method, yet there are some problems I can't quite explain. a) When I provoke a 404 Error by entering in invalid URL such as localhost:3001/NonexistantPage, it defaults to the ServerError() Action of my error controller even though it should go to NotFound(). I really like Pure.Kromes approach to implementing these error messages, but if there are better ways of achieving this don't hestitate to tell me. Thanks! *EDIT : * I can directly navigate to my views through the ErrorController by accessing /Error/NotFound or Error/ServerError. The views themselves only contain some text, no markup or anything. As I said, it actually works in some way, just not the way I intended it to work. There seems to be an issue with the redirect in the web.config, but I haven't been able to figure it out.

    I'm using nunit.exe (v2.5.3, as it happens) for our testers to run UI tests of our web site, using WatiN. The regression test suite is up to around 100 tests. While the test suite is running, the test web site could go down for maintenance. It would be more efficient in those circumstances if the test suite would stop altogether, rather than attempting to run each remaining test, and failing. Is there any way to accomplish this?

The Google Drive SDK OAuth Client ID has also been set variously to the Drive SDK and web app Client IDs. but, After enabling both (Api, SDK) in Api access service i am still getting same error.
