    I am making a simple calibration program in C++ using OpenCV. Everything goes fine until I actually try to call CVCalibrateCamera2. At this point, I get one of several errors: If the number of images which I am using is equal to 4 (which is the number of points being drawn from each image: OpenCV Error: Sizes of input arguments do not match (Both matrices must have the same number of points) in unknown function, file ......\src\cv\cvfundam.cpp, line 870 If the number of images is below 20: OpenCV Error: Bad argument (The total number of matrix elements is not divisible by the new number of rows) in unknown function, file ......\src\cxcore\cxarray.cpp, line 2749 Otherwise, if the number of image is 20 or above: OpenCV Error: Unsupported format or combination of formats (Invalid matrix type) in unknown function, file ......\src\cxcore\cxarray.cpp, line 117 I have checked the arguments for CVCalibrateCamera2 many times, and I am certain that they are of the correct dimensions relative to one another. It seems like somewhere the program is trying to reshape a matrix based on the number of images, but I can't figure out where or why. Any ideas? I am using Eclipse Galileo, MINGW 5.1.6, and OpenCV 2.1.

And does any IDE use code smells to any greater extent?   • package is not found, even though it's in both build classpath and runtime classpath

    I am unable to compile a Java program because the compiler cannot find some of the packages needed even though they are in both the build classpath and runtime classpath. Other packages it can find just fine. The image below shows the problem.     I've been running STS 2.3.2 on a MacBook Pro for a few days now. I'm finding the performance to be significantly slower than any other build of Eclipse I've used. For example, switching from one tab to another can take up to 4 seconds. I tried turning off much of the validation, and increasing the memory, but it's not making a difference. Are others having similar experiences?

    Is there a way to make LogCat's output to appear in Console view in Eclipse? LogCat view is much less convenient that Console, because it's hard to see long messages in it (they are trimmed by column border) and there are no clickable highlighting in exception stack traces to quickly navigate to source of error.

    Currently, I have a machine on which I am working in Eclipse, it says that the JRE System Library version is sun-jdk-1.5.0.11 but on my active development machine, it is java-6-sun-1.6.0.16. What is the difference between these two (of course, besides the versioning)? Is there any way I can make the first machine to use the same "java-6-sun-1.6.0.16" version without having sudo permissions on the machine?

    Using Eclipse/Subversive I commanded it to delete a branch of mine. Unfortunately it also took the liberty of wiping out my trunk folder. SVN isn't my strong suit so I am trying to figure out how to get Subversive to move it's head back one revision so the trunk/branch that was deleted re-appears again. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

  • Inspecting variables in Xdebug problems

    I've been using xdebug to do php debugging (netbeans or eclipse). I am usually able to inspect variables OK. However, sometimes when I expand a disclosure triangle for a variable -- typically when the client is making an AJAX call -- it will result in an empty response being returned and causing the AJAX call to fail. Has anyone run into this? Is there a way to make PHP debugging with xdebug more robust? (Not being able to inspect variables defeats the purpose of a debugger. Thanks
