• Can't get JAX-WS binding customization to work

Each element of both the GetBPK, as well as the GetBPKResponse type would be mapped to a method parameter in Java. Unfortunately both GetBPK, as well as the GetBPKResponse have an element with the name "PersonInfo", which results in a name clash. Use a JAXWS/JAXB binding customization to rename the parameter. I have tried several variants of the binding customization, and searched Google for hours, but unfortunately I cannot find a solution to my problem. I suspenct that the childElementName attribute is wrong, but I can't find an example of what would have to be set to make it work. Thanks in advance!

• Mixed-mode C++/CLI crashing: heap corruption in atexit (static destructor registration)

  I am working on deploying a program and the codebase is a mixture of C++/CLI and C#. The C++/CLI comes in all flavors: native, mixed (/clr), and safe (/clr:safe). In my development environment I create a DLL of all the C++/CLI code and reference that from the C# code (EXE). This method works flawlessly. For my releases that I want to release a single executable (simply stating that "why not just have a DLL and EXE separate?" is not acceptable). So far I have succeeded in compiling the EXE with all the different sources. However, when I run it I get the "XXXX has stopped working" dialog with options to Check online, Close and Debug. The problem details are as follows: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Fault Module Name: StackHash_8d25 Fault Module Version: 6.1.7600.16559 Fault Module Timestamp: 4ba9b29c Exception Code: c0000374 Exception Offset: 000cdc9b OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.48 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 8d25 Additional Information 2: 8d25552d834e8c143c43cf1d7f83abb8 Additional Information 3: 7450 Additional Information 4: 74509ce510cd821216ce477edd86119c If I debug and send it to Visual Studio, it reports: Unhandled exception at 0x77d2dc9b in XXX.exe: A heap has been corrupted Choosing break results in it stopping at ntdll.dll!77d2dc9b() with no additional information. If I tell Visual Studio to continue, the program starts up fine and seems to work without incident, probably since a debugger is now attached. What do you make of this? How do I avoid this heap corruption? The program seems to work fine except for this. It seems that the CRT atexit function is responsible, being inadvertently required due to the static initializer. Fix As Ben Voigt pointed out the use of any CRT functions (including native static initializers) requires proper initialization of the CRT (which happens in mainCRTStartup, WinMainCRTStartup, or _DllMainCRTStartup). I have added a mixed C++/CLI file that has a C++ main or WinMain: using namespace System; [STAThread] // required if using an STA COM objects (such as drag-n-drop or file dialogs) int main() { // or "int __stdcall WinMain(void*, void*, wchar_t**, int)" for GUI applications array<String^> ^args_orig = Environment::GetCommandLineArgs(); int l = args_orig->Length - 1; // required to remove first argument (program name) array<String^> ^args = gcnew array<String^>(l); if (l > 0) Array::Copy(args_orig, 1, args, 0, l); return XXX::CUI::Program::Main(args); // return XXX::GUI::Program::Main(args); } After doing this, the program now gets a little further, but still has issues (which will be addressed elsewhere): When the program is solely in C# it works fine, along with whenever it is just calling C++/CLI methods, getting C++/CLI properties, and creating managed C++/CLI objects Events added by C# into the C++/CLI code never fire (even though they should) One other weird error is that an exception happens is a InvalidCastException saying can't cast from X to X (where X is the same as X...) However since the heap corruption is fixed (by getting the CRT initialized) the question is done.

• DLL Config in Mono

  Hi, I'm trying to pick up Svn.NET (http://www.pumacode.org/projects/svndotnet/) library for use in my Mono project. I tried compiling its mockapp - svnmockapp project (http://www.pumacode.org/projects/svndotnet/browser/trunk/SvnMockApp) , I am able to get the references right and get it compiled right. I understand that it references 2 other modules libapr (libapr-1.so.0) and svn_client (libsvn_client-1.so.0) , by which I've created PumaCode.SvnDotNet.dll.config in /bin/Debug . That is all I've done to tried to try to get the mockapp at least outputting something to show that it is indeed interfacing SVN. Nevertheless, it is not working. Commands that are entered that doesn't interface SVN works fine: $ mono SvnTest.exe -usage Usage: SvnTest <subcommand> [options] Short Options: ~?.V Subcommands: add, checkout[co], status[st], update[up] For help on subcommands, use the -?/--help subcommand option. I included all the library and reverince I needed for that. the original code I'm use was for windows application and I'm trying to convert it to asp.net web application. For example the set command will work for my current session only: set path=%path%;C:\Mingw\bin Upon restarting cmd.exe my path string has been reset.   I'm using following makeprg to get my tex files compiled in vim: setlocal makeprg=pdflatex\ \-file\-line\-error\ \-shell\-escape\ \-interaction=nonstopmode\ $*\\\|\ tee\ \/dev\/tty\ \\\|\ grep\ \-P\ ':\\d{1,5}:\ ' which yields great results (errors displayed properly, tex compilation shown while busy,...) Yet, when there are errors and the quickfix window pops up, its status bar is cluttered up with the makeprg string: pdflatex\ \-file\-line\-error\ \-shell\-escape\ \-interaction=nonstopmode\ $*\\\|\ tee\ \/dev\/tty\ \\\|\ grep\ \-P\ ':\\d{1,5}:\ ' Is there a way of changing the quickfix title/statusbar?

• Batch rename folders?

  This is probably a super-simple already solved task, but: I have a series of folders containing eBooks in various formats. They have the folder name format: \Lastname, Firstname (n books)\ I want to rename each of the folders to be simply \Firstname Lastname\ which I'm guessing can be done with a batch file fairly easily, but it's been a very long time since I had to do string parsing so I have no recollection of how. Help? I'm using Windows 7.

The idea is that members can buy "tokens" for real money (which are sort of the website currency) and then they can buy access to some extra content on the website etc. What I want to do is create a Google Checkout button that takes a member to the checkout page where he pays with his credit or debit card. What I want is the Google Checkout to notify notify my server whether the purchase of tokens was successful (if the credit/debit card was charged) so I can update the local database. The website is coded in PHP/MySQL. • GWT Query fails second time -only.

  HI, I have a visualization function in GWT which calls for two instances of the same panels - two queries. Now, suppose one url is A and the other url is B. Here, I am facing an issue in that if A is called first, then both A and B works. If B is called first, then only B works, A - times out. If I call both times A, only the first time A works, second time it times out. If I call B twice, it works both times without a hitch. Even though the error comes at timed out, it actually is not timing out - in FF status bar, it shows till - transferring data from A, and then it gets stuck. This doesnt even show up in the first time query. The only difference between A and B is that B returns very fast, while A returns comparitively slow.   Hi all I have made an upgrade from sps07 to sps10 and I am trying now to make backups of sps10 using the command stsadm -o backup -directory c:\backup -backupmethod full The problem that Occurs is that stsadm crashes when trying todo the backup. Even worse is that when I try just to start stsadm from the command line I get following error. • SP Gridview link button column not working

My first column is Title Column (link button column), when the user click on the link, then one popup window will open with corresponding data. But under XP the logic contained within FireAttackProc gets executed but none of the sound clips play. Is there a quick solution to this so the sound will play under XP? I ask for a quick solution because i am happy being able to execute fully in Vista/Win7 but would be great if there was a quick solution so it would be XP compitable also. Thank you.

  have an action that generates active vacancies. Please note that the view and .ascx control are in an Area. I then created a view by right clicking inside the action and create a .ascx and a strongly typed view of Vacancy. • shell script to start multiple Java programs from a directory at boot

  I'm not sure if this is the best approach to this, It's my first time doing all of this (including writing shell scripts). OS: Centos My problem: I want to start multiple shell scripts at boot. One of the shell scripts is to start my own services and 3 others are for third party services. The shell script to start my own services will be looking for jar files. I currently have two services (will change), written in Java. All services are named under convention prefix-service-servicename What I've done: I created the following directory structure /home/username/scripts init.sh boot/ boot/startthirdprtyservice1.sh boot/startthirdprtyservice2.sh boot/startthirdprtyservice3.sh boot/startmyservices.sh /home/username/services prefix-lib-libraryname.jar prefix-lib-libraryname.jar prefix-service-servicename.jar prefix-service-servicename.jar prefix-service-servicename.jar In init.sh I have the following: #!/bin/sh #This scripts run all executable scripts in the boot directory at boot #done by adding this script to the file /etc/rc.d/rc.local #nohup #run-parts /home/username/scripts/boot/* #for each file in the boot dir... # ignore the HUP (hangup) signal for s in ./boot/*;do if [ -x $s ]; then echo "Starting $s" nohup $s & fi done echo "Done starting bootup scripts " echo "\n" In the script boot/startmyservices.sh I have #!/bin/sh fnmatch () { case "$2" in $1) return 0 ;; esac ; return 1 ; } ##sub strin to match for SUBSTRING="prefix-service" for s in /home/username/services/*;do if [ -x $s ]; then #match service in the filename , i.e. only services are started if fnmatch "$SUBSTRING" "$s" ; then echo "Starting $s " nohup $s & fi fi done echo "Done starting Services" echo "\n" Finally: Usually you can stick a program in /etc/rc.d/rc.local for it to be run at boot but I don't think this works in this case, or rather I don't know what to put in there I've just learnt how to do this by reading up a bit so I'm not sure its particularly the best thing to do so any advice is appreciated. When I run init.sh nohup.out contains Starting the thirdparty daemon... thirdparty started... .... but nothing from myservices.sh and my Java services aren't running I'm not sure where to start debugging or what could be going wrong. Edit Found some issues and got it to work, used -x instead of -n to check if the string is none zero, needed the sub string check to also be if [[ $s = $SUBSTRING ]] ; then and this last one was just stupid, missing java -jar in front of $s Still unsure of how to get init.sh to run at boot though
