• ssh client problem: Connection reset by peer

  I'm having a really annoying problem on my Ubuntu laptop. I noticed it today, after upgrading to Ubuntu 11.04, although I'm not entirely sure this is the cause as I played with my ssh keys a few days ago. I can connect to all these other server from other laptops, and I don't see anything in the logs of the other servers regarding my failed attempt. I tried to stop iptables, didn't help. I tried several tricks I could find online with my /etc/ssh/ssh_config, but I was unsuccessful in solving the problem... Any ideas?   We have contentregexplist file where we can write all substitutions like "source regex"-"dest string" And they ALL run for each page. Is it possible somehow to define a domain name(s) for which (only for 1 domain! not every page) some regexps should be looked for? To be clear: How to replace "Google"-"garbage" in page source only for host host.example.org? May be other content filtering system can do this? Then which one?

  I am trying to record audio by MediaRecorder, and I get an error, I tried to change everything and nothing works. Last two hours I try to find the error, I used Log class too and I found out that error occurred when it call recorder.start() method. • How do I get a JComponent to resize after calling `setVisible(true)`?

  Our application displays a 2D view of our data (mainly maps) and then allows the user to change to a 3D view. The 2D and 3D views are generated by custom C++ code that is SWIG'ed into our Swing GUI and wrapped within a JComponent. These JComponents are then displayed within another parent JComponent. Our problem is that when we change from the 2D to the 3D view and then back to the 2D view, when we resize the window the 2D view does not get resized. The resize events don't get sent to the 2D view. Our application runs under Linux (Fedora 11). We're running Java version 1.6.0_12. Here is some sample code in which I've replaced the 2D view and 3D view with two 2 JButtons, that produces the same behaviour. However, it never, ever shows up in the start menu for anyones computer: Is there some magic string I can type in to get that menu item? Characters will always be three consecutive numbers, and will run from 001 to 999 (until I've done a thousand jobs, which will take years).

• Hibernate without primary keys generated by db?

  I'm building a data warehouse and want to use InfiniDB as the storage engine. However, it doesn't allow primary keys or foreign key constraints (or any constraints for that matter). Hibernate complains "The database returned no natively generated identity value" when I perform an insert. Each table is relational, and contains a unique integer column that was previously used as the primary key - I want to keep that, but just not have the constraint in the db that the column is the primary key. I'm assuming the problem is that Hibernate expects the db to return a generated key.   SQL Server can be connected from local system but can not be connected from remote system in the network. The error code is 40 from Visual Studio and 1326 when I try to connect to SQL Server from Management Studio.   I have a brand new MacBook Air. The reason I mention this is that I want to be clear that I don't think I'm responsible for this problem, as I haven't been hacking up my prefs. Anyhow... When I open Terminal I expect it to show what my PS1 is set to (\h:\W \u\$) however it's not displaying my hostname (Eriks-MacBook), as displayed in System Preferences, it's showing some random string (unknownb88d120cd4b2). We have already expanded the acceptable header size and throttled the cookie sizes for now, but I'd like to figure out what the average client's header sizes are, specifically of the cookies. I've created an apache log that captures the cookies being set on each request: LogFormat "%{Cookie}i" cookies But this just spits out the entire contents of all cookies in the header. Is there a way to have apache just log the size (or just length of the string) per request?

  i'm trying to wrap my head around how to enterprise up my code: taking a simple routine and splitting it up into 5 or 6 methods in 3 or 4 classes. i quickly came up three simple examples of code how i currently write it. Could someone please convert these into an MVC/MVP obfuscated version? Example 1: The last name is mandatory. Color the text box red if nothing is entered. Without any understanding of they why it's being one some way, it makes no sense. And using the words model, view, controller and presenter, like i'm supposed to know what that means, doesn't help. The model is your data. The view shows data on screen. The controller is used to carry out the users actions And oranges taste orangy. Here's my attempt at splitting things up in order to make the code more difficult to follow.
