    I want to write a .htaccess file for redirecting my subdomains and URL's last variable to a new location. Here is what I want to do: http(s)://abc.example.com/books I want my internal URL to be like: http://example.com/?name=abc&type=books I have already gotten the subdomain redirect to work but I am not able to do subdomain with variable in last part of URL. How can I accomplish this?

  • Java - How to pass a Generic parameter as Class<T> to a constructor

    I have a problem here that still cannot solve, the thing is I have this abstract class: public abstract class AbstractBean<T> { private Class<T> entityClass; public AbstractBean(Class<T> entityClass) { this.entityClass = entityClass; }... Now I have another class that inherits this abstract: @Stateless @LocalBean public class BasicUserBean<T extends BasicUser> extends AbstractBean<T> { private Class<T> user; public BasicUserBean() { super(user); // Error: cannot reference user before supertype contructor has been called. } My question is how can I make this to work?, I am trying to make the class BasicUserBean inheritable, so if I have class PersonBean which inherits BasicUserBean then I could set in the Generic the entity Person which also inherits the entity BasicUser. And it will end up being: @Stateless @LocalBean public class PersonBean extends BasicUserBean<Person> { public PersonBean() { super(Person.class); } ... I just want to inherit the basic functionality from BasicUserBean to all descendants, so I do not have to repeat the same code among all descendants. Thanks!.

    I am using fscanf to read a file which has lines like Number <-whitespace- string <-whitespace- optional_3rd_column I wish to extract the number and string out of each column, but ignore the 3rd_column if it exists Example Data: 12 foo something 03 bar 24 something #randomcomment I would want to extract 12,foo; 03,bar; 24, something while ignoring "something" and "#randomcomment" I currently have something like while(scanf("%d %s %*s",&num,&word)>=2) { assign stuff } However this does not work with lines with no 3rd column. How can I make it ignore everything after the 2nd string?

    I might be losing the plot, but I hope someone can point me in the right direction. What am I trying to do? I'm trying to write some base methods which take Func< and Action so that these methods handle all of the exception handling etc. so its not repeated all over the place but allow the derived classes to specify what actions it wants to execute. So far this is the base class. public abstract class ServiceBase<T> { protected T Settings { get; set; } protected ServiceBase(T setting) { Settings = setting; } public void ExecAction(Action action) { try { action(); } catch (Exception exception) { throw new Exception(exception.Message); } } public TResult ExecFunc<T1, T2, T3, TResult>(Func<T1, T2, T3, TResult> function) { try { /* what goes here?! */ } catch (Exception exception) { throw new Exception(exception.Message); } } } I want to execute an Action in the following way in the derived class (this seems to work): public void Delete(string application, string key) { ExecAction(() => Settings.Delete(application, key)); } And I want to execute a Func in a similar way in the derived class but for the life of me I can't seem to workout what to put in the base class. I want to be able to call it in the following way (if possible): public object Get(string application, string key, int? expiration) { return ExecFunc(() => Settings.Get(application, key, expiration)); } Am I thinking too crazy or is this possible? (Person.ID, Name,Address) :: Designation.(Designation.ID, Title, Band) :: SalarySlip (Person.ID, Designation.ID, totalIncome, Tax etc etc.) In the update method the person controller when I assign a person a designation from a list of designation values I want to insert a new record inside SalarySlip. Something like: def update = { def SalarySlipInstance = new SalarySlip() SalarySlipInstance.Person.ID = Params.ID //is this correct?     Is it possible to dynamically set a Spring MVC portlet:actionURL portlet:param using javascript? I have tried with the following code, but the id value always comes across as null to the controller. I have verified that setting the portlet:param manually passes the value correctly: <portlet:param name="id" value="2" /> I have also verified the value in the javascript is being set correctly and is not null. (Note: I've changed the variable names, etc. from the original code to simplify it and obfuscate it since it is my employer's code.) I have the databinding object 'A' and another object 'B'. public class SomeProxy { public SomeProxy(BindingSource A) { var b = new B(); } } public class B { public int SomePropertyFromA{get;set;} //Some autocalculated propeties, that are based on SomePropertyFromA //I want to reculculate them, when the SomePropertyFromA will be changed } 'B' object culculates some values, based on the property 'a' of the 'A' object. I want to bind property in object 'B' to the same property 'a' in 'A'. It's need to handle on changes of the 'a' property, because some UI controls are binded to 'B'-s properties. How can I do this?     Hello, I have list of DateTime values, and for each value I need to fetch something from the database. I would like to do this with one query. I know it's possible to pass a table (list) to the stored procedure, but Im not sure how to write the query itself. Let's say I have the following table: CREATE TABLE Shows( ShowId [int] NOT NULL, StartTime DateTime NOT NULL, EndTime DateTime NOT NULL ) and an array of dates DECLARE @myDateArray MyCustomDateArrayType Now, if I were fetching a single item, I would write a query like this: SELECT * FROM Shows WHERE StartTime > @ArrayItem and @ArrayItem < EndTime where @ArrayItem is an item from @myDateArray . But how do I formulate the query that would fetch the information for all array items? Thanks!

    Hi every one, I have really a problem that I don't know how to deal with it. I am using JSP and Servlet with the Eclipse IDE. First of all, the user fill an html table with the values that he has selected and written in the form. after that he will find his parameters displayed in the html table. the problem now is : the table contains in each row an edit button when clicking on it; the user should have the form automatically filled with values"previously selected" of the row. so it's how to reload the form with variables from html table. Note : I construct the table with a servlet. Please help.

    I've been asking a few questions about strictness, but I think I've missed the mark before. Hopefully this is more precise. Lets say we have: n = 1000000 f z = foldl' (\(x1, x2) y -> (x1 + y, y - x2)) z [1..n] Without changing f, what should I set z = ... So that f z does not overflow the stack? (i.e. runs in constant space regardless of the size of n) Its okay if the answer requires GHC extensions. My first thought is to define: g (a1, a2) = (!a1, !a2) and then z = g (0, 0) But I don't think g is valid Haskell.

    Hello all, I have been told its better to bind events to elements rather than having onclicks with functions everywhere. I agree with this as it devolves more from the HTML which means cleaner and easier to debug code. But I am having trouble doing this! I loop through some data with PHP (see below) and I currently use onclick to call a function.     I'm having some issues with a group by clause in SQL. I have the following basic function: CREATE FUNCTION dbo.fn_GetWinsYear (@Year int) RETURNS int AS BEGIN declare @W int select @W = count(1) from tblGames where WinLossForfeit = 'W' and datepart(yyyy,Date) = @Year return @W END I'm trying to run the following basic query: select dbo.fn_GetWinsYear(datepart(yyyy,date)) from tblGames group by datepart(yyyy,date) However, I'm encountering the following error message: Column 'tblGames.Date' is invalid in the select list because it is not contained in either an aggregate function or the GROUP BY clause. Any ideas why this is occurring? FYI, I know I can remove the function and combine into one call but I'd like to keep the function in place if possible.

  • C# Same DataSource + Multiple DataGridViews = Data Binding Issues?

    Here's what I'm doing: I have (2) DataGridView controls DGV #1 is bound to the DataSet, DGV #2 is bound to a DataView of the SAME DataSet Now, what I'm needing to accomplish here is this: When a user checks a boolean column on the original DGV, the second DGV should now display the newly checked row also. The context is that the first DGV is a master list, and the second one is a "favorite" view of the first. When I check the rows, the favorite column does NOT update. Do I need to use a DataAdapter to actually update the database, or can I operate directly on the DataSet (DataTable) -- or even with the Rows in the original DataGridView?

  • MVC and binding to List of Checkboxes

    Here is my problem. I have a list of models that are displayed to the user. On the left is a checkbox for each model to indicate that the user wants to choose this model (in this case, we're building products a user can add to their shopping cart). The model has no concept of being chosen...it strictly has information about the product in question. I've talked with a few other developers after having gone through and the best I could come up with is getting the formcollection and string parsing the key values to determine whether the checkbox is checked or not. This doesn't seem ideal. I was thinking there would be something more strongly bound, but I can't figure out a way to do it. I tried creating another model that had a boolean property to represent being checked and a property of the model and passing a list of that model type to the view and creating a ActionResult on the controller that accepts a list of the new model / checked property, but it comes back null. Am I just thinking too much like web forms and should just continue on with parsing checkbox values? Here's what I've done for wrapping the models inside a collection: public class SelectableCollection[T] : IList[T] {} public class SelectableTrack{ public bool IsChecked{get;set;} public bool CurrentTrack{get;set;} } For the view, I inherit from ViewPage[SelectableCollection[SelectableTrack]] For the controller, I have this as the ActionResult: [HttpPost] public ActionResult SelectTracks(SelectableCollection sc) { return new EmptyResult(); } But when I break inside the ActionResult, the collection is null. Any reason why it isn't coming through?

I will also need to check if the url has existing parameters. for example "http://mysite.com/index.php?pl=132" will have to become "http://mysite.com/index.php?pl=132&ajax=1" Also, if the link does not have any parameters, for example "http://mysite.com/index.php", it will become "http://mysite.com/index.php?ajax=1" I want to load the jquery script on document ready so all links are changed on page load.
