    I use Eclipse/statet R plug in on Windows. In my home directory, there are .Rtr extension files that automatically generated for every R session. file names like yyyy-mm-dd hh-mm-ss.Rtr. Can someone give me any hint where there files come from? How did I enable it? thanks.

  • how could I store data within a GUID

    I have an application that I want to represent a users session (just small pieces of data here and there) within a GUID. Its a 16 HEX characters (so 16^16 possible values) string and I want to 'encode' some data within that GUID. How can I achieve this? I am really after any ideas and implementations here, Ive not yet decided on the best mechanism for it yet. I would also like encryption to be involved if possible... Thanks a lot Mark

    Hello, I'm creating a voicexml appliacation. I want to store an user input into a global variable. I wondered, the input should be stored in the fieldvar. shouldn't it? After I tried it with this, i tried to store it in an global variable: <assign name="myvar" expr="'myinput'"/> but somehow it didn't work. But in my opinion that doesn't exclude using RDBMS. What might be reasons to use LDAP? I guess that storing multi-valued fields or adding custom fields in LDAP might be easier but it can be done in database too (unless you have many records)
