Hi
Does someone know if if i run PSEXEC (or WMI) N times in the same program -
does it open N new sessions?
or does it uses the same session over and over again?
What are the alternatives to storing data in the HttpContext.Current.Session collection are available, in order to keep track of items for ajax postbacks that are executed via web methods/services?
I have a field URL countryURL; in a Country class. I want to store its data into a COUNTRY table in a database through Hibernate.
Which Hibernate type I should use in the hibernate mapping file
<property column="COUNTRY_URL" name="countryURL" type="..."/>
It is not excepting string and text type.
I use Eclipse/statet R plug in on Windows. In my home directory, there are .Rtr extension files that automatically generated for every R session. file names like yyyy-mm-dd hh-mm-ss.Rtr.
Can someone give me any hint where there files come from? How did I enable it? thanks.
I have an application that I want to represent a users session (just small pieces of data here and there) within a GUID. Its a 16 HEX characters (so 16^16 possible values) string and I want to 'encode' some data within that GUID.
How can I achieve this? I am really after any ideas and implementations here, Ive not yet decided on the best mechanism for it yet.
I would also like encryption to be involved if possible...
Thanks a lot
Mark
Hello,
I'm creating a voicexml appliacation.
I want to store an user input into a global variable.
I wondered, the input should be stored in the fieldvar. shouldn't it? After I tried it with this, i tried to store it in an global variable:
<assign name="myvar" expr="'myinput'"/>
but somehow it didn't work. I used value expr="var" as expr.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<vxml xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/vxml"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.w3.org/2001/vxml
http://www.w3.org/TR/voicexml20/vxml.xsd"
version="2.0">
<var name="myProdukt" />
<form id="test">
<field name="var">
<prompt bargein="true" bargeintype="hotword" >Sagen Sie ein Produkt</prompt>
<grammar root="main" version="1.0" xml:lang="de-DE">
<rule id="main" scope="public">
<one-of>
<item> p1 </item>
<item> p2 </item>
<item> p3 </item>
<item> p4 </item>
</one-of>
</rule>
</grammar>
<filled>
<assign name="myProdukt" expr="<value expr="var"/>"/>
</filled>
</field>
</form>
<<!--[...] Here i want to use the input.-->
</vxml>
thanks in advance
I am making a 2D game in javascript/ajax, that will be using data stored in mysql database. Every user have got his own "area" made of small squares that can have some values. But I have no idea, how to store values of each square in mysql, when each user can have area with different width or height. Do you have some idea?
Assuming that I have the following directory structure for a Python project:
config/ scripts/ src/
where should a fabric deployment script should go? I assume that it should be in scripts, obviously, but for me it seems more appropriate to store in scripts, the actual code that fires up the project.

Hi All,
I am storing a session and a global variable in file1.php. However, when I try to access those from file2.php I get nothing. I am using php 5.1.6.
$_SESSION['abc'] = $a;
$GLOBALS['def'] = $b;
Any idea?
Thanks in advance.
My website runs on a single server. I am caching a DataTable. Each session has a refernce to it's own DataView referring to that DataTable. What I am worried about is when I need to make changes to the underlying datatable will they propagate to each of the sessions references to it.
Or is there a better way to handle this situation.
How do I store recent queries in a database?? I know how to find recent searches which is inserted/modified the database but if it isn't inserted/modified then how do I find recent queries???
Hello all,
I have a form that has text boxes, buttons on it for the user to sign up and sign in. I need to store the entered sign up credentials in any database(Oracle, Service based database, local database). Then when he tries to sign in, entered credentials should be compared with stored sign up values for authentication.
This is done in visual studio, c#.
Can anyone please give me hints or any references?
Thank you

What's the easiest way to store a simple numeric variable on my server and then have a Flash application also hosted on the server read/write the variable?
I've seen various xml solutions, but they look too complex for such a simple job. Is there a way to just read/write a simple text file with just AS3 and no middle-ware?
We are planning on introducing Agile into our development process (a shift from the waterfall we've been using so far). We are leaning towards a hybrid model in whcih the requirements gathering session is comprised of a business analyst, subject matter experts, technical person and a user interface person. The plan is to create user stories that the development team can use in their agile process with 1 month sprints.
Has anyone had experience with a hybrid model? How has it worked for you so far?
I am designing database tables for a master-detail scenario. The specific requirement is that it is necessary to store information about the order of children. I see some possible solutions (like adding a column representing a position in the sequence, or a column with foreign key to the previous child) but I would like to know the best practices how to solve such problems.
Best regards

So I've spent a lot of time making an iPhone game and have recently realized that I don't have to limit myself to just Apple - I know there are app stores for Palm and Android, but does anybody know of a good "app store" for the plain old PC? I would like to have one where individual developers can publish an app and not have to worry about all the billing and piracy issues!
Does any one know of an example on how to store an image in a SQL Server CE database?
What data type should the column be? (I am guessing binary.)
I use Linq-To-Datasets. Is it possible using that to put the image into the database and pull it out again later?
Thanks for any advice.
It is often said that using LDAP is a good way to store data about users. That's beacause users' "directory" is hierarchical and it changes rarely. But in my opinion that doesn't exclude using RDBMS. What might be reasons to use LDAP? I guess that storing multi-valued fields or adding custom fields in LDAP might be easier but it can be done in database too (unless you have many records)
When users subscribe to the newsletter on A Magento Store they receive a confirmation email. Is it possible to prevent this email from being sent?
There doesn't seem to be an option in the back end for this.
Is this a probable security flaw. A user in public (lets say Starbucks) tries to log in to iOS application. He enters user id and password [Password is hidden using xxxxxxxx (not exposed)] and a call comes in or he presses home and the application goes to background.
a) Does iOS store an image of current screen
b) A malicious hacker with intent takes control of the device. Can he read the password ?
Do we have to clear out sensitive information while going to background
