    I'd like to have a macro in Visual Studio 2005 that calls a DOS command and redirects the output (stdout and stderr) to a file. Just calling the command and "" redirecting it will not capture stderr, so there are two parts to this: calling a DOS command capturing both stderr and stdout to a file during that call I'd then like to open this file in Visual Studio after the command completes. I'm new to Visual Studio 2005 macro writing, and VB/VBA, so that's the kind of help that I'm looking for. Thanks, Mark

    I have several compiled python modules; they are put into a single .so (to avoid runtime linking, there are cross-module symbol dependencies), but a number of symlinks points to this .so: libfoo.so -> liball.so libbar.so -> liball.so liball.so This way, I can do import foo (Python will call initfoo() defined in liball.so) or import bar (calls initbar()). I am wondering if this approach will work on Windows?

  • When using Javascript, is there an Apex built in to get the value of a radio group?

    Friends, My apex page has several different radio groups, each one can have the value of Yes or No. When the user presses a button I need to capture the values of these radio groups in the javascript processing for the page and then "do stuff" dependent on their values. Is there an Apex Javascript API that I could utilise to obtain the values? or will I need to implement a function similiar to this? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

    I'm using Eclipse's create InstallOptions menu to create a custom INI page with radio-buttons for repackaging the Blackberry Desktop installer. There are 2 sections for each type: "Internet" and "Enterprise". I need a user to select 1 of the 2 options and depending on their selection, the page will carry over the selection chosen in the custom page, jump to the INSTFILES page, and continue onto the end.     Hi, i have a doubt about Socket Programming, i am developing a TCP packets Sniffer, i am using Socket.BeginAccept, Socket.BeginReceive to capture every packet, but when a packet is received i have to process something, it is a fast operation, but would take some milliseconds, and then call the BeginReceive again. My question is, what would happen if some packets are sent while i am processing, and havent called BeginReceive??...are lost?...are buffered internally?...is there a limit?... Thanks in advance.

    I have found some broken threads across the web where people claim to be able to use receive shapes in an orchestration with XLANGMessage types to receive flat file schema files that could not be assembled into a specific xsd. I've attempted to set the messagetype in the receive shape as Microsoft.XLANGS.BaseTypes.XLANGMessage, but this basetype is not serializable. This then causes a build error. Is there an object type that can capture both XmlDocuments of well formed xml messages as well as malformed xml and non-assembled flat files?
