  • SharePoint 2010: CheckSuspiciousPhysicalPath exception

    - by Tommy Jakobsen
    I just installed SharePoint 2010 on my Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 server with SQL Server 2008. Everything is installed on this single server, and I configured SharePoint 2010 as described here: http://sharepoint.microsoft.com/blogs/fromthefield/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=112 Everything installed correct, and the SQL databases were created. But when I try to access the administration site through http://server:47632/_admin/adminconfigintro.aspx, I get the following exception: [HttpException] at System.Web.Util.FileUtil.CheckSuspiciousPhysicalPath(String physicalPath) at System.Web.CachedPathData.GetConfigPathData(String configPath) at System.Web.CachedPathData.GetConfigPathData(String configPath) at System.Web.CachedPathData.GetConfigPathData(String configPath) at System.Web.HttpContext.GetFilePathData() at System.Web.Configuration.CustomErrorsSection.GetSettings(HttpContext context, Boolean canThrow) at System.Web.HttpResponse.ReportRuntimeError(Exception e, Boolean canThrow, Boolean localExecute) at System.Web.HttpRuntime.FinishRequest(HttpWorkerRequest wr, HttpContext context, Exception e) The same error occurs when accessing http://server:47632/. Do you have any ideas whats causing this? I haven't been able to find anything about this issue. Edit 1: I just tried reinstalling SharePoint 2010 while monitoring the error log. When I run the configuration wizard, the following errors show up in the event log: The site /sites/Help could not be created. The following exception occurred: Dependency feature with id 5f3b0127-2f1d-4cfd-8dd2-85ad1fb00bfc for feature 'BaseSite' (id: b21b090c-c796-4b0f-ac0f-7ef1659c20ae) is not installed.. • Routing audio to Bluetooth Headset (non-A2DP) on Android

    - by Jayesh
    I have a non-A2DP single ear BT headset (Plantronics 510) and would like to use it with my Android HTC Magic to listen to low quality audio like podcasts/audio books. After much googling I found that only phone call audio can be routed to the non-A2DP BT headsets. (I would like to know if you have found a ready solution to route all kinds of audio to non-A2DP BT headsets) So I figured, somehow programmatically I can channel the audio to the stream that carries phone call audio. This way I will fool the phone to carry my mp3 audio to my BT headset. I wrote following simple code. import android.content.*; import android.app.Activity; import android.os.Bundle; import android.media.*; import java.io.*; import android.util.Log; public class BTAudioActivity extends Activity { private static final String TAG = "BTAudioActivity"; private MediaPlayer mPlayer = null; private AudioManager amanager = null; @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.main); amanager = (AudioManager) getSystemService(Context.AUDIO_SERVICE); amanager.setBluetoothScoOn(true); amanager.setMode(AudioManager.MODE_IN_CALL); mPlayer = new MediaPlayer(); try { mPlayer.setDataSource(new FileInputStream( "/sdcard/sample.mp3").getFD()); mPlayer.setAudioStreamType(AudioManager.STREAM_VOICE_CALL); mPlayer.prepare(); mPlayer.start(); } catch(Exception e) { Log.e(TAG, e.toString()); } } @Override public void onDestroy() { mPlayer.stop(); amanager.setMode(AudioManager.MODE_NORMAL); amanager.setBluetoothScoOn(false); super.onDestroy(); } } As you can see I tried combinations of various methods that I thought will fool the phone to believe my audio is a phone call: Using MediaPlayer's setAudioStreamType(STREAM_VOICE_CALL) using AudioManager's setBluetoothScoOn(true) using AudioManager's setMode(MODE_IN_CALL) But none of the above worked. If I remove the AudioManager calls in the above code, the audio plays from speaker and if I replace them as shown above then the audio stops coming from speakers, but it doesn't come through the BT headset. So this might be a partial success. I have checked that the BT headset works alright with phone calls. There must be a reason for Android not supporting this. But I can't let go of the feeling that it is not possible to programmatically reroute the audio. Any ideas? P.S. above code needs following permission <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS"/>

  • how do I register a custom conversion Service in spring 3 / webflow 2?

    - by nont
    I've been trying to follow this example and using the reference to guide me, but I'm having no luck. I've defined a converter: import org.springframework.binding.convert.converters.StringToObject; import java.text.DateFormat; import java.text.SimpleDateFormat; import java.text.ParseException; import java.util.Date; public class StringToDateTwoWayConverter extends StringToObject { private DateFormat format = null; public StringToDateTwoWayConverter () { super(StringToDateTwoWayConverter.class); format = new SimpleDateFormat("MM/dd/yyyy"); } @Override protected Object toObject(String string, Class targetClass) throws Exception { Date date = null; try { date = format.parse(string); } catch (ParseException e) { e.printStackTrace(); return null; } return date; } @Override protected String toString(Object object) throws Exception { Date date = (Date) object; return format.format(date); } } and a conversionService: import org.springframework.binding.convert.service.DefaultConversionService; import org.springframework.stereotype.Component; @Component("conversionService") public class ApplicationConversionService extends DefaultConversionService { @Override protected void addDefaultConverters() { super.addDefaultConverters(); this.addConverter(new StringToDateTwoWayConverter()); this.addConverter("shortDate", new StringToDateTwoWayConverter()); } } and configured it: <webflow:flow-builder-services id="flowBuilderServices" conversion-service="conversionService" .../> However, upon startup, I'm greeted with this exception: Caused by: org.springframework.beans.factory.UnsatisfiedDependencyException: Error creating bean with name '(inner bean)': Unsatisfied dependency expressed through constructor argument with index 0 of type [org.springframework.core.convert.ConversionService]: Could not convert constructor argument value of type [com.yadayada.converter.ApplicationConversionService] to required type [org.springframework.core.convert.ConversionService]: Failed to convert value of type 'com.yadayada.converter.ApplicationConversionService' to required type 'org.springframework.core.convert.ConversionService'; nested exception is java.lang.IllegalStateException: Cannot convert value of type [com.yadayada.converter.ApplicationConversionService] to required type [org.springframework.core.convert.ConversionService]: no matching editors or conversion strategy found at org.springframework.beans.factory.support.ConstructorResolver.createArgumentArray(ConstructorResolver.java:687) at org.springframework.beans.factory.support.ConstructorResolver.autowireConstructor(ConstructorResolver.java:195) at org.springframework.beans.factory.support.AbstractAutowireCapableBeanFactory.autowireConstructor(AbstractAutowireCapableBeanFactory.java:993) at org.springframework.beans.factory.support.AbstractAutowireCapableBeanFactory.createBeanInstance(AbstractAutowireCapableBeanFactory.java:897) at org.springframework.beans.factory.support.AbstractAutowireCapableBeanFactory.doCreateBean(AbstractAutowireCapableBeanFactory.java:485) at org.springframework.beans.factory.support.AbstractAutowireCapableBeanFactory.createBean(AbstractAutowireCapableBeanFactory.java:456) at org.springframework.beans.factory.support.BeanDefinitionValueResolver.resolveInnerBean(BeanDefinitionValueResolver.java:270) ... 60 more I'm thoroughly puzzled why its not working. The conversion service implements ConversionService through its base class, so I don't see the problem. Any insight much appreciated!

    Hello i'm trying to generate a proxy class from a local wsdl file with eclipse Galileo and axis 2 1.4 on windows xp . My problem is that i get an error due to an imported schema inside the wsdl . In fact i can download the file from the browser without problems. There's an option to specify a proxy to wsdl2java or someone has resolved this issue ? For the moment i've downloaded the xsd, added it to the project and changed the wsdl to include the relative file (instead of the remote one) , but i'd prefer to avoid this , because the file is a third party service wsdl. thank you in advance for any hint Stefano

  • java 7 upgrade and hibernate annotation processor error

    - by Bill Turner
    I am getting the following warning, which seems to be triggering a subsequent warning and an error. I have been googling like mad, though have not found anything that makes it clear what it is I should do to resolve this. This issue occurs when I execute an Ant build. I am trying to migrate our project to Java 7. I have changed all the source='1.6' and target="1.6" to 1.7. I did find this related article: Forward compatible Java 6 annotation processor and SupportedSourceVersion It seems to indicate that I should build the Hibernate annotation processor jar myself, compiling it with with 1.7. It does not seem I should be required to do so. The latest version of the class in question (in hibernate-validator-annotation-processor-5.0.1.Final.jar) has been compiled with 1.6. Since the code in said class refers to SourceVersion.latestSupported(), and the 1.6 of that returns only RELEASE_6, there does not seem to be a generally available solution. Here is the warning: [javac] warning: Supported source version 'RELEASE_6' from annotation processor 'org.hibernate.validator.ap.ConstraintValidationProcessor' less than -source '1.7' And, here are the subsequent warnings/error. [javac] warning: No processor claimed any of these annotations: javax.persistence.PersistenceContext,javax.persistence.Column,org.codehaus.jackson.annotate.JsonIgnore,javax.persistence.Id,org.springframework.context.annotation.DependsOn,com.trgr.cobalt.infrastructure.datasource.Bucketed,org.codehaus.jackson.map.annotate.JsonDeserialize,javax.persistence.DiscriminatorColumn,com.trgr.cobalt.dataroom.authorization.secure.Secured,org.hibernate.annotations.GenericGenerator,javax.annotation.Resource,com.trgr.cobalt.infrastructure.spring.domain.DomainField,org.codehaus.jackson.annotate.JsonAutoDetect,javax.persistence.DiscriminatorValue,com.trgr.cobalt.dataroom.datasource.config.core.CoreTransactionMandatory,org.springframework.stereotype.Repository,javax.persistence.GeneratedValue,com.trgr.cobalt.dataroom.datasource.config.core.CoreTransactional,org.hibernate.annotations.Cascade,javax.persistence.Table,javax.persistence.Enumerated,org.hibernate.annotations.FilterDef,javax.persistence.OneToOne,com.trgr.cobalt.dataroom.datasource.config.core.CoreEntity,org.springframework.transaction.annotation.Transactional,com.trgr.cobalt.infrastructure.util.enums.EnumConversion,org.springframework.context.annotation.Configuration,com.trgr.cobalt.infrastructure.spring.domain.UpdatedFields,com.trgr.cobalt.infrastructure.spring.documentation.SampleValue,org.springframework.context.annotation.Bean,org.codehaus.jackson.annotate.JsonProperty,javax.persistence.Basic,org.codehaus.jackson.map.annotate.JsonSerialize,com.trgr.cobalt.infrastructure.spring.validation.Required,com.trgr.cobalt.dataroom.datasource.config.core.CoreTransactionNever,org.springframework.context.annotation.Profile,com.trgr.cobalt.infrastructure.spring.stereotype.Persistor,javax.persistence.Transient,com.trgr.cobalt.infrastructure.spring.validation.NotNull,javax.validation.constraints.Size,javax.persistence.Entity,javax.persistence.PrimaryKeyJoinColumn,org.hibernate.annotations.BatchSize,org.springframework.stereotype.Service,org.springframework.beans.factory.annotation.Value,javax.persistence.Inheritance [javac] error: warnings found and -Werror specified TIA!

  • Using Joda DateTime as a Jersey parameter?

    - by HolySamosa
    I'd like to use Joda's DateTime for query parameters in Jersey, but this isn't supported by Jersey out-of-the-box. I'm assuming that implementing an InjectableProvider is the proper way to add DateTime support. Can someone point me to a good implementation of an InjectableProvider for DateTime? Or is there an alternative approach worth recommending? (I'm aware I can convert from Date or String in my code, but this seems like a lesser solution). Thanks. Solution: I modified Gili's answer below to use the @Context injection mechanism in JAX-RS rather than Guice. import com.sun.jersey.core.spi.component.ComponentContext; import com.sun.jersey.spi.inject.Injectable; import com.sun.jersey.spi.inject.PerRequestTypeInjectableProvider; import java.util.List; import javax.ws.rs.QueryParam; import javax.ws.rs.WebApplicationException; import javax.ws.rs.core.Context; import javax.ws.rs.core.Response; import javax.ws.rs.core.Response.Status; import javax.ws.rs.core.UriInfo; import javax.ws.rs.ext.Provider; import org.joda.time.DateTime; /** * Enables DateTime to be used as a QueryParam. * <p/> * @author Gili Tzabari */ @Provider public class DateTimeInjector extends PerRequestTypeInjectableProvider<QueryParam, DateTime> { private final UriInfo uriInfo; /** * Creates a new DateTimeInjector. * <p/> * @param uriInfo an instance of {@link UriInfo} */ public DateTimeInjector( @Context UriInfo uriInfo) { super(DateTime.class); this.uriInfo = uriInfo; } @Override public Injectable<DateTime> getInjectable(final ComponentContext cc, final QueryParam a) { return new Injectable<DateTime>() { @Override public DateTime getValue() { final List<String> values = uriInfo.getQueryParameters().get(a.value()); if( values == null || values.isEmpty()) return null; if (values.size() > 1) { throw new WebApplicationException(Response.status(Status.BAD_REQUEST). entity(a.value() + " may only contain a single value").build()); } return new DateTime(values.get(0)); } }; } }

  • How to get dropdown value using jsp:useBean and jsp:setProperty?

    - by littlevahn
    I have a rather simple form in JSP that looks like this: <form action="response.jsp" method="POST"> <label>First Name:</label><input type="text" name="firstName" /><br> <label>Last Name:</label><input type="text" name="lastName" /><br> <label>Email:</label><input type="text" name="email" /><br> <label>Re-enter Email:</label><input type="text" name="emailRe" /><br> <label>Address:</label><input type="text" name="address" /><br> <label>Address 2:</label><input type="text" name="address2" /><br> <label>City:</label><input type="text" name="city" /><br> <label>Country:</label> <select name="country"> <option value="0">--Country--</option> <option value="1">United States</option> <option value="2">Canada</option> <option value="3">Mexico</option> </select><br> <label>Phone:</label><input type="text" name="phone" /><br> <label>Alt Phone:</label><input type="text" name="phoneAlt" /><br> <input type="submit" value="submit" /> </form> But when I try and access the value of the select box in my Java class I get null. Ive tried reading it in as a String and an Array of strings neither though seems to be grabbing the right value. The response.jsp looks like this: <%@ page language="java" %> <%@ page import="java.util.*" %> <%@page contentType="text/html" pageEncoding="UTF-8"%> <%! %> <jsp:useBean id="formHandler" class="validation.RegHandler" scope="request"> <jsp:setProperty name="formHandler" property="*" /> </jsp:useBean> <% if (formHandler.validate()) { %> <jsp:forward page="success.jsp"/> <% } else { %> <jsp:forward page="retryReg.jsp"/> <% } %> I already have Java script validation in place but I wanted to make sure I covered validation and checking for non-JS users. The RegHandler just uses the name field to refer to the value in the form. Any Idea how I could access the select box's value?

    Hello, I am trying to create a simple chat client using the red5 media server, but I seem to be having a slight hiccup. I am creating a shared object on the server side, and it seems to be creating it successfully. • facebook connect for android returns a blank login screen?

    - by jonney
    Hi, i am trying to use the old facebook connect authentication to authenticate my android client to get the necessary session id's and other credentials thats needed to start using the web service of facebook. the issue i am having is that when my android application launces and tries to load the login page for facebook, that very same login page is blank and it only displays the the facebook logo as the title of the screen. No login fields or buttons are visible leaving me nowhere to login and authenticate a user. i have tried two API's one is facebook connect api for android http://code.google.com/p/fbconnect-android/ and the other one is the official android facebook sdk that is recommended to be used instead of the previous one i have just mentioned https://github.com/facebook/facebook-android-sdk/ . please see the image below of how it looks like on my app. Here is code that uses the latest android sdk facebook: /** * Authenticate facebook network */ private void authenticateFacebook() { // TODO: move this away from this activty class into some kind of // helper/wrapper class Log.d(TAG, "Clicked on the facebook"); Facebook facebook = new Facebook(OAUTH_KEY_FACEBOOK_API); facebook.authorize(this, new AuthorizeListener()); } class AuthorizeListener implements DialogListener{ @Override public void onComplete(Bundle values) { // TODO Auto-generated method stub Log.d(TAG, "finished authorizing facebook user"); } @Override public void onFacebookError(FacebookError e) { // TODO Auto-generated method stub } @Override public void onError(DialogError e) { // TODO Auto-generated method stub } @Override public void onCancel() { // TODO Auto-generated method stub } } And a simple example of how to use it: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/guides/mobile/ My code is more or less identical to the above example. edit: i did not catch what logcat was inputing in my first attempted at my code above but their was no exceptions or warnings thrown at the time. just a blank page. i then tried it again and diddnt touch my code and what happens now is that a loading dialogue view pops up and stays their for a few minutes until the facebook windows disapears and the logcat outputs the error below: 11-18 17:26:19.913: DEBUG/Facebook-WebView(783): Webview loading URL: https://www.facebook.com/dialog/oauth?type=user_agent&redirect_uri=fbconnect%3A%2F%2Fsuccess&display=touch&client_id=e??????????????????? 11-18 17:27:01.756: DEBUG/Facebook-authorize(783): Login failed: com.kc.unity.agent.util.oauth.facebook.DialogError: The connection to the server was unsuccessful. 11-18 17:27:01.783: DEBUG/Facebook-WebView(783): Webview loading URL: https://www.facebook.com/dialog/oauth?type=user_agent&redirect_uri=fbconnect%3A%2F%2Fsuccess&display=touch&client_id=??????????????? please note that the client id i have amended for obvious reasons but the rest of the logcat is untouched

  • Remove namespace declarations from web service response

    - by Fernando
    I have a web service that returns a simple object: [System.CodeDom.Compiler.GeneratedCodeAttribute("System.Xml", "2.0.50727.4927")] [System.SerializableAttribute()] [System.Diagnostics.DebuggerStepThroughAttribute()] [System.ComponentModel.DesignerCategoryAttribute("code")] [System.Xml.Serialization.SoapTypeAttribute(Namespace="urn:CHAMADO")] public partial class STRUCCHAMADOOUT : object, System.ComponentModel.INotifyPropertyChanged { private string cODField; private string mSGField; /// <remarks/> public string COD { get { return this.cODField; } set { this.cODField = value; this.RaisePropertyChanged("COD"); } } /// <remarks/> public string MSG { get { return this.mSGField; } set { this.mSGField = value; this.RaisePropertyChanged("MSG"); } } public event System.ComponentModel.PropertyChangedEventHandler PropertyChanged; protected void RaisePropertyChanged(string propertyName) { System.ComponentModel.PropertyChangedEventHandler propertyChanged = this.PropertyChanged; if ((propertyChanged != null)) { propertyChanged(this, new System.ComponentModel.PropertyChangedEventArgs(propertyName)); } } } this class was generated by wsdl.exe, based on a wsdl file provided by the client. This is the web method: [WebMethod(MessageName="CHAMADORequest")] [SoapRpcMethod( Action = "urn:CHAMADO#CHAMADO", RequestNamespace = "urn:CHAMADO", RequestElementName = "CHAMADO", ResponseNamespace = "", ResponseElementName = "return", Use = SoapBindingUse.Literal )] [return: XmlElement("return")] public STRUCCHAMADOOUT CHAMADO(STRUCCHAMADOIN ENTRADA) { STRUCCHAMADOOUT result = new STRUCCHAMADOOUT(); try { string str = Util.GetRequestXML(); persist(getResult<Entidades.Chamado>(str, "ENTRADA", string.Empty)); result.COD = "1"; result.MSG = "Operação realizada com sucesso"; } catch (Exception ex) { result.COD = "0"; result.MSG = ex.Message + Environment.NewLine + ex.StackTrace; } return result; } The client is saying that his system is raising an error because the service response has namespaces declaration, just like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?> <CHAMADOResponse xmlns="urn:CHAMADO" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"> <return xmlns=""> <COD xmlns="urn:CHAMADO">1</COD> <MSG xmlns="urn:CHAMADO">Operação realizada com sucesso</MSG> </return> </CHAMADOResponse> Now, I managed to remove the namespaces from COD and MSG by applying the attriute WebServiceBinding(ConformsTo = WsiProfiles.None) to the service's class and setting ResponseNamespace to an empty string. But CHAMADOResponse still have the namespaces declaration. I'm pretty sure that it should not be done like that. In fact, I don't believe that the namespaces are the problem at all. This project has been hard since the begining, as we had to create services that matched legacy wsdl. My question is: is there a way that I could remove all that namespaces declaration from the web service response?

  • Apache Commons FileUpload Does not behave like expected

    - by Harry Pham
    I just want to assure you guys that before I post this, I have read couple of similar post but none solved my problem. So here it is. I use Ajax taglib for my form since it wont refresh my screen <%@ taglib uri="WEB-INF/taglib.tld" prefix="a" %> <a:AjaxUpload action="UploadServlet"> <input type="file"> <input type="submit" value="Upload"> </a:AjaxUpload> If this is in any confused you guys, then you can think of the above code will create these form, but send request asynchronously. <form action="UploadServlet" enctype="multipart/form-data" method="post"> <input type="file"> <input type="submit"> </form> My first question is, if I add name="file" inside the <input> to make it become like this, <input type="file" name="file">, my servlet will throw an exception. It wont if I take it out. Here is the exception: SEVERE: Servlet.service() for servlet UploadServlet threw exception javax.servlet.ServletException: Servlet execution threw an exception at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.internalDoFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:313) at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.doFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:206) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardWrapperValve.invoke(StandardWrapperValve.java:233) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContextValve.invoke(StandardContextValve.java:191) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardHostValve.invoke(StandardHostValve.java:127) at org.apache.catalina.valves.ErrorReportValve.invoke(ErrorReportValve.java:102) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardEngineValve.invoke(StandardEngineValve.java:109) at org.apache.catalina.connector.CoyoteAdapter.service(CoyoteAdapter.java:298) at org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Processor.process(Http11Processor.java:852) at org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol$Http11ConnectionHandler.process(Http11Protocol.java:588) at org.apache.tomcat.util.net.JIoEndpoint$Worker.run(JIoEndpoint.java:489) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:637) My second question is: On the server side, I check the request to see if it is isMultipartContent, and it is. But then when I parseRequest() and store into List<FileItem> items, the items.size() is 0. Here is my Servlet code FileItemFactory factory = new DiskFileItemFactory(); ServletFileUpload upload = new ServletFileUpload(factory); List<FileItem> items = null; if(request.getContentType() != null && request.getContentType().toLowerCase().indexOf("multipart/form-data") > -1){ if(upload.isMultipartContent(request)){ items = upload.parseRequest(request); //It got to here, but items.size is 0. why????????????? } }

  • Android -- autoLink

    - by Ryan
    Is there any way to Linkify a specific TextView that is contained within a ListView? I tried using android:autoLink="all" but that didn't work. I was getting an out of context error. Important also to note: the ListView is my second view in the ViewFlipper. I have also tried: View mItemView = mAdapter.getView(2, null, null); TextView infoText = (TextView) mItemView.findViewById(R.id.rowText2); Linkify.addLinks(infoText, Linkify.ALL); Right after the adapter was bound to the ListView and the View was switched. No luck. • How to send audio stream via UDP in java?

    - by Nob Venoda
    Hi to all :) I have a problem, i have set MediaLocator to microphone input, and then created Player. I need to grab that sound from the microphone, encode it to some lower quality stream, and send it as a datagram packet via UDP. Here's the code, i found most of it online and adapted it to my app: public class AudioSender extends Thread { private MediaLocator ml = new MediaLocator("javasound://44100"); private DatagramSocket socket; private boolean transmitting; private Player player; TargetDataLine mic; byte[] buffer; private AudioFormat format; private DatagramSocket datagramSocket(){ try { return new DatagramSocket(); } catch (SocketException ex) { return null; } } private void startMic() { try { format = new AudioFormat(AudioFormat.Encoding.PCM_SIGNED, 8000.0F, 16, 2, 4, 8000.0F, true); DataLine.Info info = new DataLine.Info(TargetDataLine.class, format); mic = (TargetDataLine) AudioSystem.getLine(info); mic.open(format); mic.start(); buffer = new byte[1024]; } catch (LineUnavailableException ex) { Logger.getLogger(AudioSender.class.getName()).log(Level.SEVERE, null, ex); } } private Player createPlayer() { try { return Manager.createRealizedPlayer(ml); } catch (IOException ex) { return null; } catch (NoPlayerException ex) { return null; } catch (CannotRealizeException ex) { return null; } } private void send() { try { mic.read(buffer, 0, 1024); DatagramPacket packet = new DatagramPacket( buffer, buffer.length, InetAddress.getByName(Util.getRemoteIP()), 91); socket.send(packet); } catch (IOException ex) { Logger.getLogger(AudioSender.class.getName()).log(Level.SEVERE, null, ex); } } @Override public void run() { player = createPlayer(); player.start(); socket = datagramSocket(); transmitting = true; startMic(); while (transmitting) { send(); } } public static void main(String[] args) { AudioSender as = new AudioSender(); as.start(); } } And only thing that happens when I run the receiver class, is me hearing this Player from the sender class. And I cant seem to see the connection between TargetDataLine and Player. Basically, I need to get the sound form player, and somehow convert it to bytes[], therefore I can sent it as datagram. Any ideas? Everything is acceptable, as long as it works :)

  • Import problem with PyCrypto in Jython

    - by Arg
    Hello, I am currently trying to get python bittorrent tracker running inside of jython and i encountered this problem: the tracker uses PyCrypto library which i compiled for my platform and added into the python path. When i try to run code, however, i get following error: Exception in thread "MainThread" Traceback (most recent call last): File "./python_dep/BitTorrent-5.2.2/bittorrent-tracker.py", line 21, in <module> from BitTorrent.track import track File "./python_dep/BitTorrent-5.2.2/BitTorrent/track.py", line 50, in <module> from BitTorrent.UI import Size File "./python_dep/BitTorrent-5.2.2/BitTorrent/UI.py", line 37, in <module> from BitTorrent.MultiTorrent import UnknownInfohash, TorrentAlreadyInQueue, TorrentAlreadyRunning, TorrentNotRunning File "./python_dep/BitTorrent-5.2.2/BitTorrent/MultiTorrent.py", line 25, in <module> from BitTorrent.Torrent import Feedback, Torrent File "./python_dep/BitTorrent-5.2.2/BitTorrent/Torrent.py", line 32, in <module> from BitTorrent.ConnectionManager import ConnectionManager File "./python_dep/BitTorrent-5.2.2/BitTorrent/ConnectionManager.py", line 22, in <module> from BitTorrent.Connector import Connector File "./python_dep/BitTorrent-5.2.2/BitTorrent/Connector.py", line 27, in <module> from Crypto.Cipher import ARC4 ImportError: cannot import name ARC4 Java Result: 1 I am pretty sure that the library is in the python path, because command import Crypto.Cipher works, while from Crypto.Cipher import ARC4 does not. I am using Maven, CXF 2.2.7, JBoss 4.2.3 and JRE 1.5 I have a Webservice that I can see on the server by using the URL myURL/myService?wsdl I am trying to develop a web app to ping that webservice by calling this in my bean: MyWebService webservice = new MyWebService(); However, it dies and throws the following error, which is very vague: java.lang.ClassCastException: org.apache.cxf.jaxws.ServiceImpl 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at javax.xml.ws.Service.<init>(Service.java:81) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.otherservice.webservice.MyWebServiceService.<init>(MyWebService.java:44) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at net.myservice.beans.MyBean.getMyServiceSoap(MyBean.java:109) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at net.myservice.beans.MyBean.ack(MyBean.java:240) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java:39) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:25) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:585) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.el.parser.AstValue.invoke(AstValue.java:131) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.el.MethodExpressionImpl.invoke(MethodExpressionImpl.java:276) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.jasper.el.JspMethodExpression.invoke(JspMethodExpression.java:68) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at javax.faces.component.MethodBindingMethodExpressionAdapter.invoke(MethodBindingMethodExpressionAdapter.java:77) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at com.sun.faces.application.ActionListenerImpl.processAction(ActionListenerImpl.java:95) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at javax.faces.component.UICommand.broadcast(UICommand.java:383) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at javax.faces.component.UIViewRoot.broadcastEvents(UIViewRoot.java:450) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at javax.faces.component.UIViewRoot.processApplication(UIViewRoot.java:759) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at com.sun.faces.lifecycle.InvokeApplicationPhase.execute(InvokeApplicationPhase.java:97) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at com.sun.faces.lifecycle.LifecycleImpl.phase(LifecycleImpl.java:266) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at com.sun.faces.lifecycle.LifecycleImpl.execute(LifecycleImpl.java:132) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at javax.faces.webapp.FacesServlet.service(FacesServlet.java:244) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.internalDoFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:290) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.doFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:206) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.myfaces.webapp.filter.ExtensionsFilter.doFilter(ExtensionsFilter.java:301) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.internalDoFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:235) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.doFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:206) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at net.faces.filters.AuthorizationFilter.doFilter(AuthorizationFilter.java:84) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.internalDoFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:235) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.doFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:206) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.jboss.web.tomcat.filters.ReplyHeaderFilter.doFilter(ReplyHeaderFilter.java:96) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.internalDoFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:235) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.doFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:206) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardWrapperValve.invoke(StandardWrapperValve.java:230) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContextValve.invoke(StandardContextValve.java:175) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.jboss.web.tomcat.security.SecurityAssociationValve.invoke(SecurityAssociationValve.java:182) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.jboss.web.tomcat.security.JaccContextValve.invoke(JaccContextValve.java:84) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardHostValve.invoke(StandardHostValve.java:127) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.catalina.valves.ErrorReportValve.invoke(ErrorReportValve.java:102) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.jboss.web.tomcat.service.jca.CachedConnectionValve.invoke(CachedConnectionValve.java:157) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardEngineValve.invoke(StandardEngineValve.java:109) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.catalina.connector.CoyoteAdapter.service(CoyoteAdapter.java:262) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Processor.process(Http11Processor.java:844) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol$Http11ConnectionHandler.process(Http11Protocol.java:583) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at org.apache.tomcat.util.net.JIoEndpoint$Worker.run(JIoEndpoint.java:446) 09:25:59,450 ERROR [STDERR] at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:595) I am hoping someone has seen this exception before and can help me.

  • how to use SQL wildcard % with Queryset extra>select?

    - by tylias
    I'm trying to add weights to search terms I'm using to filter a queryset. Using the '%' wildcard is causing me some problems. I'm using the extra() modifier to add a weight parameter to the queryset, which I will be using to inform a sort ordering. (See http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.1/ref/models/querysets/#extra-select-none-where-none-params-none-tables-none-order-by-none-select-params-none ) Here's the gist of the code: def viewname(request) ... exact_matchstrings="" exact_matchstrings.append("(accountprofile.first_name LIKE '" + term + "')") exact_matchstrings.append("(accountprofile.first_name LIKE '" + term + '\%' + "')") extraquerystring = " + ".join(exact_matchstrings) return_queryset = return_queryset.extra( select = { 'match_weight': extraquerystring }, ) The effect I'm going for is that if the search term matches exactly, the weight associated with the record is 2, but if the term merely starts with the search term and isn't an exact match, the weight is 1. (for example, if 'term' = 'Jon', an entry with first_name='Jon' gets a weight of 2 but an entry with an entry with first_name = 'Jonathan' gets a weight of 1.) I can test the statement in SQL and it seems to work well enough. If I make this SQL query from the mysql shell, no problem: select (first_name like "Carl") + (first_name like "Car%") from accountprofile; But trying to run it via the extra() modifier in my view code and evaluating the resulting queryset gives me the following error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "<console>", line 1, in <module> File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/django/db/models/query.py", line 68, in __repr__ data = list(self[:REPR_OUTPUT_SIZE + 1]) File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/django/db/models/query.py", line 83, in __len__ self._result_cache.extend(list(self._iter)) File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/django/db/models/query.py", line 238, in iterator for row in self.query.results_iter(): File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/django/db/models/sql/query.py", line 287, in results_iter for rows in self.execute_sql(MULTI): File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/django/db/models/sql/query.py", line 2369, in execute_sql cursor.execute(sql, params) File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/django/db/backends/util.py", line 22, in execute sql = self.db.ops.last_executed_query(self.cursor, sql, params) File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/django/db/backends/__init__.py", line 217, in last_executed_query return smart_unicode(sql) % u_params ValueError: unsupported format character ''' (0x27) at index 309 I've tried it escaping and not escaping % wildcard but that doesn't solve the problem. Doesn't seem to affect it at all, really. Any ideas?

  • Dynamically select field names in a query with Spring JDBCTemplate

    - by Francesco
    Hi, I have a problem with parameters replacing by Spring JdbcTemplate. I have this query : <bean id="fixQuery" class="java.lang.String"> <constructor-arg type="java.lang.String" value="select fa.id, fi.? from fix_ambulation fa left join fix_i18n fi on fa.translation_id = fi.id order by name" /> And this method : public List<FixAmbulation> readFixAmbulation(String locale) throws Exception { List<FixAmbulation> ambulations = this.getJdbcTemplate().query( fixQuery, new Object[] {locale.toLowerCase()}, ParameterizedBeanPropertyRowMapper .newInstance(FixAmbulation.class)); return ambulations; } And I'd like to have the ? filled with the string representing the locale the user is using. So if the user is brasilian I'd send him the column pt_br from the table fix_i18n, otherwise if he's american I'd send him the column en_us. What I get from this method is a PostgreSQL exception org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: syntax error at or near "$1" If I replace fi.? with just ? (the column name of the locale is unique, so if I run this query in the database it works just fine) what I get is that every object returned from method has the string locale into the field name. I.e. in name field I have "en_us". The only way to have it working I found was to change the method into : public List<FixAmbulation> readFixAmbulation(String locale) throws Exception { String query = "select fa.id, fi." + locale.toLowerCase() + " as name " + fixQuery; this.log.info("QUERY : " + query); List<FixAmbulation> ambulations = this.getJdbcTemplate().query( query, ParameterizedBeanPropertyRowMapper .newInstance(FixAmbulation.class)); return ambulations; } and setting fixQuery to : <bean id="fixQuery" class="java.lang.String"> <constructor-arg type="java.lang.String" value=" from telemedicina.fix_ambulation fa left join telemedicina.fix_i18n fi on fa.translation_id = fi.id order by name" /> </bean> My DAO extends Spring JdbcDaoSupport and works just fine for all other queries. What am I doing wrong?

    When trying to run an Eclipse Dynamic Web Project under a Tomcat setup using WTP, it fails with the attached stacktrace. Checklist At the project properties, under "Java EE Module Dependencies" I have checked the "Maven Dependencies" At the wtp deploy directory, under lib indeed all dependencies are present (esp. struts-taglib-1.3.10.jar) On the other hand, if I package with maven and copy the war file under the webapps directory everything is working as normal. • Disable Autocommit in H2 with Hibernate/C3P0 ?

    - by HDave
    I have a JPA/Hibernate application and am trying to get it to run against H2 (as well as other databases). Currently I am using Atomikos for transaction and C3P0 for connection pooing. Despite my best efforts I am still seeing this in the log file (and DAO integration tests are failing): [20100613 23:06:34] DEBUG [main] SessionFactoryImpl.(242) | instantiating session factory with properties: .....edited for brevity.... hibernate.connection.autocommit=true, ....more stuff follows The connection URL to H2 has AUTOCOMMIT=OFF, but according to the H2 documentation: this will not work as expected when using a connection pool (the connection pool manager will re-enable autocommit when returning the connection to the pool, so autocommit will only be disabled the first time the connection is used So I figured (apparently correctly) that Hibernate is where I'll have to indicate I want autocommit off. I found the autocommit property documented here and I put it in my EntityManagerFactory config as follows: <bean id="myappTestLocalEmf" class="org.springframework.orm.jpa.LocalContainerEntityManagerFactoryBean"> <property name="persistenceUnitName" value="myapp-core" /> <property name="persistenceUnitPostProcessors"> <bean class="com.myapp.core.persist.util.JtaPersistenceUnitPostProcessor"> <property name="jtaDataSource" ref="myappPersistTestJdbcDataSource" /> </bean> </property> <property name="jpaVendorAdapter"> <bean class="org.springframework.orm.jpa.vendor.HibernateJpaVendorAdapter"> <property name="showSql" value="true" /> <property name="database" value="$DS{hibernate.database}" /> <property name="databasePlatform" value="$DS{hibernate.dialect}" /> </bean> </property> <property name="jpaProperties"> <props> <prop key="hibernate.transaction.factory_class">com.atomikos.icatch.jta.hibernate3.AtomikosJTATransactionFactory</prop> <prop key="hibernate.transaction.manager_lookup_class">com.atomikos.icatch.jta.hibernate3.TransactionManagerLookup</prop> <prop key="hibernate.connection.autocommit">false</prop> <prop key="hibernate.format_sql">true"</prop> <prop key="hibernate.use_sql_comments">true</prop> </property> </bean>

  • scalacheck/scalatest not found: how to add it in sbt/scala?

    - by Pavel Reich
    I've installed typesafe-stack from http://typesafe.com/stack/download on my ubuntu12, than I created a play project (g8 typesafehub/play-scala) and now I want to add scalatest or scalacheck to my project. So my_app/project/plugins.sbt has the following lines: // The Typesafe repository resolvers += "Typesafe repository" at "http://repo.typesafe.com/typesafe/releases/" // Use the Play sbt plugin for Play projects addSbtPlugin("play" % "sbt-plugin" % "2.0.1") Then I added scalatest using addSbtPlugin: addSbtPlugin("org.scalatest" %% "scalatest" % "2.0.M1" % "test") and now it fails with the following message when I run 'sbt test' [info] Resolving org.scalatest#scalatest;2.0.M1 ... [warn] module not found: org.scalatest#scalatest;2.0.M1 [warn] ==== typesafe-ivy-releases: tried [warn] http://repo.typesafe.com/typesafe/ivy-releases/org.scalatest/scalatest/scala_2.9.1/sbt_0.11.3/2.0.M1/ivys/ivy.xml [warn] ==== local: tried [warn] ~/.ivy2/local/org.scalatest/scalatest/scala_2.9.1/sbt_0.11.3/2.0.M1/ivys/ivy.xml [warn] ==== Typesafe repository: tried [warn] http://repo.typesafe.com/typesafe/releases/org/scalatest/scalatest_2.9.1_0.11.3/2.0.M1/scalatest-2.0.M1.pom [warn] ==== typesafe-ivy-releases: tried [warn] http://repo.typesafe.com/typesafe/ivy- releases/org.scalatest/scalatest/scala_2.9.1/sbt_0.11.3/2.0.M1/ivys/ivy.xml [warn] ==== public: tried [warn] http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/scalatest/scalatest_2.9.1_0.11.3/2.0.M1/scalatest-2.0.M1.pom What I don't understand: why does it use this http://repo.typesafe.com/typesafe/releases/org/scalatest/scalatest_2.9.1_0.11.3/2.0.M1/scalatest-2.0.M1.pom URL instead of the real one http://repo.typesafe.com/typesafe/releases/org/scalatest/scalatest_2.9.1/2.0.M1/scalatest_2.9.1-2.0.M1.pom? Quite the same problem I have with scalacheck: it also tries to download using sbt-version specific artifactId whereas the repository has only scala-version specific. What am I doing wrong? I understand there must be a switch in sbt somewhere, not to use sbt-version as part of the artifact URL? I also tried using this in my plugins.sbt libraryDependencies += "org.scalatest" %% "scalatest" % "2.0.M1" % "test" but looks like it is completely ignored by sbt and scalatest.jar hasn't appeared in the classpath: my_app/test/AppTest.scala:1: object scalatest is not a member of package org [error] import org.scalatest.FunSuite because the output of sbt clean && sbt test has lots of Resolving org.easytesting#fest-util;1.1.6 or just another library, but nothing about scalatest. I use scala 2.9.1 and sbt 0.11.3, trying to use scalatest 2.0.M1 and 1.8; scalacheck: resolvers ++= Seq( "snapshots" at "http://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots", "releases" at "http://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/releases" ) libraryDependencies ++= Seq( "org.scalacheck" %% "scalacheck" % "1.9" % "test" ) With the same outcome, i.e. it uses the sbtVersion specific POM URL, which doesn't exist. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
