  • Creating a custom device for Swing/AWT to draw to

    I am working on an embedded linux device that requires custom java code to draw to the screen. I was wondering if there was any way to create a custom adapter that can update the display based off our drawing code. I have done some digging and haven't found any information as to how Devices are implemented or plugged into Swing/AWT. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    I am using the webform module for Drupal 6 and would like to set a default value for the confirmation message of the webform whenever it is created. Would I have to create my own module to set this form value whenever a user creates a new webform? Or would I have to implement a special hook to look for when a webform is created?

  • object not found error with dynamic web forms with (jquery) javscript script

    In a normal aspx page I've set up a jquery tab system. When a particular tab shows up I wire up an ajax call to get another html page with the following content. The btnupdate is supposed to show the contents in the update div and load the form for accepting user input. Whenever I hit btnupdate button I get an object not found exception on IE 8. IE 8 asks if it should start up its in-built debuggger. But, even in this debugger I cannot see what the problem is...However on clicking "No" in that dialog the button click function executes properly, and the form is displayed as intended. Is there a better way to resolve the problem?

  • VB.NET handling data between different forms

    Hi, I'm writing a simple application - address book. User enters new addresses and they are added as an entry to a list visible on the main form (frmStart). I use one form to add and edit (AddContForm). Add button on the frmStart works fine, however I experience some problems with the edit button as when I press it and enter new data they are added as new entry however the previous entry is still there. Logic is handled by Contact.vb class. Please let me know how to fix this problem.     i want to show text using quartz 2d. Text will be drawing randomly on different position after each 1 seconds. I am not sure how i can use NSTimer with quartz 2D text. I can draw text in drawRect method where graphics context is already available. How i will draw text using my custom method myDraw which will be called after 1 second using NSTimer? If i create my custom Method the graphics context is not available in that method.

  • django custom management command does not show up in production

    I wrote a custom management command for django. Locally with my dev settings everything works fine. Now I deployed my project onto the production server and the management command does not show up, respectively is not available. But I did not get an error message deploying the project (syncdb). Any ideas where I could try to begin to search? Is there a special command that all custom management commands are "autodiscovered"?

    Hi everyone, I was wondering if converting POST input from an HTML form into html entities, (via the PHP function htmlentities() or using the FILTER_SANITIZE_SPECIAL_CHARS constant in tandem with the filter_input() PHP function ), will help defend against any attacks where a user attempts to insert any JavaScript code inside the form field or if there's any other PHP based function or tactic I should employ to create a safe HTML form experience? Most of the resources I've found mention VS 2008 Pro, and this SO answer mentions that VSTO is not even included in Standard.     I would make to make a small WYSIWYG editor similar to the one used by StackOverflow. Basically, it would have buttons like [quote], and when that button is clicked, [quote] [/quote] should be inserted in the textarea where the cursor is or at the end of all other text. If the [quote][/quote] could be highlighted in some way that would be even more excellent, but its not required. Is there any WYSIWYG editor already available where you can add custom buttons, with custom text being added to the textbox as a result?

Ultimately, I need to export this (into a csv), but if you could give me a query that would output this into a mysql table (or at least a workable select query, that I could then turn into an insert query loop, to create a table), I'd do it form there.   • this.select() and javascript events on forms

    I have a form box that I want to be always selected. I was able to get it to select everything in the box when it is clicked (using onFocus="this.select()") but I want it to be selected 100% of the time. The text in the box will be always changing, so I tried using onChange="this.select()" but that didn't work. Here's what I have: <form> <input type="text" id="txt1" size="30" maxlength="1" onkeyup="showHint(this.value)" onFocus="this.select()" onBlur="this.select()" onChange="this.select()" value="Click here, then press a key"/> </form> Basically I just tried to call everything in hopes that something would work, but it is still acting as if only onFocus="this.select()" is there. By the way, this is for controlling something via keyboard, which is why the maxlength is only 1. I want it to be always selected so that when new key are pressed, the last command will be changed without having to use backspace.
