I want to enable select , copy and paste functions on the loaded swf. Is there a way to do this. How do I get an Canon Pixma MP150 to print?

I succesfully installed my Canon Pixma MP150 printer (and scanner) in Ubuntu 12.04, made it the default printer, but i cannot print anything. Watching the printing queue, i see that the printer receives my documents but just for a few seconds after which the queue gets empty without anything getting actually printed. I tried to print from large pdf's to quite tiny txt files. I reinstalled the printer from cups web-based interface (127.0.0.1:631) but again, no luck. Any ideea on the matter?Read the article

First of all please be aware this post contains some abusive language but I hope it will not bother anyone. I apologize for the bad language but that's what the name is. As I've been doing documentation on existing programming languages attempting to make a complete list of them I stumbled across terrible programming languages, which were clearly not made for actual use and implementation due to their insane difficulty. Languages such as Brainfu*k and LOLCODE or Whitespace are fool languages because they have no real use. For example, a "Hello world" program written in BrainFu*k. In 14.04, how do I print the current keyboard layout?

I have several keyboard entry languages set up, and can easily select the one I want to use from the indicator menu. Once a language is chosen, the menu item "Keyboard Layout Chart" shows me what key generates what. How do I print the keyboard layout chart in Ubuntu 14.04? How can I use Linksys WPSM54G print server as a bridge for another machine AND also share the printe

I have a Linksys WPMS54G currently sharing a printer via the USB port with the rest of my network via the wireless. Is there any way to set it up so that the ethernet port is bridged over the wireless adapter portion? i.e., be able to uplink another machine or switch into the network via the WPMS54G's ethernet port? Update: The network architecture is as follows: (1) Linksys WRT54G router that serves as a router, DHCP server, and wireless access point for the network. Fairly standard configuration (3) Laptops that are used throughout the house via wifi (1) Linksys WPSM54G printer server that connects via wireless to the router, in a separate room with a printer attached to print seerver's USB port along with (1) Un-networked desktop in the same room Since the printer is plugged into the USB port of the WPSM54G, I am wondering if I can connect the desktop to the ethernet port of the WPSM54G and have it bridged over the wifi to the router. The twist here is that the ethernet is initially used to connect the wireless print server to the router (for configuration, can't configure it wirelessly if you are initially on a encrypted network). Now instead of using that ethernet port as a way to connect the print server to the network (via the router), I want to use the ethernet port as a way to connect another computer to the network, in effect bridging into the router via the print server, while still sharing the printer (attached via USB) through the print server. If this is not clear, please comment. To be clear, the computer I want to connect/bridge into the network does not have a wireless card, is far from the router, and I do not want to lay ethernet cable to connect it. While I could certainly buy a legitimate wireless bridge to accomplish this, I figured since the print server already has an ethernet port, see if I can't use that.Read the article

My task was to get the script to deliver the documents and configure the CUPS print server and the Fax server, so I never had the time to get my hands dirty on XSL-FO. I'm thinking of implementing something in the region that was made there but I'll need some templates to work with while testing. XSL-FO: Force Wrap on Table Entries

I'm having an issue where when I publish my modspecs to pdf (XSL-FO). My tables are having issues, where the content of a cell will overflow its column into the next one. How do I force a break on the text so that a new line is created instead? I can't manually insert zero-space characters since the table entries are programmatically entered. How to export an image from Photoshop to PDF while preserving the exact size?

There used to be a PDF export option in Photoshop, but it's gone in CS4. What replaced it is Bridge, however no matter what I do, Bridge ends up resizing my image. The physical dimensions (cm/inches) in the final PDF are not what they are in Photoshop. Any tips on exporting an image without messing up its size? (Clarification: I want the final PDF to contain a page of the size I specify, with a white background, and my image positioned somewhere on this page such that the image width/height in cm is exactly the same in the PDF as it was in Photoshop.)Read the article

How can I automatically restore all open PDF files after rebooting in Windows?

I've tried using "Cache My Work" (http://cachemywork.codeplex.com/), but unfortunately, it only restores one instance of a program that was open upon rebooting. So when I have five separate Adobe Acrobat Pro windows open (each with its own PDF document), when I reboot, Cache My Work will only reopen one of them (not sure how CMW chooses which PDF to reopen, either). Besides switching to another PDF program (like one with tabs), is there a program that can do this?Read the article

I've read a lot about WkHtmlToXSharp (wrapper for wkhtmltopdf) so I downloaded it. The one page that appears to be the only documentation states you only need the wkhtmltosharp.dll, but I can't find it in the file I downloaded. It appears to be several projects, and the thing that looks like a DLL in the Libs/Win64 folder won't load into my project. I'd GREATLY appreciate it if someone could point me to some instructions, and maybe some basic samples. How to use PDFBox 1.0 in .net / C# environment using IKVM

Id like to use PDFBox to generate PDF highlight files in my .net project. PDFBox states that it can be used in .net via IKVM http://www.pdfbox.org/userguide/dot_net.html BUT running ikvmc (latest version) to generate the DLLs on PDFBOX.1.0.0.jar generates a whole lot of NoClassDefFound warnings. How should I fix this, and what other DLLs do I need to include in my project? Problem with auto page break in iReport

Hi... I'm using iReport 3.7. I have a report with two subreports (order details and some selling statistics), and a grouping by seller. One subreport is located in the Detail band of the group, and the other one is in the group footer. What's really odd is that no matter how long the report is, when I export it to PDF it's always one page long. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks in advance.Read the article

Regex matching very slow

I am trying to parse a PDF to extract the text from it (please don't suggest any libraries to do this, as this is part of learning the format). I have already handled deflating it to put it in the alphanumeric format. I now need to extract the text from the text blocks. So, my current pattern is "BT.*?((.*?)).*?ET" (with DOTMATCHALL set) to match something like: BT /F13 12 Tf 288 720 Td (ABC) Tj ET The only bit I want is the text ABC in the brackets. The above pattern works, but is really slow, I assume it is because the regex library is failing to match the pattern that matches the text between BT and the (ABC) many times. The regex is pre-compiled in an attempt to speed it up, but it seems negligible. How may I speed this up?Read the article
