    FormsAuthentication.SignOut(), in so far as I understand it, just kills the cookie in your browser. Ie if cookie to save and after FormsAuthentication.SignOut () use again, the user is authenticated. How to kill a session on the server? Ie make any cookie does not valid? I have ASP.NET MVC. HttpContext.Session.Abandon() does not work.

    I've been struggling to figure out how to best do this regular expression. Here are my requirements: Up to 8 characters Can only be alphanumeric Can only contain up to three alpha characters [a-z] (zero alpha characters are valid to) Any ideas would be appreciated. This is what I've got so far, but it only looks for contiguous letter characters: ^(\d|([A-Za-z])(?!([A-Za-z]{3,}))){0,8}$

    In python (it's a Django filter), I'm doing this: lReturn = re.sub(r'\[usecase:([ \w]+)]', r'EXTEND WITH <a href="/usecase/%s/\1/">\1</a>' % pCurrentProjectName, lReturn) I'd like to use a function instead of a string (so I can check that the usercase is a valid name), so it would change to this: def _match_function(matchobj): lMatch = matchobj.group(1) return "EXTEND WITH <a href='/usecase/%s/%s/'>%s</a>" % (pCurrentProjectName, lMatch, lMatch) lReturn = re.sub(r'\[usecase:([ \w]+)]', _match_function, lReturn) How do I get pCurrentProjectName into the _match_function() function?

    Why Nibernate HQL can not handle the following query: from Deal D where (D.ApprovalDate + INTERVAL 1 Year) < current_timestamp() < (D.RenewalDate + INTERVAL -1 Year) knowing that INTERVAL and YEAR are keywords in MySQL, so this is kind of mixing Sql within Hql (unless Hql can handle date functions like so and I don't know) .   • Which one has a faster runtime performance: WPF or Winforms?

    I know WPF is more complex an flexible so could be thought to do more calculations. But since the rendering is done on the GPU, wouldn't it be faster than Winforms for the same application (functionally and visually)? I mean when you are not running any games or heavy 3d rendering, the GPU isn't doing heavy work, right? Whereas the CPU is always busy. Is this a valid assumption or is the GPU utilization of WPF a very minor operation in its pipeline?

    I was playing around with the rx function for generating regular expressions from sexps in ELISP but couldn't figure out how to generate the regular expression "\\documentclass" for use in org-export-latex-classes: (rx "\\documentclass") (rx "\\" "documentclass") (rx (char "\\") "documentclass") Which when evaluated give respectively the following outputs: "\\\\documentclass" "\\\\documentclass" "[\\]documentclass" Is "\\documentclass" equivalent to "[\\]documentclass"?---I think it is, but am not sure. Can I generate the former using rx? Edit: Whilst the question was valid I realize my motivation was not; because org-export-latex-classes use strings not regular expressions.

  • Calling managed code from unmanaged win32 assembly dll - crash

    I'm developing a serial port dll in win32 assembly (MASM32). It has its own thread checking multiple events and at a specified buffer treshold it'd notify the managed main application by calling a callback function. It just a call with no arguments/return value. At startup the main application stores the callback function's address by calling a function in the dll: pCallBackFunction dd 0 SetCallBackPointer proc pcb:DWORD mov eax, pcb mov pCallBackFunction, eax call DWORD ptr pCallBackFunction ; verify it immediately ret SetCallBackPointer endp The upper function immediately calls back the managed application callback routine for verification purposes. It is working fine. However, when I place the call instruction to other functions in the dll it crashes the application. It doesn't matter if the call is in a simple function or in the threadproc of the dll. For example: OpenPort proc pn:byte,br:dword, inputbuffersize: dword, outputbuffersize:dword, tresholdsize: dword LOCAL dcb: DCB LOCAL SerialTimeOuts: COMMTIMEOUTS call DWORD ptr pCallBackFunction xor eax, eax mov al, pn mov [com_port+3],al etc. etc. will crash at call DWORD ptr pCallBackFunction always. Since I call SetCallBackPointer first to store a valid address in pCallBackFunction, it should have a valid address. But when calling SetCallBackPointer there is no such problem. What am I doing wrong here? Any tips would be great!

    I would like to develop a small notifications application for Windows in .NET that docks on the right/left side of the screen (not consuming more than 300px), should always be visible and force the rest of windows to not overlap this application (something like the old Office taskbar or Vista's Sidebar).   • In gzip libary, what's the difference between 'uncompress' and 'gzopen' ?

    There are some functions to decompress in zlib library(zlib version 1.2.3) I want to decompress my source zip(.gz) file using 'uncompress' function. It is now working(error code -3) but gzopen is. It is still not working when I input payload pointer(passing gzip header) to 'uncompress' . So the question is "What's the valid arguments for uncompress function?" and If it needs different format, how can I make it? Google doesn't helpful this time :(
