• OAuth Consumer request for token from ServiceProvider returns InternalServerError

  I'm playing around with DevDefined.OAuth - an OAuth consumer and provider implementation for .Net http://code.google.com/p/devdefined-tools/wiki/OAuth and on launching the ExampleConsumerSite project after configuring the service endpoints on my IIS 7 web server, I'm receiving the following error: Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. • IErrorHandler doesn't seem to be handling my errors in WCF .. any ideas?

  Have been readign around on IErrorHandler and want to go the config route. so, I have read the following in an attempt to implement it. MSDN Keyvan Nayyeri blog about the type defintion Rory Primrose Blog I have got it to compile and from the various errors i have fixed it seems like WCF is actually loading the error handler. My problem is that the exception that i am throwing to handle in the error handler doesn;t get the exception passed to it. My service implementation simply calls a method on another class that throws ArgumentOutOfRangeException - however this exception never gets handled by the handler. • WCF Stream.Read always returns 0 in client

  I've spent most of my day trying to figure out why this isn't working. I have a WCF service that streams an object to the client. The client is then supposed to write the file to its disk. But when I call stream.Read(buffer, 0, bufferLength) it always returns 0. • Mono-LibreOffice System.TypeLoadException

  In the past I wrote a C# library to work with OpenOffice and this worked fine both in Windows than under Ubuntu with Mono. Part of this library is published here as accepted answer. In these days I discovered that Ubuntu decided to move to LibreOffice, so I tried my library with LibreOffice latest stable release. While under Windows it's working perfectly, under Linux I receive this error: Unhandled Exception: System.TypeLoadException: A type load exception has occurred. [ERROR] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: System.TypeLoadException: A type load exception has occurred. Usually Mono tells us which library can't load, so I can install correct package and everything is OK, but in this case I really don't know what's going bad. I'm using Ubuntu oneiric and my library is compiled with Framework 4.0. Under Windows I had to write this into app.config: <?xml version="1.0"?> <configuration> <startup useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy="true"> <supportedRuntime version="v4.0" sku=".NETFramework,Version=v4.0,Profile=Client"/> </startup> </configuration> because LibreOffice assemblies uses Framework 2.0 (I think). How can I find the reason of this error to solve it? Thanks UPDATE: Even compiling with Framework 2.0 problem (as expected) is the same. Problem (I think) is that Mono is not finding cli-uno-bridge package (installable on previous Ubuntu releases and now marked as superseded), but I cannot be sure. When I publish the web service application to inetpub\wwwroot (Windows 7, IIS7) it does not delete the old files in the Download directory. The app works perfect when I publish to IIS from a physical directory not in wwwroot. Obviously, it seems IIS places some sort of lock on files in the web root. I have tested impersonating an admin user to run the app and it still does not work. Any tips on how to circumvent the lock programmatically when in wwwroot?   I'm trying to get the sample code from Mozilla that consumes a REST web service to work under Firefox 3.0.10. The following code does NOT work in Firefox but does in IE 8! Why is this not working? Does IE 8 have support for XMLHttpRequest? Most examples I've seen use the ActiveX allocation. What should I be doing? XMLHttpRequest seems more standardized. My problem was indeed cross-domain. I was viewing my site unpublished (just on the file system) which was hitting a published service. When I published my site under the same domain it worked. Which also brings up an important distinction between IE and Firefox. When IE experiences this scenario, it prompts the user whether or not they accept the cross-domain call. • L2S DataContext out of synch: row not found or changed

  The Problem I am getting a number of errors that imply that the DataContext, or rather, the way I am using the DataContext is getting out of synch. The error occurs on db.SubmitChanges() where db is my DataContext instance. The error is: Row not found or changed. The problem only occurs intermitently, for example, adding a row then deleting it. If I stop the dev server and restart, the added row is there and I can delete it no problem. Ie, it seems that the problem is related to the DataContext losing track of the rows that have been added. IMPORTANT: Before anyone votes to close this thread, on the basis of it being a duplicate, I have checked the sql server profiler and there is no "Where 0 = 1" in the SQL. I have also recreated the dbml file, so am satisfied that the database schema is in synch with the schema represented by the dbml file. Ie, no cases of mismatched nullable/not nullable columns, etc. My Diagnosis (for what it is worth): It seems to be a problem related to how I am using the DataContext. I am new to MVC, Repositories and Services patterns, so suspect that I have wired things up wrong. The Setup Simple eLearning app in its early stages. Pupils need to be able to add and delete courses (Courses table) to their UserCourses. To do this, I have a service that gets a specific DataContext instance Dependency Injected into its constructor. I want to reuse this PagedList<T> type between the application and the service. My scenario: I've created a PagedList<T> type that inherits from List<T>. • Weblogic server 10.0 - Managed Server shutting down

  We have a weblogic server 10.0 instance which has a cluster with one managed server. Every Monday at 5am (or few seconds after), it shuts down on its own. The logs do not show any errors except the following message: JVM called WLS shutdown hook. The server will force shutdown now. JVM has a -Xnohup option and using JRockit. There is no cron job on the server. I am not sure how to debug this one. Admin Server keeps running with no issues and I am able to start the managed server back up with no problems. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  Hello friends I have a messaging system that uses p2p. Each peer has a incoming message list and a outgoing message list. What I need to do is whenever a new peer will join the mesh he will get the all the incoming messages from other peers and add those into it's own incoming message list. Now I know when I get the other peer info from I can ask them to give their own list to me. But I'm not finding the way how..? Any suggestion on this or help would be highly appreciated.   I wrote a .asmx web service which I'm trying to consume from a java client. I'm using axis2's wsdl2java to generate code. But it says that the wsdl is invalid. What exactly is the problem here? It is .net which generated the wsdl automatically after all. Are there problems with wsdl standards, rather the lack of them? What can I do now?   I've written a rails module that generates some javascript for a google map. As the user makes changes on the webpage, I use observe_field to call back to the server to regenerate the map's javascript (without updating the whole page). I'm having trouble finding a good way to insert the new javascript into the page. I've tried <div id='my_div_1'>div1</div> <%= update_page_tag do |page| page.replace_html 'my_div_1', "<script>alert('hi');</script>" end %> but it seems that replace_html only works for non-script html. It chokes when the content includes the closing < /script tag.   I decided to try this suggestion to install Android x86 on Virtual Box. I'm following those steps and I'm at #4. I used the android-x86-4.0-RC1-amd_brazos.iso (because I have a ThinkPad that this might be compatible with and it seemed as good as any of the other choices...) I'm getting an endless series of errors: .[numbers] VFS: could not find a valid v7 on sda. .[numbers] VFS: could not find a valid v7 on sda. repeating... For storage, I made a VDI image sized at 4.0 GB (dynamically allocated) attached on SATA Port 0. Background and more details: I'm running Kubuntu 12.04. I installed VirtualBox 4.1.12 after adding deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian precise contrib to my sources. EDIT: Now I'm wondering if I installed the right package. I verified that I'm running 4.1.12. But I installed it with apt-get install virtualbox instead of the recommended apt-get install virtualbox-4.1. I checked just now and see this: apt-cache search virtualbox virtualbox - x86 virtualization solution - base binaries virtualbox-4.1 - Oracle VM VirtualBox But when I run VirtualBox, I get the Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager version 4.1.12, so I think I'm OK. I did see one minor issue (possibly related to this question) when installing VB, but in my case I don't think it is actually an error at all: * No suitable module for running kernel found [fail] invoke-rc.d: initscript virtualbox, action "restart" failed. VirtualBox installed and seems to be running fine. I just can't get the ISO image to install. The error is as shown above.

  Hello, I'm running NexentaStor Enterprise on an HP ProLiant DL180 G6 server. The onboard NIC interfaces surface as igb0 and igb1 and work well. However, I've added an HP NC375T 4-port network card using the NetXen 3031 chipset. This card should be handled by the ntxn driver in the SUNWntxn package, but that results in "ntxn0: failed to map doorbell" messages upon boot. The network interfaces don't show up. After some research, I found HP's driver package for the card. The release notes for the driver package state: This version of the Driver is supported only on Oracle Solaris 10 5/09 & 10/09. Oracle Solaris 10 5/09 & 10/09 contain an older version of NetXen P3 driver package called SUNWntxn. So, adding another version of NetXen P3 driver package using pkgadd command might result in conflicts with the NetXen driver binary & related files. Users are advised to uninstall native SUNWntxn driver package before installing the new package.   What is the best way of doing SCP from one box to the other as a sudo user. There are two servers Server A 10.152.2.10 /home/oracle/export/files.txt User : deploy Server B 10.152.2.11 /home/oracle/import/ User : deploy Sudo user : /usr/local/bin/tester all i want is to copy files from server A to Server B as a sudo user... In order to do this, first i normally login as deploy user on the target server and then switch as a sudo user without password. after that SCP to copy file, this is the normal way i perform this activity... In order to auotmate i have written script #!/bin/sh ssh deploy@lnx120 sudo /usr/local/bin/tester "./tester/deploy.sh" I have generated the private key for deploy user, so it allows me to login as deploy user without password. afterthar the sudo command is executed it will switch the user to tester... after that nothing happens.. i mean the script is not getting executed ... is there any way to accomplish this in a different way...

• Update BIOS on Sun Fire X4150 server

  I have some Sun Fire X4150 servers with a very old BIOS release (1ADQW015), which seems to have some compatibility problems with WMware ESX Server 3.5 and Windows 2008 R2 virtual machines; so I want to update the BIOS on them. The problem: according to this page, if your servers run ELOM (mine do), you first need to update to the latest ELOM release, then to the interim transition release, then finally you can update to the latest one. Ok, I'm willing to do that... but it looks like Sun (now Oracle) will happily let you download the latest firmware DVD (3.3.0), but it will not let you download the transition release (2.0) if you don't have a support contract. Well, I actuall don't care at all about the servers' management controllers (we don't even use them), so upgrading from ELOM to ILOM is totally irrelevant to me; but I need to update the servers' BIOS. So my question is: can I update the servers' BIOS to the latest version without doing the full ELOM-to-ILOM migration, or will this not work (or even make the servers unusable)? Do BIOS versions and SP ones need to be matched, or can one be updated without bothering with the other? Bonus question: if this whole ELOM-to-ILOM thing actually is needed in order to update the BIOS, can that 2.0 CD-ROM be obtained without having a support contract with Sun/Oracle (which we are definitely not going to sign, being that quite old hardware)? Update: I tried upgrading only the BIOS on one of the servers, and it didn't boot anymore. So it really looks like a full firmware upgrade is needed, and the management controller and BIOS versions should be kept in sync. So... where can I find that *&!£%$% 2.0 CD-ROM? Or at least the transition firmware that can be found on it?
