I have already found a MatLab code for simulated annealing, so MatLab would be best.     Hi I have a problem reading escape characters inside an xml using. javax.xml.stream.XMLStreamReader for instance I have that tag : <imageURL_large>http://image.shopzilla.com/resize?sq=400&amp;uid=1809235620</imageURL_large> and when I read the value it is read like that : http://image.shopzilla.com/resize?sq=400 Any ideas how that could be fixed ?

    I need to config one SMTP server (sendmail) to send mail with 2 interfaces with different ip's depending server. For example: In same machine with to ip: 1.1.1.1 and 2.2.2.2 i need to send email a@a.com by 1.1.1.1 and b@b.com by 2.2.2.2 I don't now if i can configure it on sendmail, or use iptables, some idea ?     I recently moved a friends blog onto his new web hosts but unfortunately the images are not working. This is due to the old host having the following path for images: http://www.example.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/imagename.jpg The new host uses a different layout and has this path for the file: http://www.example.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/imagename.jpg 'Blog' has been removed. Does anyone know the easiest way to fix this issue?

    There seems to be a strange gap on the left side of the colorbox when it's laying over a Sifr element.     Some sites, like here at SO, allow 'bogus' slugs in the URL. Before implementing URL slugs on my site, I have a question of 'best practices'... Given a structure like example.com/123/article-slug-here/, if my site allows bogus slugs by querying on the ID - Should I ... just do a redirect to the appropriate/canonical URL (verifying the slug, and redirecting in case of a mismatch)? -or- return a 404, since technically example.com/123/this-article-s-u-x doesn't exist?

    Is it possible to manipulate an inbound request at the IIS level, before it even gets assigned to site on the server? Essentially, I want to rewrite this -- www.somegenericdomain.com?site=someotherdomain To this -- www.someotherdomain.com And I need to do this before IIS picks which site the request belongs to, so I need to change the host header prior to this point. Possible, or crazy? We're running IIS7.
