  • Custom Upload Advanced Scripting CMS

    I am looking for a specific content management platform that would display themes for my application. Requirements are as folllows: Any user can upload content, but has to be approved by an administrator When the user uploads the content, an external application is called to generate a thumbnail I could create this using codeigniter or something, but I would much prefer to use an existing system. I have experience with Drupal (seems a little bloated for my needs), and Wordpress (I'm using it as main website right now). Maybe I need a plugin for WordPress instead of another CMS. WordPress currently blocks uploads of my file type. I can modify it, but it's a pain to update it every time WordPress has a new release.

Thoughts? -- EDIT -- After playing with it a bit, I would think it has something to do with referencing the projects. I'm already referencing the TiledLib within my main windows project (TiledTest). However, this doesn't seem to make a difference. I can place the dll generated from the TiledLib project into the debug folder of TiledTest, and this causes it to generate a different error: Error loading "desert".   • Modify PHP Search Script to Handle Multiple Entries For a Single Input

    I need to modify a php search script so that it can handle multiple entries for a single field. The search engine is designed for a real estate website. The current search form allows users to search for houses by selecting a single neighborhood from a dropdown menu. Instead of a dropdown menu, I would like to use a list of checkboxes so that the the user can search for houses in multiple neighborhoods at one time. I have converted all of the dropdown menu items into checkboxes on the HTML side but the PHP script only searches for houses in the last checkbox selected. For example, if I selected: 'Dallas' 'Boston' 'New York' the search engine will only search for houses in New York.   • Can't get heroku site updated on custom domain

    I have hosayif.com registered at GoDaddy, and I set up a cname for rails.hosayif.com to point to my heroku app at sharp-meadow-6535.herokuapp.com. I set this up with a previous app, and it worked. I made a new app, renamed the old one, and then renamed the new one so that it is sharp-meadow-6535.herokuapp.com in hopes of not having to change anything at GoDaddy. In theory, rails.hosayif.com and sharp-meadow-6535.herokuapp.com should be the same site, but they are not. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

How can I do this with a regular expression? Edit: I'm not looking for a magic bullet to handle every edge case in every situation. We should all be weary of using regex to parse HTML but, in this particular case and for my particular need, regex IS the solution...I just need a bit of help getting the right expression.

As you can see, all the nodes are siblings of each-other, so except their name their Xpath is same. Is there any short-hand property ? Does XSLT 1.0 (or Xpath1.0) allows it?

  • Ubuntu 10.04 server delay responding to AJAX requests

    I manage a Ubuntu 10.04 server with a couple of domains hosted on it. As I continue to learn more about all these wonderful new (for me), one issue that I have begun to notice is the delay it sometimes takes for the server to respond to certain requests. As an example, when I view the timeline of events using firebug I can see that most of the time when I make a POST, the server responds in under 100ms. Sometimes, however, there is a substantial delay before the RESPONSE from the server. I can't seem to tell when the delay will happen and when it won't, however, when it happens the delay is always for about 4.5 seconds. The delay seems to happen about 30-40% of the time.     The ssd did not come along with the laptop, so i bought one myself and physically installed it. I've booted into Ubuntu from a USB drive and my goal is to install / and /home in the SSD. (because most of the actual media exists on the HDD) The only problem is i'm unable to detect the SSD while configuring the partitions. I know the SSD is not the problem because it recognizes in a different laptop. I've followed the instructions shown in https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UEFI but that still doesn't help in identifying the SSD partition. Any help would be appreciated. (p.s: I'm wondering if i have to prepare the SSD through windows or something like that)

    I did some googling and figured I'm probably experiencing so called "event bubbling" that I've never heard of but are not surprised by it's existance. I want it to fire only once and I'm wondering how to fix this.     I have an HTML page like so: <html> <body> <div id='something'> ... <script> var x = 'hello world'; </script> ... </div> </body> </html> On another page, I am doing this: $.ajax({ url: 'example.html', type: 'GET', success: function(data) { $('#mydiv').html($(data).find('#something').html()); alert(x); } }); jQuery, however, is not executing the javascript in the first file, even though the documentation says it does. How can I make it do that? EDIT: Unfortunately in the real world application I am working on I don't have control over what the "included" page has. We are on the same domain, but I can't modify the code that it outputs as it is a packaged product our IT department will not let us modify.
