  • Windows cmd.exe output in PowerShell

    - by noledgeispower
    I have a script for remotely executing commands on other machines, however... when using windows cmd.exe commands It does not write to the file on the remote server. Here is the code. $server = 'serverName' $Username = 'userName' $Password = 'passWord' $cmd = "cmd /c ipconfig" ######################## ######################## $ph = "C:\mPcO.txt" $rph = "\\$server\C$\mPcO.txt" $cmde = "$cmd > $ph" $pass = ConvertTo-SecureString -AsPlainText $Password -Force $mycred = new-object -typename System.Management.Automation.PSCredential -argumentlist "$Username",$pass Invoke-WmiMethod win32_process -name create -ComputerName $server -ArgumentList $cmde Credential $mycred cmd /c net use \\$server\C$ $password /USER:$username Get-Content $rph Remove-Item $rph cmd /c net use \\$server\C$ /delete As you can see we simply write $cmde = "$cmd > $ph" if I use a PowerShell command I use $cmde = "$cmd | Out-File $ph" and it works fine. Any advice Appreciated

  • Control pdb file output from build defintion file

    - by Urvi
    Hello, I am trying to generate a release build with no pdb files generated. I have seen numerous posts that suggest right-clicking on the project, selecting Properties, going to the Build tab and then to the Advanced... butoon and changing Debug Info to none. This works and all, but I need to do this for a build of ~50 solutions which contain ~25 projects each! Other posts mention editing the appropriate .csproj file, but again, with so many projects, this would take a long time. Is there any way to achieve this via the TFSBuild.proj file? I have tried adding the following to the TFSBuild.proj file, with no luck. <PropertyGroup> <Configuration>Release</Configuration> <Platform>AnyCPU</Platform> </PropertyGroup> <PropertyGroup> <DebugSymbols>false</DebugSymbols> <DebugType>none</DebugType> <Optimize>true</Optimize> </PropertyGroup> The following line prints out Release|AnyCPU, none, and false, but I still see .pdb file in the $(OutputDir) folder. <Message Text="$Configuration|Platform): $(Configuration)|$(Platform)" /> <Message Text="DebugType is: $(DebugType)"/> <Message Text="DebugSymbols is: $(DebugSymbols)"/> Thanks in advance, Urvi

  • Output to jTextArea in realtime

    - by Robert
    I have some code which takes a few minutes to process, it has to connect to the web for each string in a long array, each string is a url. I want to make it so that everytime it connects, it should refresh the jtextarea so that the user is not staring into a blank page that looks frozen for 20 min. or however long it takes. here is an example of something i tried and didnt work: try { ArrayList<String> myLinks = LinkParser.getmyLinksArray(jTextArea1.getText()); for (String s : myLinks) { jTextArea2.append(LinkChecker.checkFileStatus(s) + "\n"); } } catch (IOException ex) { JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(jTextArea1, "Parsing Error", "Parsing Error", JOptionPane.ERROR_MESSAGE); Logger.getLogger(MYView.class.getName()).log(Level.SEVERE, null, ex); }

  • How to compare the output of serializeArray using qunit

    - by dorelal
    I am using qunit and jquery. Latest version of both. In my code when I submit the form I have the event as e. I call e.serializeArray() Here is my test. equals(args.data, [ { "name": "user_name", "value": "john" } ], 'input data'); And this is the error message from qunit. expected: [ { "name": "user_name", "value": "david" } ] result: [ { "name": "user_name", "value": "david" } ] As you can see to the naked eye the expected and result value is same but qunit is not liking it. I guess I am missing something.

  • OpenGL Vertex Buffer Object code giving bad output.

    - by Matthew Mitchell
    Hello. My Vertex Buffer Object code is supposed to render textures nicely but instead the textures are being rendered oddly with some triangle shapes. What happens - http://godofgod.co.uk/my_files/wrong.png What is supposed to happen - http://godofgod.co.uk/my_files/right.png This function creates the VBO and sets the vertex and texture coordinate data: extern "C" GLuint create_box_vbo(GLdouble size[2]){ GLuint vbo; glGenBuffers(1,&vbo); glBindBuffer(GL_ARRAY_BUFFER, vbo); GLsizeiptr data_size = 8*sizeof(GLdouble); GLdouble vertices[] = {0,0, 0,size[1], size[0],0, size[0],size[1]}; glBufferData(GL_ARRAY_BUFFER, data_size, vertices, GL_STATIC_DRAW); data_size = 8*sizeof(GLint); GLint textcoords[] = {0,0, 0,1, 1,0, 1,1}; glBufferData(GL_ARRAY_BUFFER, data_size, textcoords, GL_STATIC_DRAW); return vbo; } Here is some relavant code from another function which is supposed to draw the textures with the VBO. glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D,GL_TEXTURE_WRAP_S,GL_CLAMP_TO_EDGE); glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D,GL_TEXTURE_WRAP_T,GL_CLAMP_TO_EDGE); glMatrixMode(GL_MODELVIEW); glLoadIdentity(); glColor4d(1,1,1,a/255); glBindTexture(GL_TEXTURE_2D, texture); glTranslated(offset[0],offset[1],0); glBindBuffer(GL_ARRAY_BUFFER, vbo); glVertexPointer(2, GL_DOUBLE, 0, 0); glEnableClientState(GL_VERTEX_ARRAY); glTexCoordPointer (2, GL_INT, 0, 0); glEnableClientState(GL_TEXTURE_COORD_ARRAY); glDrawArrays(GL_TRIANGLES, 0, 3); glDrawArrays(GL_TRIANGLES, 1, 3); glDisableClientState(GL_TEXTURE_COORD_ARRAY); glDisableClientState(GL_VERTEX_ARRAY); glBindBuffer(GL_ARRAY_BUFFER, 0); I would have hoped for the code to use the first three coordinates (top-left,bottom-left,top-right) and the last three (bottom-left,top-right,bottom-right) to draw the triangles with the texture data correctly in the most efficient way. I don't see why triangles should make it more efficient but apparently that's the way to go. It, of-course, fails for some reason. I am asking what is broken but also am I going about it in the right way generally? Thank you.

  • Cruise Control.net Ms Build Task setting XML output Name

    We are running version 1.5.6755.1 of CruiseControl.net. Is there an argument to the Logger that allows me to specify the name of the xml file?

  • Send Logcat output of an App to an EmailAdress

    - by Sebi
    Hi Were now testing our application with a few friends. Sometimes there are some errors which dont throw an exception. So I don't really know whats the problem was. So i thought it would be a good idea to implement a menu item which allows to send the logcat file to a email adress, so that we can examine the logcat. Unfortunately I didnt found a hint in the Internet how to extract the Logcat from a phone. How to send a email shouldn't be the problem.

  • Accessing a module's action rendered output

    - by Flavius
    Hi. I'm writing an "Account" module which should take care of everything about accounts: registration, login/logout, user administration, password recovery, account activation, etc. So I thought it would be best to reuse whatever the module's DefaultController::actionRegister() generates to show on the main page. So my question is: how to create a new "sub request" (similar to CController::forward()) from any controller (either SiteController, read: from views/layouts/main.php, or another controller, eventually of another submodule) to a given module/controller/action? I've tried with $this-forward() from within my application layout without success: it shows a blank page, no error whatsoever. Thanks

  • How to output KML by GAE

    - by Niklas R
    Hi I use KML for a google map where entities have a geopt.db coordinate and soft memory limit was exceeded with 213.465 MB after servicing 1 requests total. The log says /list.kml 200 13130ms 10211cpu_ms 4238api_cpu_ms The file list.kml which outputs about 455,7 KB is a template as follows <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><kml xmlns="http:// www.opengis.net/kml/2.2" xmlns:gx="http://www.google.com/kml/ext/2.2" xmlns:kml="http://www.opengis.net/kml/2.2" xmlns:atom="http:// www.w3.org/2005/Atom"> <Document>{% for a in list %} <Placemark> <name> </name> <description> <![CDATA[<a href="http://{{host}}/{{a.key.id}}"> {{ a.title }} </a> <br/>{{a.text}}]]> </description> <Style> <IconStyle> <Icon> <href> http://www.google.com/intl/en_us/mapfiles/ms/icons/green-dot.png </href> </Icon> </IconStyle> </Style> <Point> <coordinates> {{a.geopt.lon|floatformat:2}},{{a.geopt.lat|floatformat:2}} </coordinates> </Point> </Placemark> {% endfor %} </Document> </kml> Is there a memory leak in the template or the python that passes the list variable? Can I improve using other template engine or other framework than default? Is kmz compression a good idea in this case? Thanks in advance for any suggestion where or how to change the code.

  • Binding output of Custom Activity designer to activity argument

    - by gbanfill
    I am trying to add a custom activity designer for an activity that I have. The activity looks a little like: public class WaitForUserInputActvitiy : NativeActivity { public InArgument<UserInteractionProperty[]> UserInteraction { get; set; } } I am trying to put a designer on the activity to make it a bit nicer to set these values (so you don't end up typing VB in directly. My designer is based on mindscape property grid. I have an ObservableDictionary source that I want to get the values from and put them in to the InArgument. Currently I am using private void TestGrid_LostFocus(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) { using (ModelEditingScope editingScope = this.ModelItem.BeginEdit()) { Argument myArg = Argument.Create(typeof(WaitForUserInputActvitiy), ArgumentDirection.In); this.ModelItem.Properties["UserInteraction"].SetValue(source.Values.ToArray()); editingScope.Complete(); } } However this results in an ArgumentException "Object of type UserInteractionProperty[] cannot be converted to InArgument`1[UserInteractionProperty[]]. So how do I convert my array of UserInteractionProperties into an InArgument?

  • Demangling typeclass functions in GHC profiler output

    - by Paul Kuliniewicz
    When profiling a Haskell program written in GHC, the names of typeclass functions are mangled in the .prof file to distinguish one instance's implementations of them from another. How can I demangle these names to find out which type's instance it is? For example, suppose I have the following program, where types Fast and Slow both implement Show: import Data.List (foldl') sum' = foldl' (+) 0 data Fast = Fast instance Show Fast where show _ = show $ sum' [1 .. 10] data Slow = Slow instance Show Slow where show _ = show $ sum' [1 .. 100000000] main = putStrLn (show Fast ++ show Slow) I compile with -prof -auto-all -caf-all and run with +RTS -p. In the .prof file that gets generated, I see that the top cost centers are: COST CENTRE MODULE %time %alloc show_an9 Main 71.0 83.3 sum' Main 29.0 16.7 And in the tree, I likewise see (omitting irrelevant lines): individual inherited COST CENTRE MODULE no. entries %time %alloc %time %alloc main Main 232 1 0.0 0.0 100.0 100.0 show_an9 Main 235 1 71.0 83.3 100.0 100.0 sum' Main 236 0 29.0 16.7 29.0 16.7 show_anx Main 233 1 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 How do I figure out that show_an9 is Slow's implementation of show and not Fast's?

  • Parse JSON into a ListView friendly output

    - by Thomas McDonald
    So I have this JSON, which then my activity retrieves to a string: {"popular": {"authors_last_month": [ { "url":"http://activeden.net/user/OXYLUS", "item":"OXYLUS", "sales":"1148", "image":"http://s3.envato.com/files/15599.jpg" }, { "url":"http://activeden.net/user/digitalscience", "item":"digitalscience", "sales":"681", "image":"http://s3.envato.com/files/232005.jpg" } { ... } ], "items_last_week": [ { "cost":"4.00", "thumbnail":"http://s3.envato.com/files/227943.jpg", "url":"http://activeden.net/item/christmas-decoration-balls/75682", "sales":"43", "item":"Christmas Decoration Balls", "rating":"3", "id":"75682" }, { "cost":"30.00", "thumbnail":"http://s3.envato.com/files/226221.jpg", "url":"http://activeden.net/item/xml-flip-book-as3/63869", "sales":"27", "item":"XML Flip Book / AS3", "rating":"5", "id":"63869" }, { ... }], "items_last_three_months": [ { "cost":"5.00", "thumbnail":"http://s3.envato.com/files/195638.jpg", "url":"http://activeden.net/item/image-logo-shiner-effect/55085", "sales":"641", "item":"image logo shiner effect", "rating":"5", "id":"55085" }, { "cost":"15.00", "thumbnail":"http://s3.envato.com/files/180749.png", "url":"http://activeden.net/item/banner-rotator-with-auto-delay-time/22243", "sales":"533", "item":"BANNER ROTATOR with Auto Delay Time", "rating":"5", "id":"22243"}, { ... }] } } It can be accessed here as well, although it because it's quite a long string, I've trimmed the above down to display what is needed. Basically, I want to be able to access the items from "items_last_week" and create a list of them - originally my plan was to have the 'thumbnail' on the left with the 'item' next to it, but from playing around with the SDK today it appears too difficult or impossible to achieve this, so I would be more than happy with just having the 'item' data from 'items_last_week' in the list. Coming from php I'm struggling to use any of the JSON libraries which are available to Java, as it appears to be much more than a line of code which I will need to deserialize (I think that's the right word) the JSON, and they all appear to require some form of additional class, apart from the JSONArray/JSONObject script I have which doesn't like the fact that items_last_week is nested (again, I think that's the JSON terminology) and takes an awful long time to run on the Android emulator. So, in effect, I need a (preferably simple) way to pass the items_last_week data to a ListView. I understand I will need a custom adapter which I can probably get my head around but I cannot understand, no matter how much of the day I've just spent trying to figure it out, how to access certain parts of a JSON string..

  • JQuery submit form and output response or error message

    - by sergdev
    I want to submit form and show message about result. update_records initializes alert_message to error message. If success I expect that its value is changed. Than update_records outputs message. But the function always alerts "Error submitting form". What is wrong with this? The code follows: function update_records(form_name) { var options = { async: false, alert_message: "Error submitting form", success: function(message) { this.alert_message = message; } }; $('#' + form_name).ajaxSubmit(options); alert(options.alert_message); } I am newbie in Javascript/JSon/Jquery and I suspect that I misunderstand some basics of mentioned technologies. UPDATE: I specified "async:false" to make execution synchronous (Is it correct?) I also tried to insert delay between following two lines: $('#' + form_name).ajaxSubmit(options); pausecomp(1000); // inserted pause alert(options.alert_message); It also does not resolve the issue Function fo pousecomp follows: function pausecomp(millis) { var date = new Date(); var curDate = null; do { curDate = new Date(); } while(curDate-date < millis); }
