  When I am using this statement in Matlab in my computer then its giving error as follow: [h,p,ci]=ttest(randn(100,1),0.1) Error: ??? Error using ==> nanmean Too many input arguments. Error in ==> ttest at 104 xmean = nanmean(x,dim); However if I use the same statement in Matlab in another computer, then its working fine and giving results. Do you know what could be the problem? I am posting this question here suspecting it to be some software problem with Matlab. Correct me if I am wrong.

• I am trying to build libmtp 1.1.14 but I cannot fix this error

  Possible Duplicate: Firefox crashes very often - Attempting to load the system libmoon Hi, I am running ubuntu 10.10 and installed firefox 4.0 beta 10 using the ppa:mozillateam/firefox-next, by running the command sudo apt-get install firefox-4.0. However whenever I try running it, it starts up and then within 2 seconds it crashes without any warning. I also don't get the usual warning whether to send the crash report to firefox or not. So I tried running firefox-4.0 using the terminal and I get the following the error message. Attempting to load the system libmoon Segmentation fault What do it mean? And what do I do to fix this error? I really want to try the latest firefox beta in ubuntu.

  "the user profile service failed the logon" i had gotten this error when trying to login last night. i looked it up online and found that this was caused by an error (that is still unfound, apparently) that is causing windows to mark profiles as backup, and that the best way to fix this error is to do a system restore from the repair your computer special boot option. what i would like to know is if there someone happens to know the cause of this error, as i would not like it to happen again. Computer specifications OS: Windows 7 hard-disk check completely clean "repair startup" scan and fix: clean, no problems virus scans with kaspersky: clean (while not the usual information for specifications, i felt this info was more important for this case, any other information can be asked for.

The exception doesn’t hurt anything, as far as I know, but it’s just plain annoying. If you’re getting this error, and you don’t want validation messages showing up for controls on a form, you can put them in div tags and set the display style on the divs to none. When I have a handful of controls that I don’t want the validation messages for, I just throw them all in the same div and hide it.

  I am searching a Micro QR Code Generator that fulfills the following requirements: At least 20 characters encoded Minimal error correction (required to get the 20 characters stuffed in) I already searched google, but it seems all micro qr generators automatically use maximum error correction, which is very unhandy for my task, as we need the 20 characters completety. I can't use standard QR because there are certain requirements that need the code to be smaller than a certain dimension when printed... I hope someone can help me. PS: I'm not sure that this is the right board to post this question on, so feel free to redirect me to a better board if you have an idea.   I have been working on a research paper in OpenOffice 3.2 Word Processor and I had a slide show OpenOffice 3.2 Presentation. I saved both frequently and they were not very big (no more then 5 pages of text or a few slides). A few days after I last edited and saved them, I tried to open the slide show but I received window saying: General Error. General input/output error When I tried opening the paper, it asked for ASCII Filter Options (font, character, language, and paragraph break). When I set the normal settings, a single blank document opened with nothing on it. I looked at both of the file's properties and the size was 0 or 1.5 KB, and the volume was unknown. I recently installed some updates for Ubuntu 10.10 and everything else in my computer is working normally including other documents and slide shows. Is this a fixable crash?

You could search for errors, store a result as a variable, or act on the returned values in some other way. • Error on restarting networking :SIOCSIFFLAGS

  I have a sever with 2 network cards, an internal IP on one card (eth0) and external IPs (aliased) on the other card (eth1). I lost connection the public network and I tried to restart networking with /etc/init.d/networking restart and got the error "SIOCSIFFLAGS: cannot assing requested IP and Failed to bring up eth1". I even added the IPs in the interfaces file but still got an error on restarting. I could not ping my default gateway. A work around was to add ifconfig eth 0 x.x.x.x route -add default gw x.x.x.z I could then connect to the public network. What could be the issue here?

That allows us to use arbitrary view methods as action handlers. The existing issue is that the input to the form, only displays on the console and not on jsfiddle result section, though no error displays on the result section, there is a new error appearing in the console of the updated fiddle: Uncaught Error: Cannot perform operations on a Metamorph that is not in the DOM. Finally solved I needed to comment out App.initialize() for it to work as expected. This the working fiddle ** http://jsfiddle.net/ACzaJ/20/. I don't know why that is so, but my guess is that, App.initialize works with other parts like the router for routing, ApplicationController and ApplicationView with {{outlet}} in the handlebars, which i didn't need for this fiddle. Finally Finally and completely solved This ** http://jsfiddle.net/tQWn8/ works with App.initialize. But you have to declare all those components above and pass the router to App.initialize, like this App..initialize(router). If you don't do this, then you will get the old error Uncaught Error: Cannot perform operations on a Metamorph that is not in the DOM.

• Error 1130 connecting to MySQL on Ubuntu Server 12.04

  I hope this is the right place for this...I currently am running Ubuntu Server 12.04 through VirtualBox on a Windows 7 host. I am trying to connect to the VM's MySQL engine using MyDB Studio for MySQL, and when I enter my MySQL login credentials, it gives me the following error back: Error 1130: Host '192.168.56.1' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server I am running the VM with Adapter 1 enabled for NAT, and Adapter 2 enabled for Host-only Adapter. eth0 10.0.2.15 and eth1 192.168.56.21. I can connect to Apache at 192.168.56.21, and through PhpMyAdmin, everything works as it should. I did edit the /etc/mysql/my.cnf file and commented out the line bind-address = 127.0.0.1 by adding a # in front of it - I thought that this should have allowed remote connections. Any ideas on how I can solve this? What could be wrong? EDIT: I am trying to connect as 'root'. EDIT: SOLVED!!

  I recently got an error when adding a new SharePoint 2007 (SP2) server to our existing MOSS farm.  I had run the installation fine, and was walking through the SharePoint Configuration Wizard, when I got an error on step 2: “Resource retrieved id PostSetupConfigurationFailedEventLog is Configuration of SharePoint Products and Technologies failed.” I searched the net, but didn’t really find anything. I then remembered that I had forgotten to run the latest SharePoint updates (for us, the latest applied was December 2009).  I installed the WSS update, and then the MOSS update and both worked fine.  I then ran the Configuration wizard again and it worked without any errors.

What is this size mismatch error ?   I have Ubuntu 10 as the guest OS on a Windows 7 machine. I have been trying to setup shares through VirtualBox, but nothing is working. First, I create the share in VirtualBox and point it to a Windows folder. Then I try to mount the drive in Linux, but I keep getting /sbin/mount.vboxsf: mounting failed with the error: Protocol error I have read so many solutions to this, but none seem to work. I have tried: Using the mount.vboxsf syntax Reinstalling VBox additions Rebooting Enabling and trying as root account I made a share called "Test" in VBox Shared folders. Then I made a directory in ubuntu named "test2". Then I tried to execute this command: sudo mount -t vboxsf Test /mnt/test2 Any other ideas?

  Since installing Ubuntu 12.10 Gnome remix I encounter systemm's unpredictable and unwanted behavior. Almost after each resume from suspend (or even after unlocking the screen after it goes blank) I get apportcheckresume error and message "Ubuntu 12.10 has encountered an internal error".Many times the system event wont resume and I need to restart it. Other times log in screen is not visible, the screen is blank and i have to write my password "in blanco". Sometimes additional thing also happens - textures get messed up and background and windows get distorted by horizontal lines Sorry I can't localize the log file for the errors. • Formatted Ubuntu partition & now grub says "error: no such partition" - can't enter windows

  I had installed Ubuntu (current version: 11.xx) alongside Windows Vista. Now I formatted the Ubuntu partition & merged it with another partition (without thinking, obviously). Now, when I restart the computer, GRUB probably tries to find the old partition (which does no longer exist) and says: error: no such partition. grub rescue> Now I dont know what to do (I'm a total beginner). I tried to re-install Ubuntu on the newly formatted partition but this won't work, because after removing the install-usb (which I am said to do during installation) I find the above error-message again. I guess I need some way to reconfigure grub OR to reinstall grub/ubuntu (on the newly formatted partition) OR to reinstall the windows boot manager (without reinstall. Windows), but I have no idea how to do either of these things.
