  • Using tramp with EmacsW32 and cygwin, possible?

    Hi, I have some trouble setting up Tramp with EmacsW32 and cygwin. I have configured emacs to use cygwin as shell using w32shell. I also set the HOME enviromental variable to c:/cygwin/home/myusername Problem is that tramp seems to hang and that no connection is made: "Tramp waiting for prompts for the new shell". I have tried to turn on debugging, but still only see this message. Looking forward to get some tips on this. Thank you.

    I'm using Netbeans to develop with Drupal. I'm trying to let Netbeans get drupal core and modules from the repository on drupal.org to my local working copy. Problem is: I already have a working copy that is not versioned yet. When I try to checkout a copy from drupal.org, Netbeans asks if I want to create a new project - I don't. How can I turn my local copy into a "checked out" working copy?

How can I turn a program using my formal grammar into a tree of nodes (made using C++ classes), that afterwards I could visit using my visitor? Maybe you could give me some link with an example of this? What i need to put into flex/bison files?

    I have a list of strings of the format "x,y". I would like to make them all into Points. The best Point constructor I can find takes two ints. What is the best way in C# to turn "14,42" into new Point(14,42);? I know the Regex for doing that is /(\d+),(\d+)/, but I'm having a hard time turning those two match groups into ints in C#.

    I'm trying to adopt my development from Spring/Maven2/Tomcat -> Grails, and I'm wondering if there's an easy way to manage dependencies in grails separate from maven. Maven does a lot of the magic that grails is doing automatically (unit testing/building/etc.), so I wonder if there's a need for maven at all in grails projects. So, then, how do Grails users generally manage java dependencies? I've become accustomed to central repository dependency management, and I can't turn back at this point.

    i dont have a wifi router, so when at home i need to turn my laptop into a wifi source so that both myself and my partner can access the internet. however during the days i work at a coffee shop and require the use of their wifi. i'm running snow leopard and i find it stupidly cumbersome to constantly be turning off and on, first internet sharing and then my wifi. any ideas for a quick n dirty applescript solution? thanks a bajillion!   • Starting inets/httpd with custom application

    I've got a module that I'm attempting to turn into a proper OTP application. Currently, the module has start/0 which starts a genserver which supplies configuration data read from a config file. It then calls inets:start(httpd,config:lookup(httpd_conf)). I gather that I need to move the starting of these out into the .app file's (application list) but I'm not sure how to get my config data into the inets:start function (or pass in httpd)?     I'm looking for a way to do something analogous to the MySql dump from SQL Server. I need to be able to pick the tables and export the schema and the data (or I can export the schema via SQL Server Management Studio and export the data separately somehow). I need this data to be able to turn around and go back into SQL Server so it needs to maintain GUIDs/uniqueidentifiers and other column types. Does anyone know of a good tool for this?

  • Jquery Modal Dialog disables form elements

    Hi, When I set my jQuery dialog to model=true, it disables my form elements inside the dialog and I cannot use them, only the buttons. I have seen examples where the contents of the dialog is declared in the dialog initiation script and then injected. but that is just to bulky for me, I want to be able to create my markup inside the DIV which I turn into a dialog. Anyone got a solution for me?

    hi, I've installed the usb driver, i'm running win7. I can see that the driver is installed in the window-android SDK and AVD manager-installed packages but when i'm writing "adb devices" in the cmd it doesnt show like the phone is connected (it is - it has the orange led on..) I'm using the HTC G1. I also did the "Turn on "USB Debugging" on your device" step... anyone got an idea??

    I'm trying to use APC (Alternative PHP Cache) on my localhost with wamp 2, PHP 5.3 and CodeIgniter 1.7.2, however If I turn on cache_by_default and enable apc.stat the server will crash and I get the following error: [apc-error] Cannot redeclare class ci_benchmark in C:\wamp\www\k\mvc\codeigniter\Common.php on line 127. What can I do to fix this issue?
