  • System.Data.SQLite parameterized queries with multiple values?

    - by Rezzie
I am trying to do run a bulk deletion using parameterized queries. Currently, I have the following code: pendingDeletions = new SQLiteCommand(@"DELETE FROM [centres] WHERE [name] = $name", conn); foreach (string name in selected) pendingDeletions.Parameters.AddWithValue("$name", centre.Name); pendingDeletions.ExecuteNonQuery(); However, the value of the parameter seems to be overwritten each time and I end up just removing the last centre. What is the correct way to execute a parameterized query with a list of values?

  • jquery ajax using 'addresses' to update url for bookmarking

    - by Jay
$("document").ready(function(){ contM = $('#main-content'); contS = $('#second-content'); $(contM).hide(); $(contS).hide(); function loadURL(url) { console.log("loadURL: " + url); $.post(url,{post_loader: 1},{post_loader: 1}, function(data){ $(contM).html($(data)); $(contM).show(); }); } // Event handlers $.address.init(function(event) { console.log("init: " + $('[rel=address:' + event.value + ']').attr('href')); }).change(function(event) { $.post($('[rel=address:' + event.value + ']').attr('href'), {post_loader: 1}, function(data){ $(contM).html($(data)); $(contM).show(); }); console.log("change"); }) $('.update-main a').click(function(){ loadURL($(this).attr('href')); }); }); I'm using this code to make calls to a server to update the main content of a web page. Everything works fine in Google Chrome, but fails to execute properly in Firefox. The strange thing is that when I have the console open to monitor server communication, the application works fine, only when it is closed do problems occur : the script starts to communicate with the server, but before it receives the data the browser jumps to the source url. any ideas?

  • Add a :filter param to the end of a url

    - by bob
Hello, I am building an application that requires a search to go deeper than the initial level. I am using nested scopes to accomplish this and params in the URL For example, when a user searches for "handbag" it creates a query like the following. http://localhost:3000/junks?search=handbag&condition=&category=&main_submit=Go! I want to add a :filter param to the end of this url and reload the page with the new url. http://localhost:3000/junks?search=handbag&condition=&category=&main_submit=Go!&filter=lowest_price As shown above the &filter=lowest_price is added to the query. I have already written controller code to handle this and I know it works as long as the query is like the 2nd link above. my views code <div class = "filter_options"> <p> <strong>Filter by:</strong> <%= link_to_unless_current "Recent", :filter => 'recent' %> | <%= link_to_unless_current "Lowest Price", :filter => 'lowest_price' %> | <%= link_to_unless_current "Highest Price", :filter => 'highest_price' %> </p> </div> This is how I have it currently, which works if my URL does not have a search string attached to it. Unfortunately, this will go to a http://localhost:3000/junks?filter=lowest_price even if there is a search string. I would like to know how to create my links so that they add onto the search string shown in the 2nd code example. Additionally, if a search string with a filter is already present, it would only change that filter and resubmit the search string with the new filter. I hope I am being clear.

  • How to serialize parameters in Web Service method

    - by Georgi
    Hi, I have this problem. I have WCF .Net C# web service with this method: public interface IMyService { // TODO: Add your service operations here [OperationContract] ListOfRequests GetListOfRequests(string par1, string par2, string par3, DateTime par4, DateTime par5, string par6, string par7); } public class MyService : IMyService { public ListOfRequests GetListOfRequests(string par1, string par2, string par3, DateTime par4, DateTime par5, string par6, string par7) { // .... web method code here; } } The problem is that when I generate the web service the wsdl schema return this: <xs:element name="GetListOfRequests"> <xs:complexType> <xs:sequence> <xs:element minOccurs="0" name="par1" nillable="true" type="xs:string" /> <xs:element minOccurs="0" name="par2" nillable="true" type="xs:string" /> <xs:element minOccurs="0" name="par3" nillable="true" type="xs:string" /> <xs:element minOccurs="0" name="par4" type="xs:dateTime" /> <xs:element minOccurs="0" name="par5" type="xs:dateTime" /> <xs:element minOccurs="0" name="par6" nillable="true" type="xs:string" /> <xs:element minOccurs="0" name="par7" nillable="true" type="xs:string" /> </xs:sequence> </xs:complexType> </xs:element> and I want my parameters to be not null like this: <xs:element name="GetListOfRequests"> <xs:complexType> <xs:sequence> <xs:element minOccurs="1" name="par1" nillable="false" type="xs:string" /> <xs:element minOccurs="1" name="par2" nillable="false" type="xs:string" /> <xs:element minOccurs="1" name="par3" nillable="false" type="xs:string" /> <xs:element minOccurs="1" name="par4" type="xs:dateTime" /> <xs:element minOccurs="1" name="par5" type="xs:dateTime" /> <xs:element minOccurs="1" name="par6" nillable="false" type="xs:string" /> <xs:element minOccurs="0" name="par7" nillable="true" type="xs:string" /> </xs:sequence> </xs:complexType> </xs:element> How can I serizalize parameters to achieve this? Thank you in advance for your help. Regards, Georgi

  • REST, HTTP DELETE and parameters

    - by Chris McCauley
Is there anything non-RESTful about providing parameters to a HTTP DELETE request? My scenario is that I'm modeling the "Are you sure you want to delete that?" scenario and eventually I end up having to pass a parameter to the delete request with "?force_delete=true" e.g. DELETE http://server/resource/id?force_delete=true If the user does not specify force_delete then I'm returning 409 Conflict - is that correct?

  • Spring security request matcher is not working with regex

    - by Felipe Cardoso Martins
Using Spring MVC + Security I have a business requirement that the users from SEC (Security team) has full access to the application and FRAUD (Anti-fraud team) has only access to the pages that URL not contains the words "block" or "update" with case insensitive. The problem already was solved in a very bad way, but I need to fix it quickly. Anyone knows some tricks to debug better it without open the frameworks code? Cheers, Felipe

  • web.xml - Java Servlet Filters and WebSphere - URL Pattern issues

    - by Ed
Hi, So we are running a web application that has been tested on Tomcat, Glassfish, WebLogic and WebSphere. All run correctly except WebSphere. The issue is that filters are not processed for files under a certain directory. For example I have a filter that checks the user's lanuage from browser cookies and another that get the user's username, in the web.xml there are configured like so: <!-- ****************************** --> <!-- * Security context filtering * --> <!-- ****************************** --> <filter> <filter-name>SetSecurityContextFilter</filter-name> <filter-class> com.test.security.SecurityContextServletFilter </filter-class> </filter> <!-- ****************************** --> <!-- ** Locale context filtering ** --> <!-- ****************************** --> <filter> <filter-name>SetLocaleFilter</filter-name> <filter-class> com.test.locale.LocaleServletFilter </filter-class> </filter> <filter-mapping> <filter-name>SetSecurityContextFilter</filter-name> <url-pattern>/*</url-pattern> </filter-mapping> <filter-mapping> <filter-name>SetLocaleFilter</filter-name> <url-pattern>/*</url-pattern> </filter-mapping> Both filters set a static threadlocal variable which can be accessed from a static getter, but when the same file 'test.jsp' invokes the getters, under 'contextroot/js' they return the default values (as if unset) while under 'contextroot/pages' they are correct. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

  • Not all named parameters have been set Nhibernate?

I got a problem whenever I pass char ":" from the user interface. NHibernate mistakes it as a named parameter and throws an error, since there isn't any value for it. Exception is :- Not all named parameters have been set: [%] [SELECT COUNT (*) FROM Test2 t WHERE t.FirstName LIKE ':%' AND t.LocationUID IN (38, 20)]"

  • Loading through Ajax request and bookmarked URL

    - by Varun
I am working on a ticket system, having the following requirement: The home page is divided into two sections: Sec-1. Some filter options are shown here.(like closed-tickets, open-tickets, all-tickets, tickets-assigned-to-me etc.). You can select one or more of these filters. sec-2. List of tickets satisfying above filters will be displayed here. Now this is what I want: As I change the filters -- the change should be reflected in the URL, so that one is able to bookmark it. -- an ajax request will go and list of tickets satisfying the selected filters will be updated in sec-2. I want the same code to be used to load the tickets in both ways- (a) by selecting that set of filters and (b) by using the bookmark to reload the page. I have little idea on how to do it: The URL will contain the selected filters.(appended after #) changing filters on the page will modify the hash part of URL and call a function (say ajaxHandler()) to parse the URL to get the filters and then make an ajax request to get the list of tickets to be displayed in section2. and I will call the same function ajaxHandler() in window.onload. Is this the way? Any suggestions?

  • PHP DOTNET - Passing Constructor Parameters to a C# Class

    - by n3wtz
This seems like it should be a fairly straightforward question, but I can't find an answer anywhere. I'm using php's DOTNET class to instantiate a class from a .dll created with C#. The constructor of that class requires a couple of parameters. How to I pass them? Other Info: This is currently on Windows, and I've registered the .dll with the GAC, etc.

  • Loading Liferay Properties from Spring IoC container (to get jdbc connection parameters)

    - by mox601
I'm developing some portlets for Liferay Portal 5.2.3 with bundled tomcat 6.0.18 using Spring IoC container. I need to map the User_ table used in Liferay database to an entity with Hibernate, so I need to use two different dataSources to separate the liferay db from the db used by portlets. My jdbc.properties has to hold all connection parameters for both databases: no problem for the one used by portlets, but I am having issues determining which database uses liferay to hold its data. My conclusion is that i should have something like this: liferayConnection.url=jdbc:hsqldb:${liferay.home}/data/hsql/lportal in order to get the database url dynamically loaded, according to Liferay properties found in portal-ext.properties. (Or, better, load the whole portal-ext.properties and read database properties from there). The problem is that the placeholder is not resolved: Caused by: org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanDefinitionStoreException: Invalid bean definition with name 'liferayDataSource' defined in class path resource [WEB-INF/applicationContext.xml]: Could not resolve placeholder 'liferay.home' To dodge this problem I tried to load explicitly portal-ext.properties with a Spring bean: <bean id="liferayPropertiesConfigurer" class="org.springframework.beans.factory.config.PropertyPlaceholderConfigurer" p:location="../../portal-ext.properties"/> but no luck: liferay.home is not resolved but there aren't other errors. How can I resolve the placeholder defined by Liferay? Thanks

  • Unusual request URL in ASP.NET health monitoring event

    - by Troy Hunt
I’m seeing a rather strange occurrence in the request information section of an ASP.NET health monitoring email I hope someone can shed some light on. This is a publicly facing website which runs on infrastructure at an Indian hosting provider. Health monitoring is notifying us of server errors via automated email but every now and then the requested URL appears as a totally different website. For example: Request information: Request URL: http://www.baidu.com/Default.aspx Request path: /Default.aspx User host address: 221.13.128.175 User: Is authenticated: False Authentication Type: Thread account name: NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE Obviously the site in question is not Baidu and obviously this attribute is not the referrer either; the “Request URL” value is the path which has generated the error. The IP address is located in Beijing (coincidental given the Baidu address?) and in this instance it looks like the SQL server backend was not accessible (I haven't included the entire error message for security's sake). What would cause the request URL attribute to be arbitrarily changed to that of another site? I’ve never seen this occur in a health monitoring event before. Thanks!

  • Static error page served by nginx when my application is down

    - by dreeves
If my (Rails) application is down or undergoing database maintenance or whatever, I'd like to specify at the nginx level to server a static page. So every URL like http://example.com/* should server a static html file, like /var/www/example/foo.html. Trying to specify that in my nginx config is giving me fits and infinite loops and whatnot. I'm trying things like location / { root /var/www/example; index foo.html; rewrite ^/.+$ foo.html; } How would you get every URL on your domain to serve a single static file?

  • ASP.NET MVC - creating and handling with URLs with Greater Than and Less Than characters

    - by pcampbell
Consider a link to a page for a user's profile. A page is creating that URL like this: //Model.Name has value "<bad guy>" Html.ActionLink("foo, "ViewUser", new { id=5, title=Url.Encode(Model.Name) }) The actual outcome was http://mysite/Users/5/%253cbad%2guy%253e When navigating to that URL, the server generates a HTTP Error 400 - Bad Request. Question: Given that the Model.Name may contain Unicode characters, or characters otherwise illegal in URLs, what's the best way to strip out illegal characters, or otherwise encode them? The problem surfaces when testing out 'interesting' user inputs with < and >, but anything could come from the user, and therefore be put in a URL by way of Model.Name.

  • Initial Genetic Programming Parameters

    - by cmptrer
I did a little GP (note:very little) work in college and have been playing around with it recently. My question is in regards to the intial run settings (population size, number of generations, min/max depth of trees, min/max depth of initial trees, percentages to use for different reproduction operations, etc.). What is the normal practice for setting these parameters? What papers/sites do people use as a good guide?

  • SQLSTATE[HY093]: Invalid parameter number: mixed named and positional parameters

    - by Gremo
    Weird error and this is driving me crazy all the day. To me it seems a bug because there are no positional parameters in my query. Here is the method: public function getAll(User $user, DateTime $start = null, DateTime $end = null) { $params = array('user_id' => $user->getId()); $rsm = new \Doctrine\ORM\Query\ResultSetMapping(); // Result set mapping $rsm->addScalarResult('subtype', 'subtype'); $rsm->addScalarResult('count', 'count'); $sms_sql = "SELECT CONCAT('sms_', IF(is_auto = 0, 'user' , 'auto')) AS subtype, " . "SUM(messages_count * (customers_count + recipients_count)) AS count " . "FROM outgoing_message AS m INNER JOIN small_text_message AS s ON " . "m.id = s.id WHERE status <> 'pending' AND user_id = :user_id"; $news_sql = "SELECT CONCAT('news_', IF(is_auto = 0, 'user' , 'auto')) AS subtype, " . "SUM(customers_count + recipients_count) AS count " . "FROM outgoing_message AS m JOIN newsletter AS n ON m.id = n.id " . "WHERE status <> 'pending' AND user_id = :user_id"; if($start) : $sms_sql .= " AND sent_at >= :start"; $news_sql .= " AND sent_at >= :start"; $params['start'] = $start->format('Y-m-d'); endif; $sms_sql .= ' GROUP BY type, is_auto'; $news_sql .= ' GROUP BY type, is_auto'; return $this->_em->createNativeQuery("$sms_sql UNION ALL $news_sql", $rsm) >setParameters($params)->getResult(); } And this throws the exception: SQLSTATE[HY093]: Invalid parameter number: mixed named and positional parameters Array $arams is OK and so generated SQL: var_dump($params); array (size=2) 'user_id' => int 1 'start' => string '2012-01-01' (length=10) Strangest thing is that it works with "$sms_sql" only! Any help would make my day, thanks. Update Found another strange thing. If i change only the name (to start_date instead of start): if($start) : $sms_sql .= " AND sent_at >= :start_date"; $news_sql .= " AND sent_at >= :start_date"; $params['start_date'] = $start->format('Y-m-d'); endif; What happens is that Doctrine/PDO says: SQLSTATE[42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column 'sent1rt_date' in 'where clause' ... as string 1rt was added in the middle of the column name!   • RESTful Question/Answer design?

    - by Kirschstein
This is a toy project I'm working on at the moment. My app contains questions with multiple choice answers. The question url is in the following format, with GET & POST mapping to different actions on the questions controller. GET: url.com/questions/:category/:difficulty => 'ask' POST: url.com/questions/:category/:difficulty => 'answer' I'm wondering if it's worth redesigning this into a RESTful style. I know I'd need to introduce answers as a resource, but I'm struggling to think of a url that would look natural for answering that question. Would a redesign be worthwhile? How would you go about structuring the urls?
