  • SVN - Permission Denied

    - by wsd
I have set up a Linux Server and installed Apache and SVN and dav_svn on it. Now, when I try to upload to https://x.x.x.x:x/svn/repo with Tortoise SVN I get Can't open file '/server/svn/repo/db/txn-current-lock': Permission denied I have Set up my SSL correctly (I can checkout, no problems, even remotely due to Port Forwarding). I'm guessing this has to do with the Linux Ownership of the Repository folders, How must I set this/ what are the commands? I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 Server + Apache2.

    - by Alexander Parfyanovich
In my iPhone project I have used this solution to encrypt data with DER encoded certificate, which was generated by openssl commands like this: openssl req -x509 -nodes -days 365 -newkey rsa:2048 -keyout privateKey.pem -out cert.pem openssl x509 -outform der -in cert.pem -out cert.der openssl rsa -in privateKey.pem -outform DER -out privateKey.der And now I want to decrypt data using private key file. How can I get the private SecKeyRef instance from DER encoded private key file?

  • Simple alternative to GNU Readline library not GPL

    - by Bo Jensen
I love the GNU readline library, but since it is under a GPL license, I can not use it for commercial software. Do you know alternatives ? I only need the commandline history and auto completion (of customer keywords and files) features. I found this link : http://github.com/antirez/linenoise which seem to be a good starting point, but does not have auto completion. Any suggestions, surely this must be a common task for people building interactive shell commands.

  • Retrieve jquery-ui dialog's div

    - by Hikari
When we apply $().dialog() in an object, jquery-ui puts it inside a <div class="ui-dialog ui-widget">, with a <div class="ui-dialog-titlebar ui-widget-header"> before it. After the creation of this dialog around the main object, how can we get that ui-dialog object so that we can execute other JavaScript commands in it? The best I could do was use .parent(".ui-dialog") in the main object, is there a better way to do it?

  • Tracking upstream svn changes with git-svn and github?

    - by Joseph Turian
How do I track upstream SVN changes using git-svn and github? I used git-svn to convert an SVN repo to git on github: $ git svn clone -s http://svn.osqa.net/svnroot/osqa/ osqa $ cd osqa $ git remote add origin [email protected]:turian/osqa.git $ git push origin master I then made a few changes in my git repo, committed, and pushed to github. Now, I am on a new machine. I want to take upstream SVN changes, merge them with my github repo, and push them to my github repo. This documentation says: "If you ever lose your local copy, just run the import again with the same settings, and you’ll get another working directory with all the necessary SVN metainfo." So I did the following. But none of the commands work as desired. How do I track upstream SVN changes using git-svn and github? What am I doing wrong? $ git svn clone -s http://svn.osqa.net/svnroot/osqa/ osqa $ cd osqa $ git remote add origin [email protected]:turian/osqa.git $ git push origin master To [email protected]:turian/osqa.git ! [rejected] master -> master (non-fast forward) error: failed to push some refs to '[email protected]:turian/osqa.git' $ git pull remote: Counting objects: 21, done. remote: Compressing objects: 100% (17/17), done. remote: Total 17 (delta 7), reused 9 (delta 0) Unpacking objects: 100% (17/17), done. From [email protected]:turian/osqa * [new branch] master -> origin/master From [email protected]:turian/osqa * [new tag] master -> master You asked me to pull without telling me which branch you want to merge with, and 'branch.master.merge' in your configuration file does not tell me either. Please name which branch you want to merge on the command line and try again (e.g. 'git pull <repository> <refspec>'). See git-pull(1) for details on the refspec. ... $ /usr//lib/git-core/git-svn rebase warning: refname 'master' is ambiguous. First, rewinding head to replay your work on top of it... • Command prompt print dialog command

    - by wrongusername
Is there any way a C++ commandline program on Windows can produce a graphical GUI print dialog for printing to a printer, just like usual GUI programs? I've combed through this webpage and it seems there are only commands that print files in the background to a pre-determined printer.

  • django custom management command does not show up in production

    - by Tom Tom
I wrote a custom management command for django. Locally with my dev settings everything works fine. Now I deployed my project onto the production server and the management command does not show up, respectively is not available. But I did not get an error message deploying the project (syncdb). Any ideas where I could try to begin to search? Is there a special command that all custom management commands are "autodiscovered"?

  • Is there a simple alternative to Readline?

    - by Justin Poliey
On a project I'm working on, I'm trying to make it accept user commands and provide history with the up arrow. I'm aiming to keep this project free of dependencies, and I don't want to have to require people to also install the readline development files just to compile my project. Does anyone know of a simple drop-in replacement for GNU Readline that provides only simple functionality?

  • running code if try statements were successful in python

    - by None
I was wondering if in python there was a simple way to run code if a try statement was successful that wasn't in the try statement itself. Is that what the else or finally commands do (I didn't understand their documentation)? I know I could use code like this: successful = False try: #code that might fail successful = True except: #error handling if code failed if successful: #code to run if try was successful that isn't part of try but I was wondering if there was a shorter way .

Does the iPhone support garbage collection? If it does, then what are the alternate ways to perform the operations that are performaed using +alloc and -init combination: NSXMLParser *xmlParser = [[NSXMLParser alloc] initWithData:xmlData]; UIImage *originalImage = [[UIImage alloc] initWithData:data]; detailViewController = [[[DetailViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"DetailView bundle:[NSBundle mainBundle]] autorelease]; ... and other commands. Thank you in advance for any help or direction that you can provide.

  • Is there an equivalent of "OPTION(RECOMPILE)" or "WITH RECOMPILE" for an entire connection?

    - by kamens
I'm curious. Is there any way to prevent SQL query execution plans from being cached for an entire connection's duration? Can I run a command that basically says, "use OPTION(RECOMPILE) for all subsequent commands until I tell you to stop doing so?" I'm acutely aware of all the performance trade-offs here, and I know this is not a step to be taken lightly. However, I'm in a unique situation where this behavior may be advantageous.

  • Bash: "xargs cat", adding newlines after each file

    - by NoozNooz42
I'm using a few commands to cat a few files, like this: cat somefile | grep example | awk -F '"' '{ print $2 }' | xargs cat It nearly works, but my issue is that I'd like to add a newline after each file. Can this be done in a one liner? (surely I can create a new script or a function that does cat and then echo -n but I was wondering if this could be solved in another way)
