    I'm getting the following event log entry when I turn on tracing in CRM using the Crm Diagnostics Tool. Any ideas why it's not picking up the correct directory to place the files? CrmTrace encountered a failure creating or opening the file named C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\Trace\CRM-SERVER-CrmAsyncService-bin-20091106-1.log.   • Deploy .net 4 via Acrive Directory group policy or WSUS

    Is there a way to automatically deploy .net 4 using Active Directory group policy or WSUS? I want to push it out to lots of machines without having to go around to each one. Background: I have a VSTO ClickOnce application I want to deploy to non-admin users, but it uses .net 4, which won't install without admin rights, so ClickOnce fails for non-admins unless .net 4 is already installed.

  • How to hide files in Apache 2.2 WebDAV Directory listings

    I use Apache 2.2 as WebDAV file server to a bunch of Mac and MS Windows clients. Unfortunately both clutter the filesystem with files like .DS_Store or thumbs.db. Since hte files distract my users i want to hide them from directory listings. Unfortunately the standard way of hiding files in Apache (via IndexIgnore) seems not to work via WebDAV. Is there any other way to hide files?

    I am attempting to use FFmpeg to extract audio from a mp4 and I keep running into this error: CFileffmpegvideo.mp4: No such file or directory exist. I am in command prompt (in Windows 7) and have the path as C:\Files\ffmpeg (Where ffmpeg is). I run this command line ffmpeg -i C:\Files\ffmpeg\video.mp4 -f mp3 -ab 320000 -vn music.mp3 The file is in the same folder as ffmpeg. I know I am missing something simple here but what is it?

    I have an Ubuntu installation on my netbook and after trying it out on a bootable USB I have decided to switch to Mint Linux. If I run the Mint installer from the USB will it totally trash my home directory? Or will it be equivalent to an upgrade where the systems files that need to be replaced will change leaving the users folders as is. (Yes, I plan to backup the important files in the /home folders before hand...)

    We recently switched our server to require TLS for every connection. This is working flawlessly so far, but one of our clients is having problems. Some facts: Server uses Pure-FTPD Server has a passive port range configured Server has no firewall limitations regarding the FTP Client uses WS FTP Client is behind a router Client connects to the same IP as every other, using PASSIVE mode All other clients have no trouble connecting Because of the TLS requirement, connecting using ACTIVE mode is almost not possible, but PASSIVE is working fine for everyone except this specific client. It seems that he is able to connect, but once a LIST command is performed, things go wrong. Log: Finding Host <clienthost> ...     I am trying to run the Safari browser (on Mac OS 10.4) from the command line, as follows: /Applications/Safari.app/Contents/MacOS/Safari http://localhost/dev/myfile.html However, Safari starts up and tries to access file:///Users/charlesanderson/scripts/http://localhost/dev/myfile.html /Users/charlesanderson/scripts happens to be my current directory. Can someone explain why Safari does this? Firefox is much better behaved?

But sometimes I it would be good to ignore files for certain dir and I don't like idea of creating project file in that dir or remembering how I named project file in some special folder like ~/.tmproject. Is there some sort of plugin or something like this which will allow me to ignore files in dir? Perfect solution would be reading .gitignore file.

    I'm not sure if this is the best approach to this, It's my first time doing all of this (including writing shell scripts). OS: Centos My problem: I want to start multiple shell scripts at boot. One of the shell scripts is to start my own services and 3 others are for third party services. The shell script to start my own services will be looking for jar files. I currently have two services (will change), written in Java. When I run init.sh nohup.out contains Starting the thirdparty daemon... thirdparty started... .... but nothing from myservices.sh and my Java services aren't running I'm not sure where to start debugging or what could be going wrong. Edit Found some issues and got it to work, used -x instead of -n to check if the string is none zero, needed the sub string check to also be if [[ $s = $SUBSTRING ]] ; then and this last one was just stupid, missing java -jar in front of $s Still unsure of how to get init.sh to run at boot though

  • vsftp on CentOS - unable to get a folder list of /var directory

    Hi, I'm just getting started with CentOS and running into a strange issue with vsftp. When I FTP in, then change directory to /var I don't get a folder list. Is there something about CentOS or vsftp in particular that I may be missing that causes this behavior? The permissions on the folder are like others that I am able to see while connected via FTP.     I tried to migrate a 5 year old ruby on rails application onto a new server with Ubuntu 8.04, Apache 2 and MySQL 5. The application failed to run. When I looked in the error logs, I noticed Errno::ENOENT (No such file or directory - /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock) I looked around my new server but can't find a mysqld.sock file. How can I fix this problem?

    So I'm a dual-booter. I'm looking for an easy way to keep up-to-date symlinks in my Linux home folder pointing to every file and folder in the root of Windows personal directory. So, say I have foo.txt and bar.txt in C:\Windows\Documents and Settings\Nathaniel. I want symlinks of those files to automatically be made in /home/nathaniel/ (while I'm running Linux, of course).

Is there a way to get Passenger to find my assets without me having to rewrite my application? Any help would be appreciated. Update 6/23/2012 10:00 am CDT GMT-6 I corrected the problems with my file and have successfully executed the rake assets:precompile command. I still get the index page as before. I have made no other changes. I did a passenger-status command and it is still loaded. Restarting Apache did nothing.

    I am getting following cryptic error: akshay@akshay-VirtualBox:/mnt/mmpp$ ./bin/metamap10 /mnt/mmpp/bin/SKRrun.10 -L 2010 /mnt/mmpp/bin/metamap10.BINARY.Linux -Z 10 --debug input.txt fopen: No such file or directory does this error implies that it cannot fopen cannot find a required file or fopen itself is nonexistent, note that both SKRrun.10 and metamap10.BINARY.Linux are present at the correct location I am using this software http://metamap.nlm.nih.gov/ on Ubuntu.
