    Hi, I have a following XML code: <Group> <GElement code="x"> <Group> <GElement code="x"> <fname>a</fname> <lname>b</lname> </GElement> <GElement code ="f"> <fname>fa</fname> </GElement> </Group> </GElement> <GElement code ="f"> </GElement> </Group> I would like to have the output sorted by "code" like: <Group> <GElement code ="f"> </GElement> <GElement code="x"> <Group> <GElement code ="f"> <fname>fa</fname> </GElement> <GElement code="x"> <fname>a</fname> <lname>b</lname> </GElement> </Group> </GElement> </Group> The depth of the tree can be endless i.e. the GElement can have another Group and so on. Any ideas?

    Hi all, Im writing an app which reads an RSS feed and places items on a map. I need to read the lat and long numbers only from this string: http://www.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.co.uk/map.aspx?isTrafficAlert=true&lat=53.647351&lon=-1.933506 .This is contained in link tags Im a bit of a programming noob but im writing this in C#/Silverlight using Linq to XML. Shold this text be extrated when parsing or after parsing and sent to a class to do this? Many thanks for your assistance. EDIT. Im going to try and do a regex on this this is where I need to integrate the regex somewhere in this code.   • jquery XML .html() instead of .text() is not displaying?

    I can't seem to figure out this problem. I am trying to get xml to render html tags. The problem I am having using .text() will display but not recognize any html tags. If I use .html() or just call var long2 = $(this).find('long'); nothing will show up in Safari or IE. I have xml paragraph I have text in here that needs bold tags or tags which is why i need html tags in the xml to be recognized. My parser should do the following: 1. Parse through the file until a relevant element starts. 2. Copy the whole relevant element (with children) to the output file. go to 1. step 1 is easy with SAX and impossible for DOM-parsers. step 2 is annoying with SAX, but easy with the DOM-Parser or XSLT. so what? - is there a neat way to combine SAX and DOM-Parser to do the task?

    I'm trying to parse some XML I've gotten from the Google Data Booksearch API and I'm having trouble trying to target a specific element.   • Adding objects to an NSMutableArray, order seems odd when parsing from an XML file

    Hello: I am parsing an XML file for two elements: "title" and "noType". Once these are parsed, I am adding them to an object called aMaster, an instance of my own Master class that contains NSString variables. I am then adding these instances to an NSMutableArray on a singleton, in order to call them elsewhere in the program. The problem is that when I call them, they don't seem to be on the same NSMutableArray index... each index contains either the title OR the noType element, when it should be both... can anyone see what I may be doing wrong? "TOKEN" and then it is entered into the DB i dont get how to do it in python and i am trying it with lxml module

  • Save/Load jFreechart TimeSeriesCollection chart from XML

    I'm working with this exemple wich put rondom dynamic data into a TimeSeriesCollection chart.     I want to use svcutil to map multiple wsdl namespace to clr namespace when generating service proxies. I use strong versioning of namespaces and hence the generated clr namespaces are awkward and may mean many client side code changes if the wsdl/xsd namespace version changes. What I want Something like this: svcutil.exe /t:code *.wsdl *.xsd /n:"http://mydomain.com/xsd/Model/Shared/2009/07/01, MyDomain.Model.Shared;http://mydomain.com/xsd/Model/Customer/2009/07/01, MyDomain.Model.Customer;http://mydomain.com/wsdl/CustomerService-v1.0, MyDomain.CustomerServiceProxy;http://mydomain.com/xsd/Model/Store/2009/07/01, MyDomain.Model.Store;http://mydomain.com/wsdl/StoreService-v1.0, MyDomain.StoreServiceProxy" /o:TestClient\WebServiceProxy3.cs This way I can logically group the clr namespace and any change to wsdl/xsd namespace is handled in the proxy generation only without affecting the rest of the client side code. Now this is not possible. The svcutil allows to map only one or all namespaces, not a list of mappings. I can do one mapping as shown below but not multiple svcutil.exe /t:code *.wsdl *.xsd /n:"http://mydomain.com/xsd/Model/Store/2009/07/01, MyDomain.Model.Address" /o:TestClient\WebServiceProxy4.cs But is there any solution. Svcutil is not magic, it is written in .Net and programatically generating the proxies. Has anyone written an alternate to svcutil or point me to directions so that I can write one.
