  • 2D distortion of a face from an image on iOS? (similar to Fat Booth etc.)

    I was just wondering if someone knows about some good library or tutorial on how to achieve a 2D distortion of a face taken from an image taken by the user. I would like to achieve a similar effect to the one in Fatify, Oldify, all those Fat Booths, etc., because I am creating an app where you will throw something at the face and I would the face to jiggle and move when the object hits it. How should I do this?

    Hay, i have an app which essentially a conversation system (much like reddits) Where a post can have multiple replies, and a reply and have multiplies, and a reply to a reply can have multiple replies (etc) I've made the model like this class Discussion(models.Model): message = models.TextField() replies = models.ManyToManyField('self') and the view discussions = Discussions.objects.all() and the template looks like this {% for discussion in discussions %} {{ discussion.message }} {% endfor %} How would i go about making a system where i can output all replies like this discussion reply reply reply reply reply reply Which would go down as far as it needs to to ensure all replies are listed.   • AuthLogic - how to determine current user id throughout the system?

    Hi all, I have set up AuthLogic almost exactly as per the AuthLogic example app at http://github.com/binarylogic/authlogic_example. After someone logs in as User, they can click on links that send them away into the system and away from the users controller. This is an incredibly noob question, but how can I access that User's ID and other attributes from anywhere else, such as an unrelated view or unrelated controller? An example of what I'd like to do: #matchings controller @matching = Matching.find_by_user_id(user.id)

    Hey there, I'm currently working on an app which displays a bunch of files in a table, and you can add and remove them and whatsoever. To prevent duplicates in the table, I'd like to create a NSDictionary using the files full path as keys for another NSDictionary which contains all the file information, but I am a little concerned about the maximum key length of NSDictionary, and also whether this solution would be performance killer or not...     I am trying to develop an Facebook application (apps.facebook.com/some_app) using PHP where I need to present some information based on user's music interests. I found that its under "user_likes games". My problems are as follows: To gain access, I have implemented the oauth dialog method as suggested in API in my index page. $auth_url = "http://www.facebook.com/dialog/oauth?client_id=" . $app_id . "&redirect_uri=" . urlencode($canvas_page) ."&scope=user_likes"; After successful authorization I come back to index page with "code" as parameters. http://MY_CANVAS_PAGE/?code=some base64 encoded letters Firstly I don't know if I need access_token just to read user's music interests but I have tried all the methods suggested. When the user want to post something on his wall, the text is transmitted to my backend and the backend posts it (with the transmitted session key) to the users facebook wall. The first post is always possible but at the second, the response is: "The user hasn't authorized the application to perform this action" But I was already able to post some seconds ago.
