I have the feeling that my employer will not will to buy an adjustable desk, instead of the existing one, so I would like to have your help with ideas on how to convert a workplace to a "standable" one on as low budget as possible. I saw this discussion, but the solutions proposed there are way above my "low budget" definition

    Sup, so, I'm not familiar with linux at all so help is much appreciated. I've been trying to boot my pc up from a live CD unsuccessfully. I get to the stage at which there are the options to test without installing or install or so on where I select 'Install Ubuntu.' Here it relays through some fast DOS commands until it reaches 'end trace' and then, eventually, 'Killed.' I have already got a functional 11.10 version installed, could this be a problem? The reason I am attempting a reinstall is because the package system is damaged inside 11.10, a problem I can't seem to solve. If I try to install any new software from within the software centre it tells me that two banshee extensions must be removed. I try to remove these from inside the terminal, using apt-get remove, which results in:** You might want to run apt-get -f install to correct these: The following packages have unmet dependencies. banshee-extension-ubuntuonemusicstore : Depends: banshee (>= 2.2.1) but 2.2.0-1ubuntu2 is to be installed E: Unmet dependencies.     In Python we have yield which is very similar to that one which is proposed in ES6 (in fact, pythonic co-routines were the main source of inspiration for implementing co-routines in I wonder what are the reasons for choosing a separate function* () syntax for generators compared to just defining "regular" functions with yeilds - just like in python by the way? I'm talking strictly of technical issues and peculiarities. Why it had been decided that a separate form will be more appropriate?

    Is there a tutorial on using LUA in Kobold2d? I want to know if its possible to use it to control the game behavior (like max speed decrease of timer, and bonus points) by uploading a new script to the app. I found this link in the FAQ: http://www.kobold2d.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=917888 but it does not mention if I can replace the lua script from within the game, and reload it, is that possible? Should i just have a parameter file instead that i can download and replace?

    I am unclear on this, because I have heard mention of a proposed API for Unity Places, and such an API would be extremely useful for projects involving home automation. I am interested in developing in that direction, but I haven't been able to find the API for Unity Places. It would make the most sense of libunity was to include Unity Places because it would put all the functionality of the Unity launcher into one place. If libunity is not the API for UPs, does such an API exist, and how would I find it?
