• Display exception information and Debug.Print() messages in Immediate Window

  A friend of mine claims that calls to Debug.Print() as well as first-chance exception notifications appear in the Immediate Window for him. I found this surprising; for me they only appear in the Output Window. MSDN claims (here) that you can implicitly enable them in the Immediate Window by explicitly disabling them in the Output Window. But that doesn't work for me; the messages are not shown in either window if I disable this. The Immediate Window remains empty. How do I get the Immediate Window to display this information?

• Jquery display image problem

  Hello, I have PHP page where users can upload photos (using Ajax & PHP script). Those uploaded photos (thumbs) are shown after upload in DIV below upload field. Then, after hitting send button I want to clone that DIV at that same page at message board, bellow other messages with or without uploaded photos. When I try to do that with: var pht = $("#photos").clone().addClass('p_pht'); and try to display sent photos bellow sent message like this: $("div#wall").append('<div class=msg>'+ message +'</div><div class=n_pht>'+ pht +'</div>'); I get Jquery error message "[object Object]" in place where the photos should be displaying. What am I doing wrong?

• Using CGContext to display a sprite sheet iPhone

  Hello, So I have a spritesheet in png format, and have already worked out the coordinates for what I want to display. I'm trying to create a method that will return a UIImage when passed the location information on the spritesheet. I'm just not sure how to use the CGContext stuff along with the the coordinates to return an UIImage. I was looking to CGContextClipToRect because I think that is the way to do it, but I just can't seem to get it to work. Something like this CGSize size = CGSizeMake(xSize, ySize); UIGraphicsBeginImageContext(size); //CGContextClipToRect(spriteSheet.size, imageRect); [spriteSheet drawAtPoint:CGPointMake(xPos, yPos)]; UIImage *newImage = UIGraphicsGetImageFromCurrentImageContext(); UIGraphicsEndImageContext(); return scaledImage; returns only what is in the size Context. • Display a "Waiting Menssage" before the POST form send

  I have a upload file form, when you hit Submit it send the file to my server, but it takes a while, in the mean time i need to tell the user wait in order to get the file uploaded, because he can press Submit again because there is no menssage to prevent him. So, the user fill a few fields in the form, including a file. When he Send the form it sends the variables via POST to the same page: <form action="<?php echo $_SERVER['PHP_SELF']; ?>" enctype="multipart/form-data" method="post"> A php script detect the page now have POST variables a do something. In the time between the send action and the page reload i need to display a mensage, how can i do that??? Thanks It will be nice if you now how to trigger that with colorbox. I know how to use it from a link but no from this POST action.

• How to make a DropDownList control display some items in bold ASP.Net

  I'm working with a custom DropDownList control in ASP.Net and there's been a request to display certain items in the list with a bold typeface (NOTE - the control inherits from CompositeDataBoundControl so it can be data bound... not DropDownListBox). The control is bound to a table and there's a column in the table named IsUsed - if this is set to true, the corresponding item in the list should be rendered bold. (It should be noted here that this will only ever be viewed in FireFox.) My experience is all in the middle \ backend tiers so the presentation layer is very new to me - can someone point me in the right direction? My initial thought was that somewhere in the custom control I would have access to all the rows that are returned from the data source which I could cycle through etc but I'm not sure if that's possible... There's also RenderContents which I can override... looks interesting! Any help appreciated - cheers. James

• Margin animate problem with Monitor display settings

  I have an issue with an animation on a webpage. I have this div with text inside of it that I set the margin using css and when the page is loaded I use jquery to animate the div to a certain part of the page. The problem is it works with my concrete pixel settings, but if I change the properties of the monitor display settings in screen resolution(pixels), the div does not animate to the appropriate spot and it doesn't even start off at the appropriate spot from the css. Sample code: #div{ position:absolute; top:20px; left:50px } $("#div").animate({marginLeft: "250px"},2000); Is there a way to have the settings of the animation margin end at the approriate position no matter what the screen resolution is?

  Hi, I’ve throughout the last couple of years downloaded a lot of templates for websites and these are now starting to become chaotic in the different folders so I’m starting to get a overview of the different templates. Regarding to this I was thinking about the way that WordPress displays the different themes installed in the themes folder. It provides a small overview (thumbnail) of the theme and a possibility to preview the theme. Of cause, I don’t need or want such a advanced system as Wordpress but I’m attractive to the idea of displaying my templates in the same kind of manner and without using a Database. I’ve played around with different directory management scripts and tools for PHP but the best result I’ve got so fare is just to display the different content in the different folders but not create a preview which in each preview it will use the webpage itself and it’s stylesheets, images, etc. Does anyone have an idea how to create such a script or have a link to a already existing script. They are stacking vertically.   Hello, I want to develop some crosstab also know as pivot reports in Asp.net with x-axis and y-axis being dynamics, allowing grouping by row and column, for example: have products in y-axis and date in x-axis having in body number of sells of a given product in a given date, if date in x-axis are years, i want subtotals for each month for a product (row) and subtotals of sells of all products in date (column) I know there are products available to build reports, but i am using Mysql, so Reporting Service is not an option. It's not necessary for the client build additional reports, i think the simplest solution is having a control to display such information and not using crystal report (which is not free) or something more complex, i want to know if is there an available free control to reach my goal. Well, does anybody know a control or have a different idea, thanks in advance.

I just want to be able to display filenames that have no extensions. Filtering with *. does not do the trick. Is there a way I can do this with C#? Thanks.

• NSNumberFormatter to display custom labels for 10^n (10000 -> 10k)

  I need to display numbers on a plot axis. The values could change but I want to avoid too long numbers that will ruin the readability of the graph. My thought was to group every 3 characters and substitute them with K, M and so on (or a custom character). So: 1 - 1, 999 - 999, 1.000 - 1k, 1.200 - 1.2k, 1.280 - 1.2k, 12.800 - 12.8k, 999.999 - 999.9k, 1.000.000 - 1M, ... Note that probably I'll only need to format round numbers (1, 10, 1000, 1500, 2000, 10000, 20000, 30000, 100000, ...). Is that possibile with NSNumberFormatter? I saw that it has a setFormat method but I don't know how much customizable it is. I'm using NSNumberFormatter cause the graph object I use wants it to set label format and I want to avoid changing my data to set the label.

• Use anchor to display div

  I'm using jquery, and need to accomplish a couple things. 1) When someone clicks on a link (or in my case, a div) to display another div, I'd like to add an anchor to the url. So, if someone clicks on a "Live" link, the 'live' div slides down, and we append #live to the url. 2) If someone visits that page and keeps the #live anchor at the end of the url, then the 'live' div should be visible right away. I know how to handle the basic part of slideDown() if someone clicks a div. I don't know how to append the hashtag, or make it so that when the page is loaded that hashtag is checked and displays the respective div. Any help understanding this would be appreciated. • Chrome Extension: How to display tab objects?

  I am in the process of designing an extension for Google Chrome that helps to organize tabs (I know, there are many that already exist; that doesn't matter). I wish to open a popup window that will display tabs as objects (i.e., in the same way that it is displayed in the tab bar at the top of the browser). One way of doing this would be to pull various details (ID, Title, URL, etc.) from each tab, create a class and make instantiations of it upon the opening of each tab using these data, but this seems rather convoluted considering that what I want is sitting right there in the tab bar. Is there any simpler way to achieve this? In addition, I have seen several apps that utilize page previews. Is there something in the API that allows direct access to these?

  hi friends... i am working on displaying an image and placing an icon on top of it... clicking the icon will show an enlarged version of the image... though putting the imageview holding the image in a LinearLayout scales the image to the width of the dialog, the problem is that i need to display the image in a dialog but the image is very high resolution and hence is far bigger than the width of the dialog... I need to show the actual image with scrolling for both ways to see the whole image... But whenever i try putting the imageView in a scrollview the top of my imageview is blank... and again though image scrolls downwards the width is scaled to the width of the dialog... Helppppppppp guys....

  I have a raw email, (MIME multipart), and I want to display this on a website (e.g. in an iframe, with tabs for the HTML part and the plain text part, etc.). Are there any CPAN modules or Template::Toolkit plugins that I can use to help me achieve this? At the moment, it's looking like I'll have to parse the message with Email::MIME, then iterate over all the parts, and write a handler for all the different mime types. It's a long shot, but I'm wondering if anyone has done all this already? It's going to be a long and error prone process writing handlers if I attempt it myself. Thanks for any help.

  I have an NSWindow that I want to display as part of another window. It has to be an NSWindow; I don't want to change it to an NSView or anything... I just don't because it involves accessing foreign nib files and the such. How should I accomplish this if possible? I was thinking along the lines of grabbing the view of the NSWindow and sticking it as the subview of another view in my main window... but I don't think this is possible. Is it?
