• asyncsocket Write Issue

  I am attempting to use asyncsocket to communicate GPS data from a server app on my iPhone to a client app on my macbook. The two devices connect without any problems, and when the first data is sent from the iPhone to the laptop in asyncsocket's didConnectToHost method, the data is sent without hiccup. When I subsequently try to write additional data to the laptop from the locationManager method, however, no data is written.   I've a SharePoint portal for tracking questions in a list. When I open an list item in IE8 Telerik Editor works fine. But if I open this page inside VS2008 in browser mode this control starts to do unexpected actions. It's the Telerik RadEditor for Sharepoint v. 5.3.2.0. Is it a bug of VS2008 or a bug of Telerik RadEditor? Steps to reproduce: Install Telerik RadEditor in SharePoint portal Create a List with Rich editing field and create a new item Paste or type a text into Rich editing field and save changes Open VS2008 Click on any link in start page to open browser window Open created list item in VS in editing mode Mark a part of text in Rich editing field Marked text disappears.   I am modifying a wordpress theme completely, and have run into one very simple problem. Please look at my page here: wordpress blog When you scroll down, you can see the one blank area under the first post. For some reason, that block isn't floating left.   I am using PBE encryption to encrypt and decrypt some text on an Android application but I get the BadPaddingException: with the "pad block corrupted" message when I use the wrong private key to decrypt the text. My question, since I am not well versed with encryption in Java, is if this is the normal behavior of the encryption API, because I need to do some logic in the case when the wrong key is entered, but I do not know the private key, nor do I store it anywhere (storing just the encrypted and decrypted check text). • Weird URL parse issue. (Android)

  I am attempting to parse in a URL to a KML file from maps.google.com. When I try and use this link: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=112748174025829638330.000483ad6315714cc941d&z=13&output=kml` I am unable to overlay this KML file on my MapView. If I were to take the KML file that I get from following this link and upload it to my Dropbox it will work just fine. I think there may be something about the URL from Google that it doesn't like? Link from dropbox: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1037184/Blue_original.kml Also it would be better if we could just save these KML files locally and pass them in the same way but I can't figure out a way to do this. Here is the code I am using: Intent mapIntent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW); Uri uri1 = Uri.parse("geo:0,0?q=http://code.google.com/apis/kml/ documentation/KML_Samples.kml"); mapIntent.setData(uri1); startActivity(Intent.createChooser(mapIntent, "Test")); The URL used in this example also works.   Hello all, I'm trying some basic iPhone programming -- all has been going well but recently I've hit a bit of a roadblock. I've got a chunk of code that's passing an NSMutableDictionary (amongst other things) to a method in another class: [self.shuttle makeAPICallAndReturnResultsUsingMode:@"login" module:@"login" query:credentials]; The NSMutableArray credentials is previously defined a bit above as such: NSMutableDictionary *credentials = [[NSMutableDictionary alloc] init]; [credentials setObject:username forKey:@"username"]; [credentials setObject:password forKey:@"password"]; The method that receives it looks like such: -(id)makeAPICallAndReturnResultsUsingMode:(NSString *)mode module:(NSString *)module query:(NSMutableDictionary *)query From debugging I have determined that the code works fine up until this point within the above method: [query setObject:self.sessionID forKey:@"session_id"]; At this point, the application terminates -- the Console informs me of this exception: * Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '* -[NSCFDictionary setObject:forKey:]: method sent to an uninitialized mutable dictionary object' This leads me to believe that I must initialize NSMutableDictionary in some way in my new method before I can access it, but I have no idea how. Any advice?

• Issue with clipping rectangles and back to front rendering

  Here is my problem. My rendering algorithm renders from back to front. But logically, clipping rectangles need to be applied from front to back. • Flex TileList control, image loading issue

  I have a flex 3 TileList in wich a load several image (employee's headshot pictures). The image I'm loading in the TileList are stored in a DataBase (I use the ByteArray class and a Base 64 encoding to store the images in the DB). When I load the images in the TileList from the DB, there is no problem they are displayed correctly, but when I scroll down in the TileList and scroll up again, the position of the images is changing, so for example the image in first position can be now in the 3rd and so on .... • Massive SQL issue shutting down our site.

  Our website has started timing out like crazy today. All of our clients are finding it unusable. The only error we can seem to trace down as a potential problem is this: SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_DBC failed Error ASP Description Error Category Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers I have no idea what it means or how to go about fixing it. Anyone ever encountered this error before? Currently, you can log in to our site, but then once you go to do anything else, you find yourself logged out or nothing happens. We have a lot of Ajax going on so the "nothing happens" probably has to do with the Ajax pages not loading properly due to logouts and so nothing displays to the user. Like I said, I'm at a loss. Anyone have any advice on this error?

• having issue while making the client calls persession in c# wcf

  1.) I have a main method Processing, which takes string as an arguments and that string contains some x number of tasks. 2.) I have another method Status, which keeps track of first method by using two variables TotalTests and CurrentTest. which will be modified every time with in a loop in first method(Processing). 3.) When more than one client makes a call parallely to my web service to call the Processing method by passing a string, which has different tasks will take more time to process. so in the mean while clients will be using a second thread to call the Status method in the webservice to get the status of the first method. 4.) when point number 3 is being done all the clients are supposed to get the variables(TotalTests,CurrentTest) parallely with out being mixed up with other client requests. 5.) The code that i have provided below is getting mixed up variables results for all the clients when i make them as static. If i remove static for the variables then clients are just getting all 0's for these 2 variables and i am unable to fix it. Please take a look at the below code.   Am using Checkbox as ItemRenderer in tilelist. Am trying to setting checkbox selected values through xml. I got the values perfectly.. but checkbox could not bind the values(could not accept that). It's automatically sets true for all checkboxes.   Hi, I am writing a Core Data-based iPhone app and I am new to Objective-C. I have a bug that I am really struggling to nail. What happens when the return key is pressed is that an attribute on an entity is updated. I don't know what array is out of bounds as I am not using any arrays in my code! • viewstack causing error 1065 variable not defined issue?

  I've got an flex application where I have a left side TREE control and a viewstack on the right and when someone selects the tree it loads the named viewstack based on the hidden node value of the XML of the tree. But it's throwing a error 1065 variable not defined on a viewstack which worked on the last browser refresh/reload. It's not related to a particular viewstack from what I can tell it just seems to throw the error on certain render events. • Silverlight DataGrid vertical scrollbar issue

  I have a DataGrid in my silverlight application and I'm wondering how to get the same behavior for the vertical scrolling as the horizontal scrolling. When I resize the browser horizontally, The app will bunch up all the controls and the horizontal scrollbar will appear, however when I resize it vertially, the controls at the bottom of the app just move out of view. Does anyone know any tricks to handle something like this?

  Hi All I am trying to build a shopping website with ajax. When a user clicks the "add to cart" image. The little loading image will show next to the Add To Cart Image. The first click works fine and the image showed as I expected. However, the second and the following clicks appends more images on the first loading image(2nd:add two loading images, 3rd: add three images..6 total images after 3 clicks). I did use ajaxStop and remove the first image...Not sure what's going on...Could use a help. Thanks a lot. • JQuery jqGrid vertical spacing issue in IE

  I have been developing an app to use jQuery's jqGrid plugin, and I thought I had it all wrapped up until I tried to view the grid in IE. In IE, the grid appears with a much larger height in the .ui-jqgrid-view div, but the data itself stays at a smaller size and displays at the bottom of the container div (.ui-jqgrid-view). I need to get the grid to display "properly". I don't care if it is the larger size (that IE displays) or smaller (as in FF)... I just need to have the data fill the grid area. Thanks!
